Some cats still hadn't even showed up, which lead him to believe that one of them was probably contemplating a next move. They had to get rid of the traitor, whoever it was, first.
"The cats who aren't here are possibly hiding something. Mewow, Brightash and Dove-eye are still missing. Mewow, however, is still in training, and I'm not sure he could already accomplish a killing like this one. Which leaves two. But Brightash has always been smart and cunning and I think that would make her a better liar and also a better killer.."
((I vote for Brightash this round.))

"Sorry, I think this is a misunderstanding. I didn't mean he is training right now, I mean he is still an apprentice like me and I don't think we've trained enough to know how to kill someone this way. We can't know for sure who it was, though."

I see Guru's case, it is suspicious that some of the clan have not shown up despite the commotion. Granted, Guru himself took a while to show up as well, but he did show up eventually. I don't think Guru is the murderer.
Brightash seems like a reasonable suspicion, though I'm not quite sure. I think I will listen to a couple more peoples reasons before making a final decision."

According to Nightstar, the wound was to precise to have been done by someone below the rank of warrior/medicine cat. There was a smell of marigold around the body, so some suspect Noel, but considering that Petalpaw was medicine cat apprentice, I am not so sure.
Some were suspecting you because you had not reacted to the commotion until just now.
No one is allowed out of sight at the moment."

"Hmm... well, unless my own memory deceives me, I wasn't the cause of this. However, there are a number of cats it could be.... I don't think it was Noel, as he was trained as a Medicine cat, not a warrior... who were the first few cats to find the body?"

'I hope we can find evidence that Noel is innocent. I really don't think they are the murderer. Actually, I didn't think of it until now, but -'
"It's not exactly hard to find a random medicinal plant, so isn't it possible that Noel was framed? I'm not saying for sure that he was, though I personally trust him, but it is certainly possible."

"Nightstar is correct, I saw her body first. I was too in shock and horrified, and I failed to keep Goldkit back so that she wouldn't see it. Goldkit saw it second and collapsed on the ground in shock. As I finally was broken out of my shock by Goldkit's actions and went to help her, Leafswirl came out of her den and saw the scene. Leafswirl went to get Nightstar as I brought Goldkit back to the den and calmed her. Past that, I don't know because I was distracted by calming Goldkit, but I assume that is enough information."
