Lilith sighed and pulled the hood off of Angelica's head causing the girl to make a quiet squeak "Come now child, get up."

"Stop calling me child! My name is Angelica!"

Max launches himself out of bed. "What the heck?!" He looks around. "Who's there?"


"....Hello....." Someone replies.

Max looks toward the person. "What...? Where am I? Who are you?"

The person giggles, "I am Alex... You are somewhere... You will find all this out later..."

Alex walks out of the shadows...

Max gasps... "Of course...."

Angel hears all the commotion but looks for something to protect herself with. She doesn't find anything that would suit her style. Looks at Appy seeking for guidance. "Appy should be go over there with everyone else or explore on our own?"

Appy looks at the short human and laughs "Angel, if you listen carefully to what the other humans ate saying you would realize everyone is like you here. As for exploring, we are better being in groups since you don't ok now where you are yet."

Angel sighs " I guess so." Angel and Appy walks over to everyone and observe everyone. While Appy stays hidden and watching out for danger

Venus looked over at Aria. "Because your brother is not Jay's human, you are. I think it's best if I explained better what exactly us guardians are." She mused. "Many would call us guiding angels or destinies shepherds. Each guardian is specifically designed to guide a human to their full potential, even if that full potential is something sinister. Humans first meet us when they are young. At that point, we are known as imaginary friends." Venus snapped her fingers and the shadows wrapped around her. Once they faded away it showed that her appearance had changed to a doll with bright red hair that wore a pair of overalls and rainbow stockings causing Lianna to gasp. The doll snapped again and the shadows changed Venus' appearance once again. "Eventually we fade away and work in the background, guiding and protecting you, until your final breath. Then we reset and are assigned a new human. Occasionally though we need help like we do now. Occasionally we need our humans help in protecting us and all that we stand for. That is why you were called here, not your brother. Jay isn't your brother's guardian. He's yours and he will fight to the death to protect you just as all of the other guardians fight to protect their child. All we are asking for is a little bit of help so that way we can continue to protect you."

Angel looks at Appy " Hand to hand combat? If I had my twin swords like I did home I wouldn't have to do hand to hand combat but if I must I guess I better get to practicing to get the creaks out since I am a bit rusty."

Appy grins at the human "You know combat already? I am guessing you learn from one of your parents. I happen to know hand to hand combat and swordfighting. I know I am a bit taller than you but that be used to your advantage. I happen to have a spare sword to we can practice." Appy hands Angel a Katana. Angel grins from ear to ear.

"We'll train you how to fight." Venus answered. "Some of you may be better at healing while other's would be better at hacking. The combat training is just so you can protect yourself when the fighting happens. I won't sugar coat this. We are dragging you into the middle of a war. We need more people on our side. Guardians are dwindling due to the massacres that have been happening. All in name of greater good." Venus had used air quotes around the greater good bit. "More like the light are a bunch of manipulative pigs. They are the ones who punish a child for stealing a jar of peanut butter in order to feed their younger sibling." She spit out.

"Lady Venus I would suggest calming down." Lucas mused letting himself be seen. "Anger does one no good."

"Sorry. And yes Aria they do. Some just take a more active stand than others."

Venus chuckled at Aria before looking at Harper. "I'm sure we can find a way for you to help. It could be as simple as cooking a meal every day to hacking for us." She mused with a slightly kind work.
