Rantaro was sitting down at the beach, waiting for the 4 to come back to him. He was looking at the sky as he reminisced on his past.

Winter finished his slide rather fast, and splashed into the pool at the bottom. He floated in the shallows for a few seconds after that, far out of the danger zone that someone else would fall on top of him, before remebering Rantaro's words. He dug his claws into the sides of the pool and pulled himself up. He sniffed out Rantaro and went over to his spot at the beach.

Snowflake was the first to arrive beside him, of course, and approached him. "Rantaro? Sir? You wanted to offer me something?" She sat next to him.

“Since you arrived first...I’ll tell you.” He slowly turned around. “On this island, we have a... island challenge if you will. These are to test ones qualities.I wanted to offer you the chance in participating in the island challenge. Only sages can give the approval of one participating in a trial.” Rantaro smiled gently

The Luxray was seeking out Winter. Someone had a request for him
“Snowflake...will you take up the trial?”

Ruby smiled at him and giggled a bit and started to bounce a little bit happily, Patty then felt her way to the exit

Winter saw a luxray approaching him. He stopped in his tracks, peering at the feline pokemon. The luxray was clearly looking for him, and he wondered why.

Snowflake stared at Rantaro for a moment, processing what he'd just offered her. After the whole thing with Tapu Bulu, she had felt super awesome, so she wasn't completely surprised she'd get a request like this, but she was still fluster. Honestly super flattered, she began to nod. "S-sure."

The Luxray stopped when he saw Winter. "Aha. You're sir Winter, yes?" He smiled gently

Rantaro at that response held one arm up and a shining blue light appeared at his fingertips, soon an amulet appeared at his hand, and he handed it to Snowflake. "Whenever you feel you want to challenge the first trial...go speak to any of the sages, including myself."

"I'll wait for those others." She greedily grabbed the amulet, trembling with excitement. "But I will definitely start soon!" Tail wagging and ecstatic, she put the amulet on and stood there, hardly able to contain herself.

Winter almost rolled his eyes at the nickname coming from a stranger, but smiled back at the luxray. "Yessir. That'd be me." He peered more curiously at the Luxray, did someone have something for him? He suddenly remembered to wonder if it had something to do with Rantaro's offer, or if this was about something else entirely.

"Well...are you sure? The trial can only be done one at a time. Someone has to test you individually." Rantaro said, a little surprised. The amulet was shaped like a music note. The two quavers joined to one another. "We do have multiple testers but...it's your choice." He smiled.

"Do you remember that Incineroar? He's looking for you. It seems as though he's heard a few things about you." The Luxray smiled. "Seems like he wants to meet"

Winter racked his brain... "The one from the bouncy house?" He glanced in the castle's direction. "I'll go to him I guess..." He began turning towards the bouncy, bubbly place, remembering his request to get into the ring and take him on. He'd been completely distracted by his own boredom and the time! Though, he was certainly not opposed to trying out his whole 'tripping' strategy he'd thought of.

"Well, I mean..I won't do it with them, obviously, but I do want them to catch up first, y'know?" Snow had barely gotten the chance to meet the other pokemon that had helped with Tapu Bulu, and honestly wanted to know them better. She was still new to the island and wanted to make friends here if she were going to stay here.

“Of course! You know...while we’re at it...I had in invited guest today...a famous wrestler and actor, and he’s set up something in the bounce house.” Rantaro said airily to Snowflake. “He’s an old friend back in my days as a guild member

Winter stifled a gasp. Zacian? He hadn't expected the celeb to bother with him after the meet and greet thing. He began making his way over to the house, feeling a lot more pressure than before, now that Zacian had taken the time to notice him. It was just a play ring though...

Snowflake glanced at the bounce house. "What about it? Are you saying I should check it out?" A famous wrestler and actor..just hanging out at a public event? She'd thought she would've heard about it far before this, but that was a pretty cool thing, and she was mighty curious.

The Incineroar was waiting for Winter. “Aha...so you’re the one the little tyke Emerald and Zacian told me more about!” He smiled and laughed boisterously.

“Heh. He’s a friend of mine, and he does love a good wrestle.” Rantaro shrugged with a chuckle. “He comes every year to make me make an inflatable wrestling ring for him, he destroys the ones he gets. He told me that; ‘They are the comfiest’” he laughed lightly. “How is wrestling comfortable?”

Snowflake shrugged. She'd never been wrestling, so she couldn't really talk. "Sounds fun." She chuckled with him softly, digging her tail into the sand, making tail shaped impressions into it, starting to feel the sun again, even with the slight breeze coming from the ocean behind her.

Winter gave him a playful glare. "So you want to challenge the future adventurer and hero, me?" He said a dramatic voice to the cat pokemon, eyeing the ring.

“Maybe you should check it out before the day is over? The festival is over soon and well....I don’t want the castle to go to waste y’know? I pulled an all-nighter.” Rantaro said with an amicable smile

“Just thought we could have some fun, y’know?” The Incineroar laughed. “Emerald told me how much fun you two have together, and now...I want to see what you can do!” He said while still in the ring

Glitters scrabbled back to her feet, and instantly lunged at Incineroar with her wings splayed out to try and make it easier.

I'm trying to think of a good signature, so... Use your imagination.
