Welcome to Lowethin. Lowethin is a thriving little village, filled with plenty of races and classes. They live together in complete harmony, and everyone knows everyone else. People who live here have lived here their whole lives, never needing nor wanting to leave. Everyone is very happy here, content with their seemingly perfect lives.

But one day, when individuals were out and about, a dwarf came staggering into town. He was disheveled, but dying. A young bars was playing music for a small crowd when he saw the dwarf and raced towards him. Before he died, he passed his message of need onto a young bard.

"Across the Valley of Terrina, there's lies a prophet by the name of Melbu. She is a powerful woman, and she is trying to spread her darkness to this side of the valley due to a prophecy she received by the undead. My group and I tried to stop her but... She blew us all away. Please. Stop her."

And so the bard decided that he and his friends had to stop her. He gathered his friends, and after telling them about the story, they decided to go as a group to defeat her. Each of the members were different but alike, and with their abilities, they hoped they could defeat this Prophet Melbu. Hope is all they have.

((We begin as the friend group is gathered to leave at the center of town. There is a large statue of the leader of the town, and little benches and chairs around it. Some trees surround the area. It's a lot like a park.))

Alex sat on a bench near the big statue, a journal clasped in his hands. He wore his normal, with a large sack on his back for supplies and food and clothes. He rubbed his eyes before letting his hands run down his face with an obnoxious sigh. "Where is everyone...?" He muttered lowly, his big eyes glancing around at the empty area.

He noticed a little figure running towards him, and laughed as he noticed how the little one looked. It was Quixi, with a traveler's pack that was as big as her on her back. She wore her usual outfit, but she looked very small. She did seem fiesty by first glance as well, her staff gripped in her hand. "Morning, Qui." Alexander hummed, making the gnome smile. "Good morning, Alex." She purred, having to jump to get onto the bench, her bag lightly smushed against the back of the bench.

Delmar sauntered towards the bench with his usual confidence, a grin gracing his face.

"Good to see you guys! See you're as short as ever, Quixi. And, Alex! Overpacking, as usual?" The mer-elf jibed, the wiggling of his ear fins betraying how happy he was to see his friends again.

Beverly appeared at the entrance of the statue square, walking towards the group at an even pace. She lowered her hood as she approached her old friends. " Sorry I'm late, " she said, "Seems like I'm not the latest though," Beverly noted that most of the group had not arrived yet, feeling slightly relieved.

Lizzy and Fredrick both made they're way to the village square while chatting as they walked.
they were both checking that they both had what they needed and that Lizzy didn't end up forgetting anything important like food and stuff like that.
once they were close enough to the square they're conversation soon was in earshot of the other's.
''for a witch who's usually so organized, your really paranoid about accidentally forgetting about packing important stuff Vixie'' Fredrick said, flicking his tail.
Lizzy growled faintly and pinned her ear's back.
''coming from the guy who lost one of they're daggers, yet it was right where they left it last'' she said.
once she looked up and spotted the other's, she smiled brightly and waved.

Alexander laughed. "I might've overpacked, but it's more likely that you underpacked, Del." He glanced over at Quixi, who was glaring at the Druid. "I'm not even that short." She grumbled, crossing her arms and looking away from the others.

Alex sighed, and looked up at the sound of Beverly's voice. "Hello, Bev. You're not late, no worries. You're actually basically on time!" He smiled, and Quixi looked up. "Hey Bev!" She said with a smile, her little legs swinging back and forth. They obviously didn't even skim the ground, though.

Lizzy's frantic waving caught the eye of the little gnome, and she waved back, almost hitting Alex in the face as she swung up her arm. Alex flinched, and let out another sigh. Quixi just kept waving, a grin set on her face.

Beverly raised her hand, greeting her friends, and leaned up against the pedestal of the statue. " Seems like ages since I've seen this many of us together. " She said, smirking and crossing her arms. " Who else is coming?," She asked, glancing at Alex.

Marius made his way over to the group steadily, a fairly nice cape that clasped over his left shoulder on. It was navy blue, with elegant gold trimmings on the edges, ending with a flourish at the back. His vambraces glinted whenever they caught the sun, a sign more of status then actual threat. With his skinny arms and lacking physique it brought many to wonder if he could even put any power behind his blows.

