Sitting by the cliff edge of the island, Mu gently swing his feet back and forth letting the crisp wind run through his hair. He listened to the faint sounds of activity from the village, ears straining to make out the low murmur of voices. Drawing his long hair back into a lazy braid, Mu heaved himself up and wandered back to the rest of his fellow islanders

Aldebaran was lazily sunning himself when his rider approached. Cracking an eye open, the Stormcutter huffed and stretched a tail out to curl loosely around Mu's ankle. Smiling slightly, Mu stepped forward and slotted himself in the curve of Aldebaran's belly just below his pairs of wings. Both dragon and rider were feeling lazy today.

Udul The Grey was sitting down on his chair on the perch of his house. He looked around the village, his back aching. Feeling a gust of wind on his back, he turned to see Cela and Alec land next to where he sat. Rolling their necks around his torso, they purred hoping they could get him to ride. He pushed them away playfully, no time to spend on them. The village needed him, he couldn't afford to leave them right now.

Markhors Keep was the political center of Clear Meadows- From the outside, it was more of a Catedral than a longhouse, with a glass dome in the ceiling and all. Its second biggest pride was was the Rose Window above the entrance, depicting a leaping Markhor with fireworms flying alongside it.

Jorunn was certain that the public herb garden surrounding the Keep must be the first. Especially now, with a curious dragon sitting in grass beside her, resting her giant chin on the top of Jorunn's head as she sketches designs into a leather-bound book.

With the sun shining and his dragon's rhythmic breathing, Mu slipped into a light slumber. He would wake up if called, but for now his rest went undisturbed. He felt his dragon shift around and Mu opened one eye slightly to see Aldebaran wrap himself protectively around his rider. Chuckling at his actions, Mu lazily scratched the soft flesh of his underbelly as a small reward.

Calder was taking a small stroll through the Thron Needle village, his stormcutter, Fourstone, happily following him. As the young chief walked through the village he thought about some of the choices he had recently made. Was he right to allow his tribe to resurface, how would the other dragon riders feel? He sighed and sat down on a tree's large roots, Fourstone quickly settling besides him.

Shine was coming back from his daily ride with Jellyfish, a small smile on his face. He was feeling much more relaxed and he decided to get back to work, planning some lessons for the students.

There was a fluttering of wings near the Chief and Siraye, his ambassador, touched down with Syndra, "Hello Chief. Looking a bit lost in thought there."

Dark clouds were forming over the Night riders village. A chilly breeze ran through the village, making Ugul shiver. The time was coming soon enough, and he had to make sure his people were ready.
