Darkrai was hit by the ice beam he tried to use a dark void but failed due to the effects of the protect. He then snarled as the petrify wand slightly effected him "your guild can't keep all of them safe forever! I'll get more Pokemon on my side soon, Spring." He snarled and disappeared into the shadows when he noticed that he was out numbered. He was hit by the ember as he left the area. Parts of him we're frozen.

"I don't want to go back!" Scorch protested angrily and struggled to get out of Spring's grasp.

"Flair NOW!" Spring snapped she then looked at Scorch and sighed "I'm sorry about this but you give me no choice." She said and used attract on the cyndaquil.

Cloud sighs, and looks over to Spring and Scorch, and blinked in surprise. "Uh... you sure that's really the right thing to...?"

Hino and Chance we're outside the guild Hino sighed in relief when he saw the others. "Thank Arceus you're safe! Are those two alright?" He asked in concern and noticed that Scorch was looking content with being carried by Spring. "Let me guess you had to use attract on him?" He asked kindly.

"I had to calm him down somehow, sorry." Spring said "I was too late for Chomp though." She said, handing the totodile to Chance.

Crona was behind Hino with a guilty look, she wouldn't look at them.

Cloud floats inside and looks at Croana. "I expect an apology from you to Scorch." She says as she passes her, then she comes back. "Please?"

Hino nodded, and looked at Spring slightly. "It's fine I don't blame him for not wanting to come back. Let's get them both looked at in the medical center and then we can decide what will happen next with Scorch" he said quietly and glanced at Crona.

Chance took Chomp and looked at him in concern. "He managed to avoid getting effected by nightmare. How long was he in the void?" She asked Spring gently.

"Not long, about a minute, Scorch pulled him out." Spring said and nodded in response to Hino then walked into the guild. She walked past Crona "No dinner for you until I decide otherwise." She said not looking at the Braixen and continued walking.

"Yes ma'am." Crona said looking at the ground.

Chance nodded and sighed in slight relief. "I'll have to thank Scorch for pulling him out when he comes to." She said gently and walked back into the guild. She made her way to the medical center and put Chomp into a nest.

Aki watched them walk away with a frown. ".. Think he'll be okay?"

"He'll be fine. I coulda taken that Darkrai, you know." Flair complained, stomping back into their room. Aki followed in suit with a sigh.

Chance grabbed Scorch and put him in a nest as well. The Cyndaquil squeaked in defiance and went towards Spring, but was put to sleep by Chance grabbing a pouch filled with some sleep powder from Flower Forest. The Cyndaquil then fell asleep.

Light poured in through the window of the medical center hitting Scorch in the eyes. The Cyndaquil groaned and sat up, he yawned and looked around the room in confusion. The Pokemon got to his paws and crept out of the room and into the guild.

"Man, you're awful at chasing jobs. Lemme do this." Flair sighed, shoving her partner gently to the side.

It honestly didn't matter what time it was; they needed to get their work done. And they had to pick one that wouldn't involve them dying.
