Title: Retired Roleplay Characters

Announcement that I dont think anyone will care about as it's about roleplaying

After a longish time, I've decided to retire 2 of my roleplay characters: Tallahassee and Benton

Tallahassee was my first roleplay character ever and started it all for me. However, after the first roleplays I did, I began using her less and less until I reincarnated her into Talla. This in my mind counts as me retiring a character because Tallahassee and Talla are 2 different but similar characters

Benton is a villain I have used very rarely but everytime I used him was better than the last, despite some struggles that came up while portraying him. He is currently being used in APL: Part II so once that ends, he will be fully retired

It was a joy to play them both and I am happy with all of their performances, big and small to an extent

After a few hours of internal debate, I've decided to retire an oddish RP Character of mine: Dylan

Dylan almost didn't come into existence in late 2019 as I was already using a villain in the PH Oscar nominated RP "Pokemon/Hogwarts Crossover". However, I decided to ditch that villain in favor of Dylan and have one of my best performances. And after 1 amazing time using him, 2 so-so times using him, and 2 times I forgot about him mostly, he has left an enduring legacy and us joining the ranks of Talla and Benton

Out of all the roleplay characters of mine that I've decided to retire at one point, these three will hurt the most. As of a decision I made a few months ago but didn't come to terms with until today, the roleplay characters Maddy, Tani, and Talla will be retired.

Tani is probably the least well known out of these three but she is very important to me. When I joined Haven of Beasts over a year ago, she debuted as the shy and kind lover of Maddy. But over time, she has grown into a brave but exhausted leader. She was a joy to play and will be officially retired when Rise of a Warrior ends.

Maddy... where to begin with her, XD. When I first created her, she was a care free teenager with superhuman abilities but after playing her, she began to grow with me. She won me my first PH Oscar, playing her has carried me through difficult times, and when Rise of a Warrior ends, she will get a much deserved break

And now, probably the hardest of all of them. The true "Queen of Evil", Talla. A previous iteration of this character was my first, making Talla my oldest character and my best. As a villain, she stole the show in roleplays such as The Greatest Show, Haven of Beasts, The Kingdoms Three, The Awakening, and finally Rise of a Warrior. Talla's swansong as a character will happen at the end of the untitled sequel to The Kingdoms Three

Title: The Haven of Beast Saga

I woke up the other day kinda feeling like my ego need to be stroked giggity so I decided that I would tell the story of possibly some of the most successful and most well known roleplays ever created, those being the 3 2 roleplays known as The Haven of Beasts Saga (consisting of Haven of Beasts, The Awakening, and in May, Rise of a Warrior)

The Beginning
Basically, when Haven of Beasts was starting, I had no connection to it whatsoever. At the time, I was just coming off of a comeback performance that reinvigorated my spirit for roleplaying. But once I joined, that all changed. Hell, if you look at the plot description, it's so much different from what you actually see in the roleplay itself. Thats because when I joined, I began to talk to RaRaRasputin about how I thought the plot could work and progress which is why it confuses me that RaRa got a story nomination for HoB, whereas should've shared it and she should've been the solo nominee for creating the roleplaying the "Best Roleplay" category. But anyways, once I joined I got a lot of creative control over the roleplay which shifted the roleplay from slow and steady, to pedal to the metal action packed roleplay. Like, the day after it was created, it had 8 pages which for roleplays on PH is alot (20 posts per page). And less than 2 weeks later, we had completed the roleplay and began chapter two of the roleplay.... until it died, XD. To be fair, most people lost interesting the roleplay so we decided to end it there, with one complete chapter and a unfinished one.... that was until the PH Oscar's however

Pokeheroes Oscars
On June 12th, 2020, the PH Oscar's were officially announced and both RaRa and I decided we needed to continue Haven of Beasts. So, a few days before the PH Oscar's took place, at which HoB won 1 of its 4 nominations, The Awakening premiered with the sign ups and a newish cast. However, it couldn't fully gain momentum due to events going on in my personal life that prevented me from finishing the roleplay until December of 2020! But once it finished, we couldn't have been more happy with the results. We were going in with very little idea of how the roleplay would go, but came out with a pretty good story and some amazing performances side note however, playing Benton in that roleplay pushed my limits big time due to personal reasons, from which I'm still trying to recover from... sorta, its highly complicated. But, yet again, after completing the roleplay, we had no clue what the plot could be for the third one. All we had were general ideas but nothing to tie them all together. Luckily, an answer was right under our nose the whole time

