What would a world be like if you were forced to see the worst day of your life forever? It could be the day of your death, the day of a mass genocide, a traumatic experience, anything. It would be a shame if that happened, right? Well... You can probably guess where this is going. One day everyone wakes up exactly the way they did when the event happened. They live through the day suspecting nothing until... It happens. They could witness their own death, someone else’s death, etc. They either go to sleep that night and relive it the next day, or at the moment of their death they wake up immediately the next day. Everyone’s life is utter hell for almost 2 years before something happens. A random door appears, a gateway to freedom. A person is greeted with the choice to save someone else or go to an unworldly place, a fantasy land. Also, I might mention, suicide was the only escape in that 2 year frame leaving half of the world left.

Personality: Ilmatar is a very lazy and lethargic person who spends half of the day sleeping in the sun. Very little ever motivates Ilmatar to do anything and ever since the same day had been relived over an over again, Ilmatar has become more and more withdrawn.
