Hello users of PH, I’m LucarioLover99, and this is my oc fan fiction! I have three OCs, and there will be short parts from each one’s perspective. This is my first fan fiction, so it won’t be the best, but I’ll try to write well. Enjoy! Oh, and feel free to post or ask questions.

Title: Prologue

Ryu: I remember it like it was yesterday. It was the last day of school. I was taking a stroll home on the busy streets, packed with students. I didn’t have plans for the summer, but I knew one thing. It was time to relax! I strutted happily on the sidewalk, waving at the last time at my friends as I went past the bus stop (I would’ve taken transit, but forgot to bring money). A glimmer of gold caught my eye. I took a glance at the ground. It was a ring, a strange looking one. Shining golden in the summer sun, it had little spikes and crosses, with a few emerald looking rhinestones placed into it. It looked... strangely familiar, but I couldn’t place where I had seen it before. Francis would’ve known. He was my nerdy friend, shy at first glance, but funny and cute once you got to know him. Kate, my optimistic friend (probably too optimistic for her own good) would probably just put it on without a thought. She does like collecting things. I smiled a little, thinking of how I would miss my friends over the summer. I thought of Kate and slid the ring onto my finger. Then I remembered where I had seen this before. This was an Arceus symbol! Maybe this was a new fan item? School ended, and I had found this little treasure? This was the best day ever! Suddenly, my vision blurred. I didn’t know why, but I started shivering. I panicked and started running down the sidewalk( I’m more of the fight person when it comes to fight or flight, but this scared me out of my senses). I ran straight into a nearby bush. What was wrong with me? Was I having a seizure? A bright light filled my vision, and an ominous voice spoke in my head. IT IS TIME. And it sounds impossible, but trust me, it really happened. I think I’m stuck now. As a riolu.

Title: Chapter 1

Nico: I would use some colourful language, but I doubt a Pokémon would know what those were. It been a few days since I’ve been stuck here. I should’ve never picked up that golden ring! It was the last day of school, I was about to have a great summer! Now I can’t even remember my own name... Every day I wake up, hoping that this was some sort of nightmare. It not. I’m an eevee now. An eevee. Of all things. Kira would’ve told me to stop. She was brave, but could be protective of me that way. Gosh, I hope that Kira sand Kate are ok. So from what I know now, I’m stuck in some sort of Pokémon world? You might think that is is great, but it’s been so long since I’ve eaten pizza, I don’t know if I can live. The Pokémon are pretty friendly though. I met a nice vulpix who gave me a tamato berry. I guess playing all of those Pokémon games was helpful (ha, mom and dad!), I at least know a little about what’s going on. If this is another universe, how much time would have passed already where my family is? Still a month? A second? A century? My friends would tell me to stop being such a nerd right now... There is so much going on that I don’t even know how to process it. I guess I’ll just pretend that I belong, and just hope that there’s a chance I can get back home. Well, I see smoke, I’m either close to another freaking Torcoal or civilization. And let’s hope it’s the latter. I walk up the slope and look down... What. The. Heck. It’s a Pokémon village. How does this even work? Well, time to introduce myself.. what should I call myself now? I can’t remember my name... I guess I’ll just go with Nico.

Title: Chapter 2

Pebble: Ive been in this town for... a week now? It’s a nice town, kind of like the one back home. I like how peaceful it is, and how freely everyone is. They call it mantyke town, in honor of the mantyke in the ocean. The legends say that the mantyke carried over the first Pokémon to start this town. I can see them jumping in the sea from here... it’s funny, the legends were my favourite part of the Pokémon games back home. I miss home... I miss Kira and Francis too. I wonder what they are doing... are they wondering where I am? The red ring that brought me here... how does that even work? Where in space and time even am I? Gosh, I’m being like Francis now, always asking questions. I wonder if this is really a bad thing? I’m a new Pokémon (oh, did I mention I’m a rockruff? I have to admit i look cute) in a new place. I guess I built up my positive ego a little too high back home... maybe this is my chance to start over? But I’d choose to go home any day! I miss everyone and everything, I guess I didn’t really know that untill I left. Anyways, I guess I’ll sleep now, in my small room in the phione inn. This is... what is my name? I’ll think of something... pebble, maybe? I’m a rockruff after all. Well (or should I say whale? I like puns too much), this is pebble, signing off for now.