Rise of a Warrior
After The Awakening ended, The_Blackguard_Empire came up to me and RaRa and suggested some plot ideas that both me and RaRa liked, which led us to adding Goat to the group so we could determine a plot. And while there were some "heated" arguments mostly between me and Goat due to our highly different personalities and conflicting ideas, we created a general idea for the plot. And while The_Blackguard_Empire left the project not long afterwards, citing private issues as the reason, both me and RaRa will strive to make Rise of a Warrior a worthy sequel to Haven of Beasts and The Awakening as well as an amazing send off to a saga of roleplays that saved my career as a roleplayer.

Title: WTF HAPPENED YESTERDAY??!?!

WARNING: this post is very disturbing so be aware

Yesterday, at about 20:00 site time, the user UserA posted a feed alleging of a former staff member, UserB, past and seemingly recent predatory behavior. In the spoiler below are the screenshots they used in their feed to prove this but keep in mind, they are horribly disgusting and highly disturbing.

As the day went on, many people such as myself shared their support for the victims in #SpeakOut. But also as time went on, no public action by the moderator staff was taken to even reassure people that they were working on it. Instead they locked some people and deleted all feeds with the proof, on the basis of naming and shaming, which caused people to panic because they had no clue what was going on. In addition to this, it caused several misinformed users to stand up for UserB, with one of whom making racist comments in the process. Luckily as of now this issue has been mostly resolved, with UserB being removed from the staff and hopefully locked (as locks dont come into effect until the user comes on again). However this event pointed out key problems in our staffing system.

How the Moderator Staff failed
In my eye, the moderators biggest failure after this bombshell dropped was deleting the feeds with proof and not publicly stating that they were working on it. Over the several hours this took place, at least 2 moderators were on at a time, meaning they had many opportunities to correct their mistakes by locking UserB temporarily until they could figure out what to do or reassuring the community that they were working on it, neither of which they did.

However that wouldn't have been necessary if they had just removed UserB from the site back in 2019. In 2019, several private allegations were made against UserB of predatory behavior. In response, the moderators removed her from the wiki staff and nothing else. However, back in June of 2020, she was readded to the staff for some reason, even tho she continued with her predatory behavior, as one of my friends, codenamed Ganz for the sake of this, told me. They returned in August of 2020 after a several year hiatus and began chatting with UserB. UserB after a while, began making more predatory comments, so this wasn't a one time thing! The staff knew about it but did absolutely nothing to stop it! If you catch a kid stealing from a cookie jar, you dont let the kid have the cookie but push the jar alittle farther back, you send that kid up to their room and throw away the cookies to teach them a lesson!

How can we fix this
As I've stated in the past, both privately and publicly, that the moderator staff are all in the "PH Elite" so while they do do their job, if their best friend is reported for something their job and judgment comes into question. Will they do the right thing or sweep it under the rug? We cant be sure so to combat this the answer is simple, add people who aren't in the PH Elite, however it's not that easy. The mod staff, to their credit, act like adults most of the time when dealing with stuff, whereas many users on site have shown to do the exact opposite, so then you say "Well just add older users, problem solved!" Guess what? It isnt as older users have also show to be terribly immature and the ones that aren't immature, ARE IN THE PH ELITE!!! However, im not saying that all the mods are bad, but I'd be willing to sacrifice some calm moderators for some moderators who aren't in the elite because, if worse comes to worse, they might do the right freaking thing.

Title: My Top 10 Best RP Performances

About 10 months ago, I posted "My Top 5 Favorite Roleplay Preformances" but since then, I've done a few more RP's so I thought I would update that list and add some new and old ones. Note this list will be alot different from my last one because my opinions on some performances may have changed as times gone on. So without further ado, here are my Top 10 Best RP Performances.

