Does the rarity of an egg affect the amount of trainer points earned when adopted?

As I understand it, adopting a pokemon or an egg always earns you the same amount of trainerpoints. However, when you hatch an egg, you get a different amount of trainerpoints based on the egg's rarity.

So, when simplified, the answer is yes I suppose.
