Thought this would be a nice little discussion - what was the first shiny you ever found naturally in-game? (Asking about random encounters, but if you were hunting for it feel free to say so anyway! And no, the red gyarados doesn't count).

Mine personally was a shiny furret (big secret, right?) in pokemon X

Shiny furret is so cute ^^ I love the color scheme they chose for them.

My first random encounter shiny was psyduck in pearl, I found them in the great marsh. I wasn't trying to hunt there, so the sparkles surprised me quite a bit lol I didn't catch the little blue duck unfortunately, they ran away before I could throw another safari ball x_x

My first shiny was a ghastly caught in gen 1 when I was a kid. I didn't know it was a shiny though until I traded it over to my sister's gen 2 game where we thought it looked a bit weird :D

My first shiny was a voltorb in Pokemon saphire. I found it in the team aqua hideout after i talked to a pokeball

First shiny... was a Random Encounter shiny Tentacool in Pokémon Emerald. I thought it looked weird being all green, and only later on realized that it was an intentional in-game thing! The only ever random I found other than that was Graveler in Platinum. Again kinda odd-looking in brown...

My first shiny is a female Eevee that I hatched here.

I've been playing all the games since Diamond, and have never encountered/bred a shiny, the one's that I have are all traded to me, except for this girl!

My first ever shiny was a female caterpie in the Ilex Forest after getting cut from the Farfetch'd dude in Pokemon Gold :D She was my main tank as a Butterfree when we got to Red! <3

I'm a firm believer of give a plush send a plush :3 <3

My first shiny was a male Girafarig in pokemon Silver by the lake of rage! I was so surprised when I saw the sparkles and the blue mane <3

(Though my favorite will always be Keeta, the second shiny I ever got in game, my beautiful male wurmple who turned into a stunning Beautifly)

Don't be fooled by my femine looks, i am very much a boy~ <3

my very first shiny was from a wondertrade and obviously hacked
but my first in game pokemon that i physically caught was a seedot! her name is chestnut :^)

The first shiny I encountered was a shiny Fearow on Pokemon Diamond, that I unfortunately didn't capture.

My first caught shiny was a shiny Gurdurr in Pokemon Black. I even still have it (though it is in my copy of Moon) and is now a Conkeldurr.

I promise to do all in my power to see us through this safely

I dont remember exactly wich was but im sure it was wepinbell (random horde) or beartic (first safari), I know is one of them because I remember I was about to kill them

Not gonna lie,i already played all official games(100% the story,etc.) and in all of them,i didn't find a single random shiny ;w;

But if im allowed to count unofficial games,i got a shiny Shuckle in Pixelmon(Minecraft+Pokemon)
and in another unofficial pokemon game*which was a shiny rattata* yey i guess xD

My first shiny ever was a shiny starly in pokemon diamond on Route 203, 2 mins after my older brother got his first shiny (which also was a starly) on that same route :D