Title: Chapter 3

Ryu: There’s an adventurer guild in this town! I’ve always wondered what it would be like to actually battle and explore a Pokémon world... though I never thought I’d do it as a Pokémon. I guess I’ve started adjusting here, pretending that I fit in. I wonder if there is anyone like... me? I’d ask, but that’s one of the few things I’m scared to do. My thoughts still come and go... My memory of my name is gone, so I guess I’ll go with Ryu, now (I’m not really the creative type). I remember my friends, Kate and Francis, but even then, I can only remember their personalities and not any particular memories. I’ve forgotten my family... did I have one? My friends knew me as brave, but I’m not really. I just act brave sometimes ( I can be a little bit of a show off sometimes). Tests? Not scary at all! Spiders? Nope. Teachers? Unpopular opinion, but they can be nice if you listen. These emotional things are what gets me. Forgetting something important... I think that was one of my fears? Or at least it is now. What if I forget about my friends? What if I manage to get back? I guess I’ll just be staying here for now... I should try to help some Pokémon while I’m here, I guess. Maybe I should make a explorer team with some of the friendly Pokémon here?

Title: Chapter 4

Nico: I know I’m not really the social type, but I met a new Pokémon today. It’s pretty strange how just being a Pokémon can bring things out in you. Her name was Ryu, and she was a Riolu (wow, wonder who the creative genius who named her was?). She asked me to join an explorer team in the adventurers guild. I don’t remember many particular memories of myself before I came here, but I think I played a Pokémon game like this, pmd? Ok, I kind of fanboyed in my head (yes, I’m nerdy) at that moment. Of course I agreed! There’s nothing else to do in this town anyways, and I want to see what this world has to offer. Maybe... I’ll even find a way to get back home. Ryu seemed thrilled when I accepted... I think Kira was a little bit like that. Maybe I’ll adjust and make some friends here after all. But it’s not just because of the friends! Ryu obviously needs some brains on the team. I’m meeting new Pokémon every day now (wow, after Kira and Kate, I didn’t think I would socialize with anyone else, though I guess I need to here). My room mate at this inn is called pebble, they are a rockruff. A cheerful Pokémon, pretty naive it seems, like lots of Pokémon here. I’ve been thinking, there probably isn’t a way to leave this place, or at least one that I can find. So, if I need to think long term here, I’m going to need to evolve. It might help me on my adventures, and I want to know what it feels like. But what should I choose? Hmm... I should stop procrastinating and thinking too far ahead. Tomorrow Ill go with Ryu to find another member for the team. It’s been an exhausting day, exploring town, I guess I’ll sleep now. Bye for now. ~Nico (wow I need to get used to my new name)