Welp, I'm bored and I have nothing else to do so..... time to stroke my ego I guess. Today I'll be counting down my top 5 favorite roleplay performances by.... well, me. I'll be ranking them based on how they were received by my fellow roleplayers and my own personal opinions so... let's start

#10. Talla, The Greatest Show:
This entry is a returning entry from the last list, however in the last list it was my #5 entry, whereas here, it is my #10 solely because my memorys of it arent as fond as my next few entries. None the less, while this wasnt my most memorable roleplay outing, it started my recent roleplaying renaissance. When reading the plot, the first thing that went through my head was, "Ok, how can I make this version of Talla unique." as and then it hit me. I'll have her be an abusive and egotistical older sibling to my protagonist. And the results were very good, so much so that one person who read it said, and I quote "Holy crap that was intense". So ya, this RP performance broke the roleplaying curse that I was stuck in at the time and every performance since has only overshadowed it, hence its #10 placing

#9. Reyna, Our Last Dance:
This character is... very interesting for me. First off, I created the character of Reyna a few months beforehand intending for her to be a one off character in a roleplay I made called "The Longest Trail". However, that roleplay died out so I decided to sideline the character for the time being, using her in only a few roleplays that died out when. However, when I saw the plot for "Our Last Dance", I knew right away that I wanted to use Reyna. In the roleplay, she was a calm and intimidating character who was a prime suspect in the roleplays plot, due to her rather intimidating attitude and her mysterious appearance at the night of the roleplays beginning. But during an interrogation, her calm exterior diminished to reveal a scared and desperate person who had just lost her mother figure. And although she was killed off not long afterwards, her role still goes on in the roleplay as a key figure in its complex plot and her memory lives on as the performance that saved the character from being shelved entirely.

#8. Lucy, After Presentable Liberty (or APL) and APL: Part II
Lucy is another interesting character for me as, throughout the middle of After Presentable Liberty, I put her character off to the side to focus on the development of Maddy, so she was kinda on the back burners throughout that roleplay. But what made her really shine was her character in APL: Part II. Due to events at the end of APL: Part II's predecessor, Lucy becomes hell bent on revenge for the loved one she lost, while simultaneously grieving for her loved ones and trying to protect the others she loves from harm as well. It's a difficult tightrope to walk on, but so far I believe I've nailed it.

#7. Benton, The Awakening
This character was probably my most challenging character to play. Mainly because at the time of playing him, I was dealing with a crap ton of personal issues some of which were brought on because of this performance. Yet, I feel as though this character should be here soully because he was unique from my other performances of Benton as, while he was still devilishly smart, he was meant to be hated, gettingwhst he deserved at the end of the RPas well. Although he was meant to be a side villain to the main villain, he held his own amongst the ensemble cast of characters in The Awakening, so much so it won the PH Oscar (Best Supporting Villain) but I declined for personal reasons.

#6. Maddy, The Beasts Trilogy
As of writing this on March 31st, 2021, Rise of a Warrior has yet to have debuted so I wont be including that in this list until later on. However, Maddy in her own right in this roleplay, is amazing. She's fierce and willing to stand up for others and isn't afraid of doing the right thing. And although she has yet to break the mold, I gleefully await when she does

#5. Doctor Benton, After Presentable Liberty (or APL) and APL: Part II / A New Life
I decided to make this entry a dual entry because in APL and A New Life, they are basically the same character despite APL's Benton being somewhat more developed than A New Lifes Benton. This character shattered the mold for villains I used back when he first debuted. His calm and calculating nature lead him to be a threat even when he wasn't around. And in APL: Part II, he stole the show with his devilish gaze and evil mannerisms. And although he will be retired once APL: Part II ends, he sure did leave a lasting legacy on my roleplaying resume and career.

