I was Google searching some of the warlords Leaders from the game known as Pokemon Conquest. then I found these which could be the inspiration for the characters. the following is from the games Samurai Warriors. Tell me how you think of the list and the list goes from conquest character to samurai warrior character. warning there is some mature content so be mature about it please.

Note: I am not saying these are in anyway exactly alike or they were directly copied from these I am saying that i found it very cool that they look similar to the samurai game

Actually, I think that's because Pokemon Conquest is a crossover between two different games, allowing artwork from the other company to be in it. From what Bulbapedia says here, Nintendo teamed up with the company behind Nobunaga's Ambition, who also created Samurai Warriors, and used character designs from Samurai Warriors 3 for Pokemon Conquest. (If I'm reading all that correctly.) But it's really cool seeing the characters in their original form! :D