Title: Chapter 5

Pebble: If I had a nickel ( or should I say poke now?) for every Pokémon I met today, I’d be rich! My roommate and his friend, i think her name is Ryu, asked me to join an Explorers team! There wasn’t much else to do, and my friends would’ve said to stop sulking in my room, so I joined. Ill get to meet so many more pokemon too! We walked to the adventurer’s guild. I started thinking about how this felt like deja vu, but I couldn’t quite place it ( my memories are a bit fuzzy ). I wondered about how that red ring had brought me here... Suddenly, a shrill voice stopped us in our tracks. “HALT!” Startled and confused, we saw 2 bird looking pokemon swoop down. “Greetings!” Said the first, her red and yellow feathers waving in the wind. “What is your business here?” Calm and collected, Ryu spoke up. “We’d like to make an exploration team, please!” “Finally! Exclaimed the other bird. He looked smaller than the first bird, and had brown and white feathers. “It’s been a while since we’ve had new recruits. And I won’t be the newest anymore!” He turned to look at us. “My name is Star ( seriously, Star for a starkly, Ryu for a riolu, who is even naming all these Pokémon?), and this is Red.” He explained, turning towards her. “We’re team talon!” “What are your names?” Asked red. “Where are you from? Riolu, Eevee And Rockruff aren’t common around here. “I-I’m Pebble.” I nervously spoke up. “I’m from... the next village over.” Nico spoke up, saying that he was from there too! I started sweating, what if he knew I wasn’t? But it didn’t seem to be a problem. Ryu said that she mostly lived in the wild! That was pretty impressive. Finally, team talon led us into the guild! From above, it looks small, but underneath, it’s huge! They say digtrio and excadrill dug out the whole thing, and they even dug canals for water Pokémon to swim into! There weren’t as many teams as I thought, I saw only about 10 different colour scarves (they represent each team). In the impressive building, many Pokémon flashed a smile at us, or waved hello. As we were watching the scene in amazement, we were greeted by yet another Pokémon! “Hello, I’m guild master ampharos, who are you?” After introducing ourselves again, she asked us a question. “It’s clear that you want to start a team if you are in here, have you come up with a name?” “A name?” Repeated Ryu. “We, haven’t even thought about it yet!” Turning to us, she asked,”what you you think?” “Hmm... I think we should do something cool sounding like team talon’s name. Maybe team fang?” Suggested Nico. I spoke up next. “I think something with a trait name, like team spirit.” Finally it was Ryu’s turn. “Maybe... could we do team justice paws? I think that would be a good mix of those ideas.” “Ok, I can deal with that.” Agreed Nico. “Yeah, I like it!” I said, my tail wagging. “Team Justice paws it is!” Added the guild master, and handed us each a blue scarf. “This is your team scarf. You can recognize each other by the colour. And,” she spoke, handing me a pouch,” this is your explorers, bag. Keep your treasures safe inside it!” I took a peek inside. I saw a few berries, a note book and pen and... the smooth red ring... it looked like the one that brought me here? Strange. “Here, Nico, do you want to hold it?” I asked, slightly spooked. “Sure.” He picked up the bag (well, it looked more like he stepped through the strap!). The guild master spoke. “Well, team justice paws, time to show you around!”

Title: Chapter 6

Ryu: I still can’t belive that there are no people here... the guild was built by Pokémon... only Pokémon. There is so much going on that I worry that I’ll forget something important. Guild master Ampharos let another team show us around, they were called team dragon! That would make sense, there was a zweilous and a drudigon. They seemed really competitive, always trying to be the best. I asked them why they decided to form a team if they kept arguing. Thorn, spike (the zweilous), and barb (the druddigon) all tried to answer at the same time (we started laughing), but they said it was so that they could push themselves as hard as they could to be the best and do their best. It makes a lot of sense. We got to speak to so many new Pokémon, and we ate dinner together in the mess hall (you should see Nico eat, you wouldn’t even guess how fast he wolfed down those berries). We met team talon again there, we learned that the guild is going on a field trip to laparas lagoon soon! Maybe it will give me a chance to explore this world, and maybe even find a way out... but I’d already miss Nico and Pebble, they’re such good friends! I wonder how my friends are doing back home? I hope they’re ok... I have to push on for them. Well, here I am now, sitting in our room in the guild (no more of that inn). I’ve been thinking... I managed to get here, and if there is a way in, there is probably a way out? Unless this is some sort of black hole? Well, tomorrow we might be going on some rescue and exploration adventures. If I’m ever going to find a way out, I’m going to need to evolve. How does a riolu evolve again? Not by stone... maybe level? I don’t really know... I wish I had played more Pokémon platinum! Once I’m a Lucario, maybe I can find a way out of here... I should train hard to evolve. Well, time for lights out, time to go to my next, Ryu out!