#4. Tallahassee, Abnormal Apocolypse
I know! Shocking that my #2 performance from last time is #4 this time! However there is a reason for that.... I hate looking back at the cringyness of my old roleplaying self, XD. Nevertheless, this is the performance that has defined my career since Day 1 so it'll always hold a special place in my heart

#3. Dylan, Pokemon/Hogwarts Crossover
Earlier I said Benton broke the mold for my villains, but this character created a new one. This devilishly complex character was almost not created, but the previous villain of the roleplay (played by me) wasnt cutting it so I ditched him in favor of Dylan which was 100% the right choice. A tortured soul trapped between his family and the life he was stuck with that he desperately tried to rid himself of until it was too late, this character balanced the thin line between likeable and bad while as the roleplay progressed, he began to grow to cope with what he has done and tries to make up for it in any way possible. It truly was a master class of a performance that showed everything I was capable of.

#2. Maddy, After Presentable Liberty (or APL) and APL: Part II
This was and still is my greatest performance as a hero. As Maddy, I played a hero who tries to save the ones she loves while an unknown disease begins to rip her apart from the inside out. She was funny, she was heroic, and she was tragic, all traits that won her the PH Oscar for Best Supporting Roleplayer. And in the sequel, despite her brief appearances, she commands every scene she's in and brings back so many memories that I love.

#1. Talla, The Beasts Trilogy
In this PH Oscar winning role, I played the bloodthirsty warlord known as Talla. Her ruthless methods and incredible fighting skills made her widely known throughout the world the roleplay takes place in, much like how her portrayal shocked the cast of Haven of Beasts and all who read HoB. And in The Awakening, despite her brief appearances, she stole the show and struck fear into the characters and their roleplayers (specifically RaRaRasputin, XD). It showed everything I could give and to date is my most amazing performance.

Title: PH Oscar's Summary (2021)

Background

Much like last year, the PH Times co-collaborated with LordSamton to create the PH Oscars, however this year the Mega Club stepped away from the project due to inactivity. Suvichan was brought on as well to co-run the Oscars. On January 20th, 2021, LordSamton announced the addition of several new categories for Fanfictions (Best Written Character, Best Original Fanfiction, Best Adapted Fanfiction, and Most Comedic Scene) and Roleplays (Best Written Scene, Best Supporting Villain, Best Ensemble Cast Performance, and Best Written Cinematography which was later abolished). February 4th, 2021, Wildfyre was brought on as host and fully announced in a public feed on April 10th. Like last year, the nominee’s were picked by an anonymous body of voters, all of which were announced on May 16th, 2021.

For roleplays, Kingdom of Aeraya led the roleplay nominations with 10 making it the most nominated roleplay to date, with Below the Clouds following behind with 7.
For fanfictions, Star Wars by RoyalGecko led the nominee’s with 3.

The show took place on May 28th, 2021 and, like last year, this is just a shorter summary of the show along with fun tidbits. It is NOT a substitute for the actual event which is here. That said, here are the summaries.

Summary of the Event (FF)

The first category presented was Most Dark Scene, which was presented by Iridecent_Paradox.
The nominee’s were: MAMA! A pokemon creepypasta by Sun_ and Plus, The How To Series (Feat. William Afton) by Electris, and Voodoo Doctor: Creepypasta by ~Shards~. The Oscar went to Sun_ and Plus for MAMA!, making them the first duo to win a PH Oscar. For both of them, it was Sun_'s first PH Oscar and 3rd nomination while it was Plus's first PH Oscar and 5th nomination.

The next category was Most Dramatic Scene which was presented by shockwave65i on behalf of Taavi.
The nominee’s were: Atropa Belladona by ZeeTheBee, Star Wars by RoyalGecko, and Underverse by Papyrus_The_Skelleton. The Oscar went to RoyalGecko for Star Wars! This was RoyalGecko's first PH Oscar for Fanfictions and 3rd overall out of 10 nominations!

The next category presented was Most Comedic Scene which was presented by SensGirl25.
The nominee’s were: Cooking With Sherry by Plus, The How To Series (Feat. William Afton) by Electris, and Unlikely Bond by Hidebehind. The Oscar went to Electris for The How to Series. This was their first Oscar and 3rd nomination

The next category was Most Creative which was presented by Darkheart.
The nominee’s were: Angel of Shadows by Wildfyre making her the first person to be a host and a nominee in the same show, Ballad of the Brave by LucarioLover99, and RoyalGecko’s Guide to NPC’s by RoyalGecko and CatLady. The Oscar went to RoyalGecko and CatLady for RoyalGecko's Guide to NPC's. This was RoyalGecko's 4th Oscar and 10th Nomination and CatLady's first Oscar and nomination, making her the first staff member to win a PH Oscar

