Cyndaquil jumped to the ground, and whispered something in Pokémon that Tiger caught. The trainer nodded, and grabbed a pokeball cautiously.

"We don't have anything else to do." Mel said, crossing her arms and stepping forward, Riu by her side.

Luma approached the town, Houndoom on her heels. She peeked over and spotted Victoria and grinned. She was here. "Hey, V!" She called, holding up one hand as a greeting. "Any good Pokémon? Oooh, two Dratini? That's pretty rare. They'll be nice catches, don't you think?"

The remark made Dratini hiss louder. “Touch her and you’re walking out of here with a broken nose,” Mira growled.

Mira put a hand to her pokeball belt to grab a nonexistent ball; she flinched slightly. “Dratini, stay on my shoulder after every move,” She whispered to her pokemon, who nodded.

(Oooo boi I suck at recaps here we go; Nothing much lmao Victoria is part of team rocket, Luma is a new character, also part of team rocket, and they're attacking the group, I guess??)

"Break my nose and I'll break your neck." Luma countered calmly with a grin. "Besides, what good are those Dratini to you? They look awfully weak, don't you think?"

"Break her neck and I'll break your spine." Mel snapped. "Without hesitation." She was very much aware that she only had one Pokémon, but that was all she needed. Riu was strong, they'd pulled through much worse. At least, she hoped.

"Let us make this quick. Rachel, metal claw followed it up with using ice beam on your claw." Victoria mused while Rachel did just that creating a large claw of ice.

“Zorua use shadow ball and bendy use a move that isn’t a psychic move.” Z said as Zorua used shadow ball to break the ice. She grabbed for another pokeballs from her belt. “This is why you don’t mess with the kid of a gym leader.” She said with a smirk and threw the pokeball up in the air.

Anger flared in Roy's eyes. If only I had Swampert or Skarmory... "Weak or not, Pokemon are our friends. And as long as I live if you dare touch me, my allies, or our Pokemon, I swear I will hunt you down and take you out. I have connections to 2 Pokemon Champions, so watch out. Dratini, Draco Meteor!"

(wait lance and Steven are still champions of their regions right)

Luma flicked her hair back. "What an annoyance." She held up the same hand. "Houndoom, counter that with shadow ball." She sounded almost bored.

Houndoom did as instructed and leapt forward, using shadow ball.

"Aura sphere!" Mel called, flinging up one hand.

Riu leapt from her side into the air, creating the attack and sending it towards Rachel.

“You’d be surprised,” Mira replied through grit teeth. “Dragon rage.”

Dratini leapt off of her shoulder and barreled towards Houndoom.

Before the two moves hit a large black figure appeared that came out of the pokeball and blocked the two attacks. Z smirked and laughed.

Rachel took the hit staggering before it hit Dratini. Victoria ruffled Rachel's hair a bit and smiled using her energy to heal Rachel.

Victoria smiled sadly returning Rachel as Ben picked her up leading her to the water.

"Dratini, bide some time! Use Wrap!" Roy called out before turning to his Caterpie and whispering something into its ear. The Caterpie nodded with understanding and scurried off somewhere.

Luma clearly looked annoyed. She returned Houndoom before the attacks could hit him and scowled. "Obviously you losers are strong. Just remember that as long as you have those Pokémon, we'll be after you." She said, flipping her hair again and walking out.