Title: Chapter 7

Nico: Nearly drowning was NOT the what I had in mind for my first rescue mission. I woke up first, on edge. I had a bad dream, and I felt like I was being watched... strange. Pebble and Ryu were still asleep. I still don’t know what to think of them much... how can I trust anyone in this world? Everything is new... I wish my friends or something familiar were here with me. Ryu seems really determined and strong, she is bold, but can be a little cold. Pebble seems energetic and optimistic... a little too much, I feel like she’s hiding something. She’s having a bad dream, I can tell by the way she’s tossing and turning. Oh well, I’m thinking too hard about this stuff. I guess I’ll go back to sleep... *fast forward to next morning* A loud REEEEEEEEEE wakes me up, looks like my team slept in! “Wake up, sleepy heads!” Teases a noivern. “Looks like someone doesn’t know what an alarm clock is,” grumbles Ryu. “Oh well, time to eat breakfast!” Before I can pack my things, Red and Star fly into the room. “The guildmaster has a mission for you!” They exclaim at once. We rush to Master Ampharos’s room. “Ryu, Pebble and Nico!” Says the guild master. “We need your help! There is a pair of growlithe stuck in emerald cave, and we need you to get them out! Today is a busy day, and all the other members are rescuing other Pokémon! I’m sorry you missed breakfast, but you can prove yourself to the guild right now!” Pebble seems a little nervous, but Ryu boldly says: “Don’t worry, we can do it!” “Wow, what a great job listening to the team,” I grumble, “but let’s do it.” A couple minutes later, we are standing in front of emerald cave with my team. “Wow, that’s dark. Are you sure we should do this?” I slink away from the cave. Ryu and pebble pull me back. “Don’t chicken out, were together and we can help each other! Let’s go.” We walk into the strangely quiet cave, glistening with emeralds. As I gaze around in wonder, I hear a quiet yelp. “Whoa, guys, did you hear that?” I say on edge. “What?” They both question. “I guess my ears are more sensitive than yours,” I infer. I guess being an eevee does have its perks. “I heard a noise just a little further down the cave, let’s see what it is!” I run ahead, nearly tripping over my paws. Still need to get used to this, I guess. We dash into a cavern chamber, and halt at... water? “Please help!” Yells a panicked voice. On the other side of the cavern, I see I pair of growlithes. “Th-the cave flooded while we were napping, and we might drown if we swim, since we’re fire types,” a growlithe says. “P-please help us!” “What should we do?” Ryu asks us. “Maybe someone should swim across?” “Ok,” says Pebble, “I volunteer Nico.” “Wait, what?” “Thanks for volunteering so kindly,” jokes Ryu, “Don’t worry, we won’t force you to do it if you dont want to.” “No, it’s ok, I’ll do it,” I say, feeling braver. Without thinking, I plunge into the murky water. Bad idea! I leaped too far, so I’m half way there, but the water is soaking my fur, and I’m sinking! Frantically, I gasp for air, landing my paws on the other side of the cave. “You look like a drowned rat,” laughs one growlithe, “are you ok?” “I-I’m good, but I’m not doing that ag-gain!” I shiver, and shake off the cold water by instinct. “We need t-to find another way back across.” Scanning the cave, I see a huge stalagmite in the center of the cavern. “I have a plan, but Ryu, Pebble, I’m going to need your help.”

Title: Chapter 8

Pebble: I’m surprised that Nico actually took my joke seriously, but I feel kind of bad, he nearly drowned swimming across that gap! He’s safe at least, but we need to find a way to get the growlithe back across. “I have a plan, but Ryu, Pebble, I’m going to need your help.” Nico seems really calm, especially under all this pressure and right after he swam across the stretch of water. “You guys know some long range moves, right?” He asks us. I start panicking, but remember that I have rockruff instincts now. “Oh, y-yeah,” I nervously say. “I can attack long range, but I’m not that great yet.” Ryu says the same thing as me, so at least I’m not the only one not great at attacks (or, in my case, never tried). “So, what I’m going to need us all to do,” Nico begins, “Is to attack that stalactite up there.” He motions to the giant spike hanging above us. “If we can knock the stalagmite off the roof,” “ It will form a bridge across the water!” Ryu finishes. “Nico, you’re a genius!” The riolu smiles at Nico, who just blushes. “Ok, let’s attack it, pebble, do you want to go first?” “Sure, I’ll do my best!” I say. WHAT THE HECK AM I THINKING I don’t even know how to attack! Suddenly, a voice whispers in my head. STAY CALM. TAKE DEEP BREATHS. Without time to think about where it came from, I follow the instructions. CHANNEL YOUR ENERGY TOGETHER, the voice instructs me. THEN UNLEACH A FULL FORCE ATTACK. I close my eyes, and feel my energy collecting, like water in a dam. Finally, I let out a howl and let it out. The floodgates of the dam open, and I send a flurry of rocks at the roof, collapsing the pointed stalagmite. “Watch out, you two!” Nico yells, pushing the two growthies to the back of the cave wall. I hear a loud SPLASH! HMMM... IT SEEMS YOU ARE STONGER THAN I ORIGINALLY THOUGHT. I CAN WORK WITH THIS. The voice seems to fade, but I have no time to wonder where it came from. The growlithes and Nico happily bound across the top of the stalagmite. Ryu seems impressed as well. “Pebble, that was amazing!”