Alex shrugged. "Volund and Versul, plus Ma-" Alex went quiet as he saw Marius. "Well, I suppose it's just Volund and Versul." He hummed before giving Marius a smile. "Hello, Mari." He purred. "Hey Mari!" Quixi smiled, legs still swinging.

(now a quick note: i'm using an on-screen keyboard cause my laptop has a few bugged up keys, so i may be slow)

Fredrick's face flushed out of embarrassment and his pointed ears flattened against his head.
''hey that's not fair....! the one time... oh you can be so infuriating..!'' he whined, then waved to the other's while smiling a little.
Lizzy laughed and crossed her arm's letting her tail sway as she looked up at him.
''you make it so easy to pick on you.... Alex! how have you been?'' she asked, hurrying over before hugging him tightly.

Alex let out a yelp at the hug, hugging back with a soft smile. "Hey Lizzy. I've been well, how have you been?" He laughed a bit, happy to see his friends. Quixi smirked at the two, crossing her arms with a smile.

//sorry for being late oops

When you think of your average community, the one race you don’t expect to find is a Cecaelia-much less one that will tolerate others for so long. Versul is an exception. Even after all these years people stared at him-he bet that they wanted him for his tentacles and/or avatar. As the giant crab neared their destination he noted that he was among the last to arrive (maybe he should’ve stayed home after all). Pulling down his hood, (a nervous habit of his) he stood a few paces away from the main group, eager to leave already.

Protector had a hard time putting on her bag-Houndfolk don’t have thumbs after all-so she gave up after a while and bounded towards the agreed meeting place. Some villagers greeted her as she passed them (she greeted them back of course) while others cowered before her. She may be tiny but she was known for being a pretty good fighter. As she neared the group she started calling their names...or more specifically Quixi’s. “Quixi! Hey Quixi! Oh-uh, hey everyone else-“ It wasn’t really a secret that Protector favored Quixi over the rest, but she still tried to tone it down a notch. “Everyone here?” She asked, glancing at the group as she tries to keep her tail from wagging too hard.

yes Versul is an octopus dude riding a giant crab and yes Volund is basically a dog on two legs

( Well, you certainly don't see octopi riding crabs every day XD )

Beverly surveyed the group, nodding. " You two were the last to arrive, " she said, leaning away from the statue and uncrossing her arms. " With a group this size, word will surely spread through the towns." Beverly figured that the surprise approach against this prophet would be impossible.

''i've been good, same with Fredrick'' Lizzy said, smiling brightly as she let him go and fixed her rather large satchel over her shoulder.
Fredrick walked up beside Beverly and patted her shoulder, sighing quietly.
''your bein' to formal about this Bev, we got time before we leave so let everyone catch up with each other'' he said, then grinned real wide before and gave her a bear hug, lifting her a few inches off the ground with ease.

" Ah, forgive me for taking the situation too seriously...", Beverly said as the breath was squeezed out of her. When Frederick put her back down, she couldn't help but smile a little and shake her head. " What have you two been up to?, " She asked, straightening her cloak slightly.

"Seriousness can kill a mood." Marius said, putting his hand on his hip, keeping the smooth appearence of his cape on his right to contrast with his left elbow poking out. He really should consider getting an enchanted version of it.

Delmar opted out of approaching anyone, simply leaning against the statue behind the bench Alexander had picked. They really where getting the 'gang' back together!

"How about we get this show on the road?" He offered loudly, not moving just yet - in case someone disagreed. One hand fiddlign with the strap on his messenger bag, the Druid wondered silently if he really had underpacked.

Quixi gave Volund a grin, hopping off of the bench and hugging her companion. "Hey!" She smiled, and turned to drag her closer to the group. Alex glanced up to see Versul a few feet away. He gave a wave to the distance male, knowing how he seemed to edge away from specific situations. "Leaving now seems reasonable." He hummed lightly, pulling out his map.

''the usual ingredient gathering, house work, stuff like that'' Fredrick sighed, perking up when he heard Alex and looked over.
Lizzy pulled her cloak hood up over her heard and smiled, excited to actually go traveling out of town.

Beverly nodded, then also looked to Alex as he spoke. “ Where are we headed to first?,” she asked, taking a step towards him, peering at the map that he unfolded.

Standing up straight, Delmar took an easy slide-step over to Quixi, propping his arm up on her head.

"Yeah, Alex, where are we going to find this magic witch?" He asked, his other arm on his hip.
