Everyone starts either getting off the ferry or wherever they
want.
Mira got off of her boat in Vermilion, yawning. Dratini was fast
asleep still in her hood, and wasn't looking as if she was waking
up anytime soon.
"This place is already more crowded than Three Island..." She
grumbled, tying the boat to the harbor and grabbing her bag.
Dratini raised her head. "What do you think? Should we go see Oak?"
She asked. Dratini nodded.
On the ship´s deck, a girl watched as the ship got closer to land,
making her relieved to had arrived on the predicted time.
Thankfully she still got the chance to catch the ship after her
latest contest or otherwise, she would never make it on time for
the ship that went to the Kanto region.
A vaporeon kept staring at the water below the ship, wishing to be
able to jump and have fun but his trainer always managed to stop
him before he could do so, so instead he simply stood by her side
and watched the water but as he saw the region he let out a small
noise to warn his trainer. The girl looks down at him and pets his
head smiling "I know boy, we´re almost there. Ready for another
journey?" She playfully asks, receiving an excited "´poreon" as an
answer.
Mel leaned on the railing of the ship, staring down at the water.
"Hey, Riu, how much do you wanna bet someone's gonna fall
overboard?"
The aura Pokémon sighed and shook his head, leaning against the
railing as well. "No. Just no." He barked firmly.
Mel frowned at him. "Fine." She huffed. Due to Riu being a Pokémon
that senses auras and such, she was able to catch onto what he was
saying most of the time.
Mira grabbed the map she kept in her bag. "O-kay... Let's see...
WOW THIS PLACE IS REALLY BIG HOLY-"
Dratini snickered, making Mira cast an angry glance back. "Don't
you dare say anything. We've been on an island our entire
lives, of course this seems big," She hissed, looking back down
at the map. She jumped as a ferry horn blasted. Oh great. MORE
people.
"MAAAX! GIVE ME BACK MY HEADPHONES!" Lillian's voice echoed
throughout her house. She was standing in her and Max's room.
"Sorry sis, but I needed to get your attention somehow." Max mused.
"The ferry is coming in and dad is supposed to be on it."Lillian
rolled her forest green eyes. "Why didn't you just tap my
shoulder?"Max chuckled. "I did. Now come on and let's get to the
ferry. Bendy and Rose are already there."Lillian shook her head
causing her midnight black curls to bounce. "Still can't believe
you named your Pokemon after video game and t.v show characters."
She mused grabbing her galaxy bag and hoodie. "What can I say. I
know what we like."
Zara was just watching boats come and leave at the harbor with her
Zorua when she heard someone freak out behind her. She glanced over
her shoulder to see a girl with a dratini looking at a map. "Let me
guess, you've never been here before?" She asked with a bit of an
unsettling smirk.
"LAND. FINALLY." Mel shrieked, sprinting off the ferry and onto the
ground. "It's been ages." She wheezed. A complete lie, but it
certainly felt like it.
Riu frowned as he joined her, holding the back of her shirt to keep
her from sprinting off and getting lost. "Why are we even
here?" He asked dryly, looking around.
Mel shrugged. "'Cause it was either this or I was gonna be stuck in
house by myself for the next three months."
"Island kid, huh?" Zara said and before the girl could answer she
spoke. "I'm known as Z around here and some call me the Dark-type
queen, which I have no idea where it came from." She said standing
up. As she did so, her Zorua jumped up onto her shoulder. "what's
your name?"
Mira jumped at the girl who faceplanted onto the ground. "Er. You
alright?" She called, pushing Dratini into her hood. She looked at
Zara. "Mira. I'd like to specialize in dragon-types. ...You aren't
a gym-leader, right? Or, are you?"
"Yeah, I'm good!" Mel called back, glancing at the girl curiously.
She seemed curious enough to go over, but brushed it off as
friendly concern. She stood and brushed herself off, glancing at
Riu. "I don't remember where we're going. It was like.. Cerulean
City, right?"
"Yeah, that's where your cousins live." Riu said, reaching
into her backpack to pull out the map.
"Whatever. I'll just text them and tell them I'm on my way later.
Besides, it's a new region! Isn't it exciting?"
"My dad is one, actually." Zara said then looked at the girl who
face planted. "you sure?" she asked
Her Zorua snickered 'So happy that she kissed the ground."
she said [only Zara can hear her] this caused Zara to burst out
laughing. "that's a good one!"
Max and Lillian arrived at Vermillion City docks and looked around.
"So where are Bendy?" Lillian asked, looking around the place.
"Over there!" Max said pointing over to where Bendy was attempting
to sneak up on Mira but Rose was holding him back with her vines.
"Do we want to know?" Lillian mused. "Nope let's go stop him." Max
replied while jogging over to Bendy and Rose with Lillian
following.
"Dead sure." Mel replied dryly, a small smile twitching at the
corners of her lips. Though unsure of what the Zorua on the other
girl's shoulder said, Riu was snickering next to her, so she
guessed it was something about her fall. She approached the other
girls curiously, guessing one of them wasn't from here, shown by
the map she was holding.
Dratini tapped Mira. She turned around to see the two and giggled.
"Er. Can I help you?" She asked, reaching into her bag to pull out
a few berries. She looked to Mel as she approached. "Hiya!"
Zara calmed down a bit but still was a bit out of breath. "He
spesalizes in Dark/Psychic types." she said then noticed the look
on Mira's face. "Oh sorry, I should explain what just happened. I
can understand dark-type and psychic-type pokemon."
"Oh, okay, good. You aren't insane," Mira let out her breath and
smiled. She looked at the now crowded harbor, filled with tourists
and locals alike. She tapped her toe in her shoe nervously; never
before had she seen so many people in one place, as the population
of Three Island was around fifteen.
Rose gulped a bit while Bendy's eyes seemed to sparkle. He ripped
out of Rose's hold and tackle Mira in his version of a hug. "You
would make the perfect human for my human!" Lillian heard as
her and Max got close to Bendy and Rose. "Oh shoot! Bendy stop."
Max cried out while Lillian was trying to hide her snicker.