Title: Chapter 9

Ryu: We arrive at the guild with the two fire pups, and are greeted by the guildmaster and a relived arcanine mother. We tell our story and are congratulated for our work, and receive 2000 pd! That’s a lot of money. As I lie in my nest, I think I about what has happened so far. I basically did nothing on our mission. Pebble brought down the stalactite and Nico even swam across the water, how did I help? If I’m going to help more Pokémon, I need to get stronger. Besides, that might help me escape from here eventually, right? Evolving would help a lot... I get to my feet and quietly walk to the training grounds outside. The night breeze tugs on my blue and black fur. Although I am still bipedal, I still need to get used to some parts about being a Pokémon. I hear a rustle in the woods behind me, and out of instinct, summon a long bone staff, glowing blue under the bright moon. “Ah, bone rush,” I am relived to hear the familiar voice of our guild master. “I didn’t know riolu could use that. I guess you are something special” “Master Ampharos!” I spin around to see the smiling face of the leader of the guild, and say, “I didn’t really know that I could untill now. What are you doing out here, this late at night?” “I could ask the same of you,” she smiles. “I do enjoy taking nightly walks, now and then. I assume you’re training?” “Y-yeah,” I admitted. “I-I’ll go back to sleep now.” “No, it’s ok,” she reassures me. “What seems to be the problem?” “I feel like I didn’t do anything useful during our first mission,” I confess. “I though that if I trained more, I could be more useful.” The wise guildmaster seems to ponder something for a minute, then says: “Training does play a part in strength, but from experience, by building bonds with your friends, you will gain more power than you could imagine.” I think about this information for a minute. “Thank you, Guildmaster,” I say. “I’ll get going now.” I trudge sleepily back to the guild building. “Try to sleep,” she laughs. “You’ll need it for tomorrow!” Relived, I step back into my nest. I’m more tired than I think, and fall asleep, dreaming of home, but also the adventures to come.

Title: Chapter 10

Nico: My mind is too full for me to sleep. Ryu is gone, and pebble is tossing and turning again… suspicious. I decide to just sit and think (so basically my life). Ryu seems like the one who wants to prove herself. She seems strong and brave, and good round people, although she seemed overwhelmed when we just joined the guild, possibly because of the number of pokemon? Pebble is outgoing and friendly, but also skittish and nervous. There’s something going on with that rockruff… I can feel it. Maybe it's because it's quiet now that new thoughts are coming to me more easily than ever. I’m thinking too hard, I need to keep up my energy and strength for the adventures to come tomorrow. As I try to clear my head, Ryu walks silently back into the room. I pretend to sleep, but cant help but wonder what happened to her. I let my thoughts return. I wonder about Ryu and Pebble, my ‘friends’ for now. Adventuring with Ryu and Pebble seemed like Déjà vu… but it can’t be that, can it?

