"...Yeah, trading. That's how they got here, and I suppose the
region survived on its own, without pokemon, for awhile," Mira
reasoned, though the concept still seemed very strange to her.
"That's seems difficult." Maisie commented, frowning slightly. "I
wonder who traded first? Like why come here with Pokemon to trade
when there's no pokemon anyway?"
"For a while yeah. Then someone from Kanto came over with pokemon
and well that's that." Jamie mused. "Though I still find it weird
that the starters for Orre are all from the Eevee line."
"Don't let any locals hear you say that. They take pride in their
unique starters. Then again I will admit Espeon and Umbreon are
quite fearsome and the fact that an Eevee has many possibilities to
become a different pokemon it does make a bit of sense." Jamie
mused.
Jamie chuckled at that before looking over as the doctor came out.
"I would like to keep him here for a couple more days, just to
monitor him. If all goes well then he can go home."
"Thank you, doctor." Jamie mused before slipping back into the
room.
Luciana yawned and followed the others in, still pretty confused by
everything around her. Of course, she knew about the Shadow
Pokémon, she wasn't stupid, and she'd lived in Orre for a few
years. She was just tired, and in desperate need of a nap. Luma
nudged her.
Mira followed Luciana back in. This is BEYOND foreign territory
by this point. She couldn't help but think, somewhat
overwhelmed, but mostly prepared for the coming journey.
"I know I'm ready to pass out! Sometimes I wonder if I should put a sleeping bag
on my boat for long sailing trips like that... But anyway.
How're you feeeling?" Mira asked in a sing-song voice.
"Sorry, some of us get messages late and spend a whole night pacing
around waiting for a plane to come. You feeling any better?"
Luciana checked, tucking her hands into her pockets.
Robert opened his mouth to repeat what he said before sighing.
"Feel a bit lost, to be honest as the last thing I saw was Ro get
dragged off by a shadow Ho-Oh." He answered seriously. "Plus the
doctor thought it was fun to poke and prod my ribs which are
already sore."
