”Fur fur!” Nova complained bitterly, shaking snow out of her fur with a snort.

“Mhm,” Amber replied mindlessly without much thought, more focused on putting one foot in front of the other. One at a time, Amber. One at a time. Her cheeks burned furiously, and her ears were feeling a little warm too, but hey, at least she’d found someone cool. Finally.

“Oh, really! Yes!” Amber cheered, releasing Hex’s hand and taking off with a loud whoop, nearly scaring Nova away. The Furfrou groaned and trotted after the girl, shaking her head crossly.

Okay, so Amber had some work to do with Nova. She could tell the Furfrou wasn’t overly fond of her, though it didn’t bother her too much. She would work it out. Eventually. Hopefully.

"I am. And you're welcome," Erika grinned, heading to the counter. "Two hot chocolates, whipped cream on both." She asked the barista, getting her wallet out. She located it (with the help of Scout, who had apparently been sitting on it) and got the money.