Title: Chapter 11

Pebble: I dont usually dream, but I guess something changed here. Another Pokemon ( I think it was a pokemon, but I can't tell, it seems to be glitching) clashed with Arceus. The battle raged above me in the sky. “Stop i can hardly see the battle, the world is in chaos and every type of weather buffets my eyes at once. I cower under a rock, pleading them to stop. “Please, stop fighting!” I yell, but it's no use. Then the ground breaks open beneath my feet, and Arceus catches a glimpse of me as I fall into the void… Gasping, I wake up, startled by the dream. I know I was dreaming, but it seemed so... real. What does it mean? Bored, I grab the explorers bag by Nico, and peer into its folds, looking for a snack so I can gather my thoughts. I grasp a berry with my velvety paw, but a crimson spark catches my eye. What was that? My eyes adjust to the darkness of the bag, and I see… a red ring. Was that there before? I didn't really get a good lock in the bag before… I reach at it, curiously, but start trembling. My paw starts shaking, THIS FELT… wrong. I hear a ethereal voice. GO ON, TOUCH IT. DON'T YOU WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS WORLD? ENDLESS KNOWLEDGE AWAITS, WHY DO YOU WAIT? I try, but a voice stops me. It sounded… right. Better and safer than the other.NOW IS NOT THE TIME. Startled, I shove the bag away. It clunks as it falls out of my nest. What were those voices? The last one sounded familiar… Ah! It was from when I put on the ring. The gears start turning in my head (although I’m not a steel type). I have a couple guesses about the voices, my friends, this world, but decide to not ponder too long about these things ( my friends back home would’ve told me to do the same, and besides, that’s more of Francis’s thing). My mind filled with curiosity, I drift back into a dreamless sleep.

Title: Bonus Chapter

Hello, readers of Souls Adrift! Today is just not my writing day, I’m having a hard time doing so. So instead, I’m going to ask you to help me out! In another bonus chapter, i will be doing a q and a with my ocs! Just ask a question to me, on this forum, in my pp or pm, as a comment to one of my feeds, anywhere! Something like: To Pebble, what is your favourite colour? (Btw the answer is light blue). Please help out, I’m going to need at least 3 questions!

And another thing: On days when I find it hard to write, I like to day a lot, so here I have a pic of Ryu, Nico and Pebble setting off on an adventure! Tap here to see it!

Last thing I want to say: I’d like to make this forum more interactive, so please, if you have any, post some likes, dislikes, wonderings, feedbacks, anything you want about this fan fic on this forum! Heck, even post fan art if you are that dedicated (lol I’m expecting none but oh well).