The next categories were Best Original Fanfiction and Best Adapted Fanfiction which were presented by Sterg.
For Best Original Fanfiction, the nominee’s were: Angel of Shadows by Wildfyre, Atropa Belladona by ZeeTheBee, Darkness United by Random~Mew, and Kingdom of Luminia by YungRover. The Oscar went to Atropa Belladona by ZeeTheBee
For Best Adapted Fanfiction, the nominee’s were: Calamity In Reality by ErrorTheDragon, Journey Beyond The Horizon by Icefox, Persecuting Euphoria by YungRover, and Star Wars by RoyalGecko. The Oscar went to Persecuting Euphoria by YungRover! It was their first PH Oscar and 8th nomination

The next category was Best Short Story which was presented by XxIIIBlossomxX.
The nominee’s were: Define: Me by Mal_, DOOM: The Slayers Prize by The_Blackguard_Empire, If Anyone is Interested to Know About Me… by Mystic_Kyuba, MAMA! A pokemon creepypasta by Sun_ and Plus, and Wolves of Galar by LucarioLover99. The Oscar went to Wolves of Galar by LucarioLover99! It was their 2nd Oscar and 10th nomination!

The final category before the transition to roleplays was Best Written Character which was presented by Shinigamii.
The nominee’s were: Calamity in Calamity in Reality by ErrorTheDragon, Maria in A Darkness United by Random~Mew, Moon in A Fresh Breeze by Koiboi, Skye in Skye the Shaymin by ~Lolbit~, and William Afton in The How To Series by Electris. The Oscar went to ErrorTheDragon for Calamity in Calamity in Reality! This was their first Oscar out of 3 nominations and made them the first winner of the category!

The next category was Best Supporting Villain and it was presented by LordSamton.
The nominees were: Hunterz~Wolf in Queen of Roses, Koiboi in Academy for Nefarious Villains, RoyalGecko in The Awakening, and Uzumaki in The Kingdoms Three. The Oscar went to RoyalGecko in The Awakening! It was their 5th Oscar and 10th nomination.

The next category was Best Written Scene and it was presented by Random~Mew. The nominees were Corviknight for Queen of Roses, The_Blackguard_Empire for The Awakening, Immortes for House of Cards, Iridescent_Paradox for Our Last Dance, and RaRaRasputin for House of Cards. The Oscar went to Immortes for House of Cards! It was their first Oscar and nomination.

The next category was Best Up and Comer which was presented by Zhongli.
The nominees were: -Fog in Kingdom of Aeraya, Hunterz~Wolf in Queen of Roses, RainRipple in Just Us, ~Shards~ in Kingdom of Aeraya, -Spyder in Below the Clouds, and uh123456789 in Below the Clouds. The Oscar went to -Spyder in Below the Clouds! This was her first Oscar and nomination, but this also made her the first roleplayer to win a PH Oscar for portraying a pokemon!

The next category was Best Supporting Roleplayer which was presented by RoyalGecko.
The nominees were: Eiji in Kingdom of Aeraya, Floofty in The Viper Pit, -Fog in Kingdom of Aeraya, LucarioLover99 in Below the Clouds, Mal_ in The Viper Pit, and finally ~Shards~ in Kingdom of Aeraya. The Oscar went to ~Shards~ in Kingdom of Aeraya! This was her first Oscar and third nomination!

