He smiled. He first handed Luma the dorm key, then pulled out the pokeball. He threw it into the air, revealing a Riolu. The audience gasped, some being their first time seeing a live Pokémon.

Raye looked at the Pokemon that appeared, "That's astounding", soon Raye begins to realize that she might get a Pokemon as well.

Galen said, "I have to agree for once, this might be an interesting year", then Galen turned his focus back to the stage where the principal was.

Sami almost fell back into the back seats, she had never seen a Pokémon- practically in front of her eyes before. "It's so different looking than on TV..." she thought, scared for her turn to get her own partner.

Mira was surprised, too, but for a completely different reason--she was surprised that so many people have never seen a pokemon before. She blinked. Huh. I wonder how they'll react to the rest of them...

Luma accepted the dorm key and tucked it into her pocket, approaching the Riolu and crouching down.

The Riolu flicked his ears, the receptors on both sides of his head rising slightly. They lowered and he smiled.

With a grin, Luma picked the Riolu up. She glanced at the principal. Anything else? Do I just go back? She wondered, waiting.

Raye grabbed her water bottle and drank some water in hopes of focusing at what is to come, and still she waits in anticipation.

Galen grabbed his water bottle and was holding on to it, while still anticipating in which Pokemon he will get. "I just hope for something good".

The principal gave her the pokeball, and quietly asked Luma to put her Pokémon back in its pokeball and take her seat. The audience clapped.

Raye and Galen clapped as the student returned to take her seat, then both Raye and Galen looked at each other then returned the focus back to the principal.

(Just talking. So far, Luma is the only one with a Pokémon.)

Luma accepted the pokeball and returned Riolu, moving off the stage and back to her seat. She sat down and crossed her legs, turning the pokeball over in her hands. She looked up, waiting for the next person.

Sami fell back onto her seat, before hurrying up. It was awkward for her to walk up there, her rainboots squeaking against the wooden floors. "What if my starter doesn't like me? What if I loose my room key? Oh what could go wrong!" Sami thought as she stepped on the stage, staring at the shiny red and white Pokeball containing her forever partner.

Raye began to speak to the student who was next to get her key, "Don't worry, don't panic, even though it is your first time getting something, you will do good", she said to the student.

Galen then also said, "Your Pokemon partner will help gain your confidence and hopefully you will be successful".

"Sami.. here is your key." He said, dropping the keys in her hands, before pulling out the pokeball, and revealing a Goomy inside. The Goomy looked shyly at her before the principal put it back in its pokeball and sent Sami back down to her seat, pokeball in hand.

Next up is... Raye!" He said, once again pulling out the pokeball and keys.

(When you need to go to bed/leave soon tell me so I can get your character done! ^-^)

Sami quickly smiled at her new Goomy friend, before trotting back down to her seat, clicking the Pokeball into her never-used belt, and safely tucking her keys into one of her many pockets. "Goomy. Is. So. Cute!!" Sami thought.

Raye stand up and walked up to the stage where the principal was, and soon she got her Pokeball and her key and soon said, "Thank you", and soon left the stage and returned to her spot.

Galen still awaits his moment to get his key and Pokeball, "I am happy for the female student who called herself Raye and I hope my time will come", Galen said.

The principal grinned. "Delilah is next!" He said, reading off his list. Delilah quickly ran up the stage, and pat her new Pokémon's head before she went back to her seat, clicking her heels and jingling her new keys to hopefully get a chuckle from the audience.

Mira yawned slightly. She tapped her fingers on her suitcase almost nervously. I wonder if I'll have a roommate. Or a mega-able pokemon! Oh, that'd be cool...