Title: Chapter 12

Ryu: Today is our day off from guild missions! “Master Ampharos said that we should get to know the Pokémon in Mantyke Town a little more,” Says Pebble. “I think that’s a good idea, It will be really fun!” “Plus, the information we learn might help us on missions.” I added. Nico seemed to ponder this “I don’t know... I’m not the best at meeting new peo- I mean Pokémon.” “Oh come on, Nico!” Laughs Pebble. “Fine, I’ll come.” Nico snaps. “But only if we get something to eat.” “Nico, I swear!” We all start laughing as we strut into town. The sky is a bright blue, splashed with clouds. Bird Pokémon fly overhead as we explore the little seaside village. “Wow, they even have a post office!” Marvels Pebble, gazing wide eyed at the Peliper Post. I nod my head in agreement. How could this have been build all by Pokémon!? Two famiiar birds suddly perch right next (or should I say nest?) to us. “It is pretty amazing,” agreed a voice. I turn around to see a little brown and large tan pair of Pokémon. “Oh, hi Star and Red, nice to see you.” Nico says. “Hi, team Justicepaws!” Red greets us. “This is our part time job.” “We love delivering packages all around the community.” Adds Star. “It makes my day to see smiling Pokémon recive gifts and messages. Well, except for that time I had to deliver a funeral note... anyways, what are you two doing here? Star questions. “Master Ampharos says we should explore the town and get to know more of the residents,” I begin. “It’s actually pretty fun exploring, and the information might help us rescue some Pokémon!” “Well, you better get going!” Red says.” I hear a loud grumble, and turn towards Nico. “Are you really that hungry?” Red giggles. “Well in that case, check out the market place over there.” Red motions to a bustling group of tents nearby. “You can find a snack there.” “Not to mention ladies,” adds star. “Have you seen the vulpix and eevee over there? They’re just-“ Start is cut off with a slap and glare from red. “Honestly, Star! Sorry about that. We should get going! See you!” Red waves at us with a wing, but not after giving Star the look. They both soar off to the top of the post office tower. “Well, that was interesting,” Nico observes. His belly growls like a arcanine once again. “Let’s head to the market, I could use a snack.” We head towards the busy stores, passing the kecleon bazaar and the alakazam psychic booth. Finally, we arrive at the berry stand. Nico eyes the juicy berries, his mouth watering. “Hungry aren’t you?” Laughs a Vulpix. “Wow, how could you possibly know?” Nico asks sarcastically, turning to look at who was speaking. “Hi, I’m Rose!” She laughs. “Oh, you were the one I met a few days ago, right? The one I gave the Tamato Berry to? We never got the chance to introduce our selves.” I glance at Nico, standing frozen, staring at Rose. Strange... (I see...) “O-oh, y-yeah, that was m-me, Nico. Rose giggles, and Pebble and I give each other a knowing smile, trying to hold back laughter. “Rose, stop pestering the customers!” I hear a sigh from the other side of the booth. Another eevee walks past the rows of berries and up to us. “Hello, I’m Vee, how can I help you?” We’d like a few Pecha berries, please.” I say, glancing at Nico, still star-struck. “That will be 60 poké, please!” Asks Vee, giving Rose a glare. We hand over the pd, and thank the two store clerks. After dragging Nico away, we decide to head back to the guild. “Looks like someone has a crush, huh?” I tease Nico. “N-no! I’m just bad at talking to Pokémon, that’s all.” He tries to change the topic. “Man these berries are r-really good, huh?” “Oh come on, Nico, it’s obvious!” Laughs Pebble. “I ship it.” “Don’t worry, we won’t tell, although you’ve definitely made yourself clear!” I promise to Nico, who’s as red as a flareon a fire pit. We take trek back to the guild, greeting new Pokémon along the way. As we step into the guild door, I trip over a foot. “Oof!” I exclaim as I hit the ground. “Oof indeed,” Laughs a voice. I get to my feet to see who it is. “Sorry about that! I’m Lyra!” I look up to see a blue lycanroc, a little embarrassed. “It’s all good!” I say, then curiously ask: “How are you blue? I didn’t know that there were any blue lycanrocs before.” “Well I’m a shiny,” starts Lyra. “I was just always like this.” “Cool!” Pebble exclaims. “Are you a member of the guild? If so, what team are you?” “I am, indeed.” Say Lyra, proudly. “In fact, I run solo.” “Whoa, I though you needed a team to join the guild?” Asks Nico. “Well, I do work with the other teams sometimes, but not to brag, I’m a good fighter and I can be pretty sneaky. The guild master likes to send me on solo missions.” She gave us a toothy grin. “Well, I should go. The guild master wants me to buy some Razz berries for dinner. See ya!” “Bye!” I exclaimed, as she ran out the door and into town.” Exhausted, we headed back to our room. “See, that wasn’t as bad as you though, Nico!” Pebble says to Nico. “Yeah, I guess...” says Nico, still blushing. “Let’s just relax for the rest of the day, we deserve a break.” We plopped into our nests (basically a bed, by the way), and drifted to sleep. What an eventful day!

Q: Ryu, How do you not know how a riolu evolves, but know what Arceus is?

A: Ryu: I though everyone knows what Arceus is? Its the creator pokemon, thats fairly obvious. Even if I dont know things about riolu, Arceus is fairy well known around here ( I think so, right?)


Q: Nico, what do you think about Vulpixes?

A: Nico: That’s pretty specific. Vupixes? They’re ok. They are fire types, so they’re pretty... cool, I should say. We met one in the market place. Her name is Rose- oh, I’m rambling now, aren’t I? So, uh, yeah. *sneaks back into corer.

Ryu from other room: Looks like someone’s in love... :3

Nico: *blushes* No, what the heck do you mean? I’m not in love with Rose! I mean she’s pretty-

Ryu: *laughs. Ok, ok, sure :3

A: Pebble: *Blushes* I dont know. What do you mean? My appearance? My personality? Ill take that as a complement I guess. *smiles an adorable smile*
