Friendlist filtering and increased friend capacity
Forum-Index → Suggestions → Friendlist filtering and increased friend capacityBe able to filter/hide users who have added you but aren't actually your friend (people you haven't added back or unfriended that still have you added). This will remove a lot of clutter and make for a better viewing experience (especially for us bigger users here). Whole point is to be able to view your friendslist and see only users that are actually your friend, and where there's a mutual relationship with them.
Friendlist capacity increased from 750 -> x
Just something a lot bigger at least, because soon I'll have to clear out a lot of inactives that will end up as users who have added me, that I haven't added back (which will create clutter of course and be hell to look at and go through).
Obviously, I could personally just use a simple script for filtering with suggestion 1 (which is what I currently do), but it would obviously be nice as a feature for everyone to have here. As for increasing the limit, it's not really in my best interest to go removing people (even inactives) and like to have anyone add me, and well I don't see the point of a 750 limit when there's support for a lot more than that.
Don't know if any of this has been suggested, can't be bothered to check.
I totally support this idea. I have more than 2000 friends and many of those are inactives or have left PH.
I would suggest a option that would remove all the friends in your friendlist who haven't been online for like 6 months or 1 year.
P.S. When the removed friends log in again maybe it can be programmed as a notification saying the person has been online again and so do you want to friend them again.

As you can see, it's a lot more clean and simple now, and already a lot less clutter to deal with.
Took this suggestion and done an implementation of it as you can see above. The time is nothing super precise, but I think how it looks is pretty good with what I've done. The "Last Online" will only be showing for your friends (where both of you have you added each other). I think this is fine (of course with keeping the not showing last action in Contact Panel in mind).
You can also click those 2 arrows next to "Last Online" to sort your friends from most to least active in ascending/descending order as so:
Can see how the arrow changed, and how it sorts accordingly.
I was thinking for the "Users who have added you" section, there would be a way to show/hide users. I do have something good in mind for that, but next post/edit I do I'll likely be presenting that. Really cool what I have in mind currently for that.
More to come.