The next category was Best Adapted Story which was presented by -Loki-.
The nominees were: The Awakening by RaRaRasputin and RoyalGecko, Below The Clouds by YungRover, Colliding Worlds by Plus, Cracked by Klee, and Shlapenka by Grietine. The Oscar went to The Awakening by RaRaRasputin and RoyalGecko! It was RaRaRasputin's first Oscar and 6th nomination while it was RoyalGecko's 6th Oscar and 10th nomination

The next category was Best Original Story which was presented by ~Shards~.
The nominees were: Hilketa High School by Kamini, Kingdom of Aeraya by Popplio, The Kingdoms Three by TGGAkane, Our Last Dance yesnt, and The Viper Pit by LucarioLover99. The Oscar went to The Viper Pit by LucarioLover99! This was their 3rd Oscar and 10th nomination

The next category presented was Best Pokemon Roleplay which was presented by Yams.
The nominees were: Bamba Forest by Grietine, Below the Clouds by YungRover, The Pokemon Battle School by Random~Mew, Pokemon Pirates: Race Against Time by Sun_ and Hidebehind, and Vincula Amoris: Saphyria by ShadeKinoSoul. The Oscar went to Below the Clouds by YungRover! It was their 2nd Oscar and 8th nomination

The next category was Best Villain which was presented by RoyalGecko.
The nominees were: Jaeger in Hilketa High School, Mal_ in Academy for Nefarious Villains, Plus in Collided Worlds, and Tsukoyomi in Academy for Nefarious Villains. The Oscar went to Tsukoyomi in Academy for Nefarious Villains! This was their first Oscar and nomination, making them the oldest registered user on PH to ever win a PH Oscar (at 7 years, 2 months, and 19 days old)

The final category presented before "Best Fanfiction" and "Best Roleplay" was Best Roleplayer which was presented by TGGAkane.
The nominees were: -Ankh in Kingdom of Aeraya, ChikoritaMining in Pokemon Battle School, LucarioLover99 in The Viper Pit, Waffle in Kingdom of Aeraya, and finally Zhongli in Cracked. The Oscar went to ChikoritaMining for Pokemon Battle School! It was their first PH Oscar and nomination

At the end of the event, Wildfyre went up one last time to announce the winners of the events biggest awards: Best Fanfiction and Best Roleplay

For Fanfictions, the nominees were: Calamity in Reality by ErrorTheDragon, A Darkness United by Random~Mew, Kingdom of Luminia by YungRover, Star Wars by RoyalGecko, and Wolves of Galar by LucarioLover99. The Oscar went to Star Wars by RoyalGecko, making it her the most awarded person ever with 7 awards and 10 nominations although 2 of which I shouldn't have won if we are being honest!

Title: My First SM Hunt

April 13th, 2021 - June 21st, 2021



On June 21st, 2021 after over 2 months of hunting, my SM Aggie Boo was hatched. Not only was it named after my friend Agata, BUT days before she provided me gems that I used to get further into my hunt, which in turn the SM hatched from the gems she provided, BUT SHE ALSO HATCHED THE DAMN THING!!!

Below is my log for all the shinys and mega ables I hatched, which was a whopping total of 84 shiny's and 107 mega ables!! That said, lets get into that long list

Title: How I Became PH's Greatest Capitalist

So one day (August 5th 2022) I was minding my own buisness, when I got an egg from the daycare. I was 50 something eggs deep in a shiny hunt, who's breeding pair can best be summed up by how much breeding desire panda's have so i came up with a plan

Only one problem however, I didnt have 50k! Something about buying nuggets priced at 1.8k to sell for 1.85k at a later date made me go bankrupt. I needed a plan so I turned to the best way to make money: subtly begging friends for money.

So when that didnt work I turned to the second most effective method for me at the time: selling berries at the item shop. One problem though, while I was gone they became a nonsellable item. I was screwed, not only did i not have 50k but i didnt have a method to make more money so I did what any reasonable person would do:

All berries moved from Berry Bag => Item Bag reset back to Level 1. However, the higher your berry's level is, the more berries you receive when transferring it to your item bag. For example, transferring one Berry at Level 1 gives you 1 berry, whereas transferring one Berry at Level 20 gives you 4 berries.

Upon learning this well kept secret I knew: I had just broken the game. And like any discovery, I decided to take to the feeds to brag about my discovery and officially claim my title as the "Capitalist Overlord":

Maybe other users came to me and told me they had been doing it for months, and sure I had been gone for several months so those users had mostlikely farmed millions of berries by now, but I was the one who truely discovered it as I was the FIRST to claim discovering this secret, thus making me Pokeheroes GREATEST Capitalist...... oh and also the egg didnt end up hatching to be a shiny 😂🤣😭

Title: How I Became PH's Smartest Human

Making connections on Pokeheroes is great, you find people who have a love for the same thing you do and grow to love eachother because of it, until one of them blocks you for something you didnt even do but because of that thing they blocked you for, they are now supposably in a better position in their real life but still wont unblock you. Ya know, friendship!

