Love is a powerful force, isn’t it? Powerful enough to cause wars, powerful enough that it could end all life as we know it. That is, if we aren’t careful. Love can bring families together, and also break them apart. It can bring death, but also bring life. After many years the government has realized that love isn’t something to leave untouched. They’ve made a new race that is designed to rid love out of this world. These people are called “Cupids”, such a deceiving name, isn’t it? All Cupids have the very strong power to manipulation the human mind into making decisions. This power is called “Charmspeak”, yet another deceiving name. Sometimes, the human mind is stronger than that. They refuse to give up their love, making it difficult to rid love out of this world. That’s where Cupids’ other abilities come into play. Each Cupid specializes in a certain skill, such as pyrokinesis. They use these abilities to kill those who refuse. But here’s a twist. Some Cupids have escaped the brainwashing of the government and are against the idea of removing love from this earth. These people are called “Eros”. Now, you will be placed in an ordinary day, just like any other.

Crimson scowled. He hated Cupids. He was hiding in the shadows, though his red hair stuck out like fire in a forest.
Melody woke up, cheerful and skipped downstairs, making her breakfast, she was just happy to be alive.

Inkli was on a jog, dressed in sweats and a T-shirt. It was overcast, but still warm outside. Near perfect weather for outside exercise.

Roxy walks along the streets. A specific location was tagged in her mind. A certain boy was giving the government a lot of problems. This boy was strong, able to resist many other Cupid's charmspeaks. This is where she comes into play, she will kill those who resist. The boy lays asleep in his bed, unaware of the fact that he was going to die this very morning. She finds a window that is slightly cracked open. She pushes it the rest of the way up and enters. The smallest giggle escapes from her when she walks in. She lived for this moment, the thrill of stealing a soul. She wonders how many life forms resign somewhere deep inside of her cold heart.

Lauren watches her Cupids from a computer. She tracks everything, their location, their pulse, brain waves, everything. If they start to feel something even for a moment, she'll have to brainwash them again. Although she gives Roxy a pass. She has to live through her targets life in a short period of time. It's normal for her body to mimic the emotions. But they'll disappear after a few moments... Or else

Crimson looks at melody and scowls. "Go away. This isn't your fight." He says as he starts climbing the building to where Roxy is. "Roxy, No stealing souls."

Inkli was making his final stretch toward his house, when he chanced upon something very peculiar. A grumpy looking man climbing a building, with a teenaged girl watching. He had a feeling this wasn't a robbery.

Inkli walked up to the building, looked at the man, then said to Melody, "Inkli. A pleasure to meet you." He held out his hand, hoping to shake hers. He was rather find of everyday actions that had a different meaning.

Roxy ignores Crimson. This was her job, he wouldn't understand. She shoots him a glare before walking upstairs. She locks the door on the way up so he can't enter. She slowly turns towards the boy. He was beginning to awaken now that Crimson had spoken. She walks over to the bed and places her hands on his forehead. This wakes him up. But he is in too much shock to immediately fight her off. She sits on his chest to ensure that he cannot buck her off. She then begins draining away his life force. She shuts her eyes as his life plays through her head. In reality, the process is only about two minutes long. But to her it feels like a lifetime put on fast forward. The boy fights less and less each moment, too weak to fight her. She'll soon feel the same way.

Phee was waking up like usual, not a care in the world. She would go about on her normal routine like it was nothing. Getting up out of bed she put her clothes on and got ready for the day. Her outfit showed a lot of skin, considering that her job depended on it. She had on a very low v-neck crop top and high shorts, almost only covering her under clothes. At least it showed the sexy curves of her body and somehow drew attention to her long and elegant brown hair and almost perfect face. Of course, her job was to do one night stands. She didn’t mind doing it, it was a fantastic job and payed well. She never had any attraction to the guys she met, so it was all good.

Jay was traveling the streets, looking for the girl he had met in a bar before, but couldn’t find her. One look was all it took to fall in love. His heart ached to see her face again. She was a good woman, that was for sure. He didn’t care much about her looks.

Roxy laughs. "You want me to let him go? Fine?" She releases him. Most of his lift force was gone. She had taken the important bits. Leaving him screaming in insanity. With so many important memories missing, his brain couldn't respond, the neurons in his brain were slowly deactivating. "Now, we can let this poor man have brain damage and become clinically insane or... You let me finish my job... Your choice" she examines her nails as she speaks, not bothered by the man's screams. She felt a bit weak and drained, but she was still able to hold herself up strongly now that the job wasn't totally finished.

She puts on a light cardigan and heads out the door, planning to go to a nearby coffee shop to find a guy to “hang out with” for the night. She also needed caffeine, last night was tiring. It was a good night, one of the best nights she had in her career. She might contact him later... She walked until she reached Moondollars, a famous coffee shop in the city, and entered it.

Spotting a familiar face with a familiar build, his eyes lit up. Was it really her? This was his chance... He casually made his way across the street and followed her into the coffee shop.

Inkli shook his head, allowing the girl's question to pass by him. "Well, I'll be off. My roommate is probably awake, wondering where I am. Also, I've gotta cook breakfast. Ta!" He started jogging back toward his house, wondering what sounded good to eat this fine morning.

"Good boy" she places her hands back on the boy. This time he practically allows her to. So she no longer needs to sit on him. After another minute it starts to take affect on her. Tears fall down her face, and her body physically relaxes. She lets out a final gasp with the boy. The smallest and faintest glow admits from his mouth. Instead of going to the afterlife he goes to Roxy. Her eyes glow slightly from it before her eyes shut entirely and she falls onto the floor.

Crimson looked at her. "Why do you do these things, Roxy, when you could use them for a good purpose?" he says, then jumping down and taking off his mask. He enters his house, takes off his battle gear and goes into his casual outfit. He starts walking to Moondollars, annoyed.

Melody looks in horror at Roxi. Did she just... Kill him?
