Sinnoh. Once, there was a scientist. This scientist had amassed all the plates to control Arceus. However, the result was that Arceus was accidently locked in the Distortion World. The scientist, on his deathbed, revealed the location of his journal, which was found by another scientist. But the scientist was not dead, he had been locked in the Distortion World with Arceus. Celebi had heard his cries, and using some of it's power, it gave the scientist a magical calendar, giving the scientist his last chance to fix his mistakes. But before he died, the scientist hid Arceus's plates across Sinnoh- which he can't access.

Now, a group of new trainers have been tasked with finding the plates after they have completed their journey. The trainers meet for the first time at a café with Rowan, to learn about their job....



Everyone starts sitting around a table in a café, in Sandgem Town.

Rose sat nervously, glancing at the other trainers. Okay. You're being ridiculously stupid by staying here silent. Just... Introduce yourself. That worked with Eclipse. "Uh," Rose began to mutter, "hi. I'm Rose. From Hoenn."

Cat sipped her tea, Flare, her Litten, on her shoulder. She looked around and yawned slightly like a cat. "You know how much longer this will take Flare?" she asked the fire cat, ignoring Rose. Flare shook their head.

Mia couldn't possibly be more annoyed. It was as if she wasn't busy enough anyway, and now she was called out to some random café in some random town. Lovely. She grunted in annoyance, sipping irritably at the coffee she'd ordered while she was waiting.

From beside her, Sear sat, looking rather irritable as well. The Houndoom grunted, laying down on the floor, watching his trainer carefully. Mia reached down to pat him lightly.

The blonde glanced at Rose in annoyance. "A pleasure to meet you." She remarked dryly.

Abba and her Braixen sat together, Abba having her leg crossed very sassily. Her partner mimicked her and the simultaneously took a short sip of their tea. “My name is Abigail Matthews.” she introduced formally, assuming they wouldn’t have much interaction as friends in the future.

Mayra was half asleep with her baby Mareep, Sheeple, resting in her arms while Hina had her arms crossed in front of her, starting to grow impatient. "I'm Hina and this is my sister Mayra. What exactly are we here for?"

"Of course you have to tell me!" Nara demanded, clearly annoyed. She is currently on the verge of destroying her gear. [ "Sorry sis! I don't have any info about a cafe there." ] Her sister snickered on the other line. [ "Eep! There's a challenger, talk to you later." ]

"Wait--" Nara was cut off by a beeping sound. Frustrated by the sudden cut off, she scanned the area for cafe. She spots one in the corner so she did not hesitate to enter.

Mia made a face. Tea drinkers. Great. She rolled her eyes, taking another sip of her coffee. She was most likely gonna need to energy to deal with these people. "I second the question that one said." She muttered, gesturing towards Hina.

Rose sighed. One of the many moments in life when I wish Lunar was here. She closed her eyes, and thought back to when she was called here. Eclipse was with her, because she didn't completely understand how to battle too well. Especially with her crushing defeat years back, she had only seemed to get worse and worse. Until she met Eclipse, who tolerated her presence at first for more than 6 hours. This was, of course, before she stopped trying to be unnerving. "Oh, huh?" Rose looked up, seeing the two introduce themselves. "Uh. I'm not sure. The professor just told me to come here..."

Hina noticed her Eevee running about outside and woke up Mayra. "Hey, wake up" "Whaaaat..." Mayra lazily opened her eyes. "Could you go get Eevee for me?" "Why don't you go get her yourself" Mayra started to play with her Mareep now fully awake. "I wish mom were here..." Hina thought as everyone introduced themselves after her.

"I'm Devyn. I'm here from Canlave. Up north. And I think we're waiting for Rowan, right?" Devyn shrugged, twirling her cap around on one finger.


Scarlett shrugged. "I'm Scarlett. Nice to meet you." Scarlett smiled, giving a little wave as she sipped her coffee.

Oh boy. Mia bit back a groan, barely resisting the urge to slam her head against the table. "Please don't tell me she's a flirt. Why am I even here." She would much rather be out looking for her sister (who'd been missing for at least three months now, and Mia was getting extremely panicky). I haven't slept in three days, if I hear any pickup lines I'm gonna die.

Probably knowing what she was thinking, Sear rolled his eyes.

Enzo noticed a girl entering the cafe, he rushed to open the door for her, in a friendly way of course. "After you, ma'am."

She walked past Enzo, with no signs of gratitude. "I'm not interested." She stated in a dull tone, declining Enzo who was trying to befriend Nara.

As Hina took her seat next to Mayra with her Eevee along with all the other assortment of trainers, she realized the man was just a young man who had come for a coffee and sighed. Where was Rowan? She was starting to get impatient.