But anyways, one thing people on PH love to do with their friends is post links to their profiles, on their profiles, which is a cute idea until the friend changes their username, then that link no longer works because, ya know.. friendship!

The other day I made a Hall of Fame for my pokemon that have helped me become a better person or become just something I really adore... and i also have some friends in it, but anyways, some of the people I put their tend to change their usernames alot which sucks cus I gotta keep updating it because they can't decide on their own name. Ya know.... FRIENDSHIP!

But yesterday I realized something. I dont have to link my friends profile DIRECTLY, what I can do is link my friends starter pokemon.... allow me to explain

This is a linked BBCode to my profile, as you can see, part of the URL is my username so as long as my username is RoyalGecko, it will take you to my profile. But if I change my username to, say, "QueenOfVillains", this link is no longer valid because it doesnt change the name from RoyalGecko to QueenOfVillains.

BUT

By linking a person's pokemon, the pokemon has a neverending, forever changing link to your profile. So you may be asking "why your starter, couldn't it just be any pokemon" to which I say... shut up. Yes it could be just any old pokemon but in addition to all but 1 of your pokemon being pokemon you cant release (assuking no pokemon are in trades, at rumble, or in a battle team for the terrible system PH has for battling), in addition to your starter can't be traded.

And yes, while I could just go to my friends and say "Hey, give me one of your pokemon so I always have a connection to you", don't you see how many scams one person can pull off with that???..... actually i cpuld do that... But ya so I'm officially the smartest person on PH. The Day: August 1st, 2022. The Time: 7:32 PST. The Substance: High off of life.

After a few days of being back after a hiatus that started before I even left, I found my new life calling: being confused by new game mechanics. Like seriously, why must the Azure Flute be so useful and useless all at once, it costs much more then the celestia flute despite only needing like, 3 other items to craft, but everyone being the busy bee's they are just buy readily made azure flute or the pokemon that were evolved from azure flute to complete their pokedexs and or sell for 600k at the AH, but I was determined to be different. I was determined to save money.... because I'm cheap 🤓.

While browsing the site I realized the BHC was going on so I decided to join for some good old fun but then I realized that the Emera Square is where you can buy Celestia Flutes for just 3k Festival Points, so sidenote, ahem.... WHY ARE THEY SO EXPENSIVE??! I thought to myself "3k festival points is nothing, I can make that in a few days and make free money, especially since I had 2k already". But let me tell you, I was mistaken because it took me half the week to even get to 3k and by that point I was like "this is going to take forever!"

But I digress because by the point I had bought the flute, I was already committed to being an elite bug catcher. I spent countless hours trying and retrying the contest, getting Illumissee's and Volbeats every too seconds, pretty soon I began to believe Larvesta and Shedinja never existed. But then, he appeared. After countless hours of genociding every Illumissee, Ledyba, and Volbeat I saw, I had finally gotten and before long, it happened:

But anyways the moral here is pretty clear..... just buy Azure Flutes from the GTS, Item Market, or really anywhere else, its more expensive but its too much of a hassle to make it yourself

Title: How I Became PH's Most Coincidental Personfinder

Plushies have always been great to me, since the gem update I find myself always getting lucky with dragon gems and other valuable ones, however for a solid 2 weeks I spent thousands of DP on plushies and didnt get a single dragon gem. In an effort to make money, I've been trying tirelessly to break my curse. So I came up with a new speed run strategy, save up to 100 DP then send out a Mega Charizard Plushie to a random user as thats the fastest option to click when you arent sending it directly to a user.

Its a fun method to use especially if you're like me and trying to find users you didnt know existed, but its even funnier when you randomly stumble upon that user because that can definitely lead to fun interactions or in most cases when your username is about a emperialistic lizard and your social skills on a scale of 1-10 is between discord mod and reddit user but anyways!

