An alarm sounds, forcing Cam to awaken. She sighs, not too eager to
start a new day. She tries to get at least fourteen hours of sleep
so her energy can be regained. She feels stronger, even though her
arms were still numb. She moves soundlessly to her closet, changing
and grabbing a small bag. She fills it with her lunch before she
leaves. It's a long walk to where the assassins live, but Cam
doesn't mind, it gives her time to think. She hopes today, for
once, she won't have to use her healing powers, but that never
happens
‘Hidden’ not too far south of the castle, was the Hawks Inn - a
pitstop for those who happen to stumble across it. However, it was
most commonly visited by old acquaintances of its owner, an
ex-assassin. Its ground and first floor dedicated to rental
bedrooms, and a secret cellar which was a place for drinking,
gambling and alchemy for those the owner trusted.
Sparrow, the innkeeper’s daughter, found herself staring out into
the paddock behind the inn. After a so far uneventful day, the
brunette had come outside deciding to visit her old faithful:
Rouge, a chestnut coloured mare, just a few years younger than
Sparrow herself. Upon seeing her owner arrive, the horse stops
grazing and trots over to the female at the fence, who then
proceeds to provide the animal with her demanded scratches.
Finally, Cam makes it where the assassins live. Her usual bored
gaze fills with fake happiness. She surveys the area, lookng for
any possible injured persons. If she finds none she'll sit around
all day waiting for her call
"Got it!" Ty vanished and scouted the mountain range. He didnt see
much, but he did feel a spot that seemed colder than the rest.
Looking at the camp everyone set up, it was about a few stones'
throws away.
(For all the new people who have joined, The assassins are on a
mountain and they are about to enter Idia’s Range. It’s the home of
Cygna, The swordsman who wields the Ice blade Serafina. The king
sent them. Look at some of our first posts to get the info :3)
Duncan blinked finally noticing the new members before rubbing his
eyes. "Hey Ethan, when did all of these people get here? Have I
been too drunk to notice?"
Avian was breathing heavily, light headed from the lack of oxygen
higher up. He was more used to being in towns and villages, not up
on a mountain where the air was thinner and colder.
Hey, Red here! Just wanted to let you know that I would love to be
your friend! All I ask is for a bit of respect and you're set! My Humble Art Shop
(Okay) Cam walks around, noticing a huge chunk of assassims were
gone, she slaps her forehead, mentally screaming in irritation.
"That was today!?" She asks outloud, remembering she was supposed
to join them in an attack. She looks towards the path she was
supposed to take. "Hopefully it isn't too late" she mutters, racing
off
Kimaru looked to see Avian struggling. He lifted his hand towards
Avian and he hardened some air to form a invisible bubble around
Avian’s head. This bubble would trap air and suck it in so he could
breathe. “Does this help?” He asked Avian.
