I did a search for this and saw nothing so...

Every year, we used to get two special events, no matter what else was going on. These were Shaymin and Kyurem. The past two years however, Shaymin hasn't returned, and Kyurem was replaced by Zeraora.

I'm suggesting a last block in the Ancient Cave quests, a repeatable quest like Raylong.

You enter the cave, and pay 50k-100k pd. You choose one of the pokemon that shows up randomly while you're clicking, and away you go! Much like the events themselves, you won't know how much you click: Shaymin might turn up after 10 clicks or 10k clicks. Perhaps this will also give us the chance to finally shiny hunt them...

As well, the little gifts can be the same, or expanded to all three. Shaymin still gives an egg, plushie, or Gracidea (since this is still the only way to find said shiny plushie, and that's random chance, and hasn't appeared in two years). Kyurem and Zeraora could also hand out plushies of themselves with a chance at the shiny plushie.

This provides two major benefits to the userbase:
1. A PD sink that's not too pricey, noobs and old users can all participate
2. A way to bring back these pokemon, since there's really no reason given as to why they've not come back in the past few years.

50-100k per egg is good, like, thats cheaper than most summons, and the fact they'd be ancient cave pokemon makes them pretty damn similar to chaining Raylóng/Reshiram/Zekrom/Ultra Beasts which is also not an alien concept to lots of users. It would also practically pay for itself and incentivize interacting which helps the site keep going and keeps eggs hatching when they stagnate so it'd increase the overall activity of users too which'd be nice.

I'm absolutely 100% down for this becoming a thing because we've not had Shaymin or Kyurem in two years now and that method of releasing is nice to introduce it to the site but the fact their shiny chances are stuck to just whatever the hell random chance is is garbage and gives them inconceivable value if they do shine and makes the idea of ever getting them little more than a pipe dream which is crushing to completionists that dont have the real life money to burn to attempt to buy our way to success.

you've got my support for this idea, since i never got the chance to get Zeraora due to being busy with work, so this would give me a chance to actually get one myself.

This makes a ton of sense. It'll make players actively interact to that we won't get x2 days every two weeks anymore...as well as what Gregory said, it'll basically pay for itself from the amount of interacts you'll be doing. You have my support (Y)

Still think it’s a good idea. I definitely feel like we should be able to shiny hunt these, being some of the only mons you can’t hunt at all. Full support

We had Kyurem last year and Zeraora was just new this year. I like that I’m thinking they will go back and forth each year (maybe). And if it was easier to get shaymin, it wouldn’t be as rare. How about deal with how Riako and the staff are planning things, and be patient.

I vote no. This whole post was just complaining.

A suggestion that involves logical and coherent argument with an idea on how to change things is called... complaining? That's a first.

A lot of it is we just don't know. We have no idea what might be being planned, what's going on with these legends- nothing at all. Which is fine, because Riako likes to have things as a surprise. But it also doesn't mean we can't pitch ideas. There's really no harm in making a suggestion about something that may already have something in the works.

Also, Shaymin wouldn't be as rare? Shaymin isn't rare, it never really has been. Like Celebi, Hoopa, and the Regis, Shaymin isn't a rare legend.

Additionally, you're ignoring the fact that Shaymin, Kyurem, and Zeraora are un-huntable. The only way to get a shiny is to get incredibly lucky with the full odds- twice for Shaymin and thrice for Kyurem, for completionists. This suggestion also would allow them to be huntable, which would be a big plus.

this is a great idea though maybe a little variety for how you obtain them since shaymin and kyurem are not very alike.

the possibility of getting a summon item for shaymin, kyurem or zeraora from the ancient cave

My first idea was to get a summon item for doing 50k interactions and 100k interactions, that way you aren't empty-handed after the effort

or:
Shaymin from white powder + certain berries at a high level
zeraora from an item you can only fish up in thunderstorm but just with higher drop chance, but small chance during the other weathers and exchanging 5 for a "plasma map"
kyurem from the cave makes the most sense