Many hours ago (7-8 from when im writing this), I sent out a random plushie and when I saw the username it looked new so I took a mental post it note of the users username but like all other post it notes i make, I put in my pocket, accidentally crumpled it up under my wallet and forgot about it.

However while stalking the notification wall for people asking questions or people being stupid, I saw a feed that when I read, I laughed so I hearted it and clicked on the users name to see who they were and while looking at their profile, I learned that not only according to them they were the 69th user on site, but they were also a recipient of the random plushie I sent out today... so ya know... coincidences

Title: How I Became PH's Greatest Psychic

People have always questioned how smart I am to which I just say... ya kinda right, but thats not the point. I have always had psychic powers, ever since I was a child for example, when I once stole a cookie from the cookie jar, I predicted I would be caught and behold, when my mom turned around and saw me, the jig was up.

More recently on PH, about a two and a half years ago, I began using my powealrs to predict when my shinys would hatch and sometimes it was right, other times I was still right, the shiny just didnt hatch.

But anyways, 2 and a half years ago I joined a PH meme page here and I began making fun of my good friend at the time, a person with the username "absol~girl" but who is now named Taavi.

The main premise of the jokes was that for around 2 or 3 years at the time, they had been SM hunting Absol and had found 0 SM's.... unlucky

The jokes were relentless, all hysterical, all good with Taavi, everything was fine and the jokes would stay relevant until Taavi hatched their SM.... which they eventually did but still

In the process of making fun of my friend, I made this joke which was funny but complex cus I have horrible english skills, however little did I know that my psychic powers were causing me to make that meme as alittle over 2 years later, Rice hatched twin SM's.... so congrats to them

I take all the credit however for them finding the twins though as my powers predicted and caused it to happen.

Title: Gecko Reviews: The Fun Fair

After being gone for almost a year and returning, I expected fireworks and an event in my honor but to my surprise there was none.. for about a month. The Fun Fair was released alittle over a month after I returner and when it was first released, I probably brashly called it "a massive success" and "the best event in PH's history". While this was obviously veru brash of me to say less then 30 minutes after the events releases, after about 10 days of it as of me writing this, I have to say..... its kinda just ok. Allow me to explain why:

After you do the maze, the ducklett fishing, the wingull game, and the applebobbing in the first hour or so, you have to wait maybe 15 minutes before you can fish again.... then another 15 before you can fish and do the wingull... then another 15 minutes before you can fish.... you get the jist.

Now while that timer isnt a huge deal, whats bad is that after maybe 15 or 16 times of fishing and/or wingulling, the time before you can do it again begins to go up, which is almost a death sentence for the wingull game (a nearly guaranteed 15 tickets every time you do it) but not too bad for fishing because you can just interact to lower your time right?? Wellllll, bad news, while it doesnt seem to have been officially announced, from what ive noticed, the more times you do the fishing, the less tickets you are able to obtain (note, this may not be accurate but from what I've noticed im my own experience, this is what happens).

Now in addition to all of this, you may have noticed there are only 4 things u can do at the fair. This leads to it becoming really repeatative... and really boring after like, 10 days. Its the main problem that the Ducklett game for instance suffers from because interacting is very repeatative after like, 300 and you need upwards of 1k Interactions to bring the timer down even 15 minutes (and if you aren't using multiple tabs or multiple devices to do this, 1k interactions usually takes 5-7 minutes anyways).

Now again, I should reiterate, this event is by no means a bad event. It is a pretty fun idea for new content with room for it to grow. This is the first time its ever been done on the site I fully expect it to be rough and I fully expect in the future for there to be more content, however at the moment, the events just ok at best so its a 6/10 for me.

Guys, we've done it. We've achieved nirvana. We've reached the coveted, trainerlevel 70.... i know, bask in my glory

Last year when I left Pokeheroes I was just barely shy of level 65 and within the span of less then 3 and a half months, I have achieved something no user has ever done in the history of PH which might officially make me the greatest user to ever grace this site.

Achieving Trainerlevel 70 on October 24th, 2022..... it is a day I will live in infamy as as far as I am aware, no other user has reached level 70 on that exact day so ya, worship me peasents.
