"Thanks, Prof! And Marla!" Erika quickly texted Marla, finding it easier to do that than to physically give her the number. "I'm ready when everyone else is. Right Scout?"

“Wanna trade numbers?” Amber offered, holding her new dex up. “Just in case something happens.” She stumbled over the last part, brown eyes lightening up a bit when the other girl had responded.

Nova chuffed a greeting out to Roxy, flicking her ears back a bit.

"Twenty six young," Erika smirked, standing up. "I'm just gonna go change my shirt. Because I really am going to get hypothermia if I stay out there for too long." She sighed, running out of the lab. "Thanks again! I'll meet you guys in Nimfuu!"

Lucius ignored Professor Pine's reply and picked up Yuumei to place her on his head. He took no time to stall and immediately walked out without communicating with the others. Why are they all girls? Am I the only guy? Even my Shinx is female, how does this happen to me? he thought, panicking in his head. Lucius looked at the map for Nimfuu and got lost in his own little world again, inspecting everything around him for something noteworthy or peculiar.

Nicoline took a few steps back not wanting to get involved between the professor and the boy. She let out a sigh of relief realising the talkative girl hadn't pushed her about the number. "oh no" Nico mumbeled under her breath remembering the path to Nimfuu would be filled with bug pokémon. Looking at Ronno she gave him a confident nod, it wouldn't be easy but they would make it through. "I-I'll be leaving then" Nico squeaked quietley before she exited the lab, Deerling following close behind.

(I'll head to sleep now, it is 2 am where I live so. I'll probably fall behind alot rip)

Erika turned and caught it quickly before it hit the ground. "I'm not letting you go coat-less throughout this journey, dude. Just take it. I live in this town, anyway, and this won't take very long." She insisted, going back over to Marla.

Amber grinned to herself and accepted the dex, pressing a few buttons and glancing at her own dex every now and then to make sure she was putting the right contact in. “Okay! Here!” She beamed, handing Hex hers back after adding the other girl’s contact to her own dex. “There we go!” She cheered, bouncing on her heels. “Okay! Have a safe trip over!”

Nova blinked, probably surprised before barking the greeting back, fluffy tail whipping around happily.

Lucius was so absorbed into the environment and world around him that he forgot he should've watched his step. While looking at a tree, he tripped on something and fell onto the snow, his camera falling out of his hands while Yuumei landed right on his back. "Shinx?" Yuumei tilted her head and poked his head. Lucius groaned and stayed on the ground for a while, even though it was cold. "Scatterbug..." a random pokemon said, poking at Lucius's camera.

Yuumei locked eyes with the Scatterbug, the two staring at each other until the Scatterbug scattered away with Lucius's camera. "Shinx, Shinx!" Yuumei called after it and ran after the other pokemon. "Yuumei!" Lucius called after Yuumei but she didn't come back. What am I going to do... he thought.

Nico opened her map studying the available paths. She made up a plan in her mind and once she felt sure she started to walk towards the path to Nimfuu town.

(Ah sorry, I just assumed due to the bug type gym being there. Maybe adding a description on what types of pokemon are common on the routes would help to prevent misunderstandings like this in the future)
((Now I will really head to bed though lol))

"Alright. Thanks," Erika nodded, blinking. She turned and ran down a road before quickly swinging into a house.

"Why are you heeere."

"Screw off, Levi. I have to change my shirt because you spilled water all over me!" Erika snapped at her little brother who paused the game he was playing just to give her that lovely greeting.

"You and your new pooch are going to freeze out regardless of what I spill on you," Levi fired right back. "I'm never going to start my journey. I wanna go back to Hoenn with dad to study."

"As long as you're far away from here!" Erika called. Levii huffed as Erika's door slammed. "Ignore him, Scout, we won't freeze. I'll keep you nice and warm, okay?"

Scout whined quietly, jumping onto her neatly made bed. He covered his eyes as Erika quickly changed her shirt into a dry one. "Alright, now we're starting for real. Let's go."

She stepped back out of her room. "Dad's gonna want to see you this weekend."

"I'll call him later. I don't feel like traveling across the region to get to his house," Erika sighed, putting her coat back on and holding Marla's in one hand. She carefully lifted Scout off the ground and put him onto her shoulder. She stepped out of the door without another word.

She ran back to Marla. "Sorry, my brother was being pissy. Thanks for the jacket." Erika handed back Marla her coat.

Lucius groaned and picked up the stuff he dropped before running after Yuumei and the Scatterbug that had his camera. So they ran back to the lab, huh? he thought and was forced to run back, even if he didn't want to.

"Shinx, Shinx!" Yuumei cried as she rain after the Scatterbug, as if she was yelling for it to return Lucius's camera. The Scatterbug didn't listen and kept running until they ran past Nico. Yuumei along with the Scatterbug ran around in the lab, creating a mess.
