How does breeding types work?

Like Human type with Human type, does it only give you one of the parents or does it have a chance to give you any Human type?

You mean egg group? When breeding, Daycare Man only cares about the first Egg Group if they have 2 Egg Groups.
And if they say ‘The two prefer to play with other Pokemon than each other’, that means you can’t breed two of them, other cases will be breedable, and if the two are different, they will give randomly an egg which hatches a baby that is the same as the parents (only if they are breedable)
