"Hey, I think I've found something." Mals says, walking into the living room. "It shouldn't be too dangerous, I don't think. Want to take the newbies out to see what it's like?" Syd shrugs. "You coming?" "Nah, I'm in the middle of... something. But I'll be monitoring."

"Pleeease?" Rylie called. She had passed out during the conversation, still tired. But, upon hearing the word 'out' she sat up.

"You have to take them." Syd says. "Oh come on, I'm busy!" Mals argues, but Syd just shakes her head. "No whining. You can explain some of the angel stuff to them while you're there, anyways." Mals sighs, and heads off, calling over his shoulder. "Fine, let me get my stuff real quick."

Ash raises an eyebrow before yawning once again. "So going back to our previous conversation what are your thoughts on the people who live here?" She mused to Syd.

"Mals... I know his life has been rough. I don't know everything, and what I do know is pretty bad. I can't say much more than that, but I can say this - he never deserved it." Syd replies, pausing. "Cass has also had a tough existence. Her siblings are all bigger, stronger, while she relies on logic and statistics to get her through sticky situations. Everything she's known for... it paints her as cruel and unforgiving, when she's really not like that. There was a time when she was happy, when she still felt emotions. You can probably see it in her face, her movements. She tries, I know she does, but she feels like an alien, and she always ends up reverting back to her old ways. That's really all I can say."

"Three possibilities. Either it's a particularly upset dragonet, which is probably the second most sensible. It could be an angry phoenix or kilosa, but those are unlikely considering they're more rare and usually don't show up. Besides, it's a dark stone building, it's the best place for a dragonet." Mals replies, reciting the information as if he's learned it by heart.
