Is it okay if it has grammar mistakes? If its points off, can I just resend it in the same post?

People often think the PH sprites are bland. Do they shade? Well, yes they do. You'll be surprised how much care is taken for these sprites.

Its okay if there are a few grammar mistakes, if you find out that you have re-edit your story and needed to fix certain things grammar-wise and such, you are welcome to resubmit it and just let me know to disregard your first entry.

Hmm. I'd be tempted to join, but my brain is completely blank.

My English isn't bad though, if anyone wants to have someone look at theirs before submitting, I'm free. Professional beta-reader here.

Can we invent our own stories?
Also can we use different expressions or certain words in other language like mix a sentenc with english and spanish words?

yes you are creating your own stories for this contest.

If you want you could add in those words but make sure in () next to the word to translate the spanish word to english, just so we know that is being said. Translated words won't count against your word count.

Yes you can as long as the main character/protagonist is a resident of Emera Town.

There actually hasn't been any backstory's established for the characters of Emera Town. So if you would like to create your own backstory for them that would be okay.
