Forum-Index → Suggestions → Exclude RPs from the "Newest posts" and "MostI just noticed how the "Newest forum posts" and "Most active topics" list are basically always bummed with RPs, so my idea was to exclude RPs from these lists as some are private RPs anyways, or just from a group of friends who keep posting all day and the non-RP topics can't get listed because they're not as active as RPs. Which seems logical as RPs are basically living from posting much.
So uh. I hope you get my point. I don't know if this was already suggested, but I thought I might as well try. The forum search didn't show any results, so;
That's basically it.

To be honest, I don't really get what you mean by "a new section in the RPs column". Would you mind explaining?
And it might be that many people love RPs, but it can get annoying for the people who don't like RPs when the Newest Forum Post & Most Active Topics are clustered with RPs. This fact also lowers the chances of good suggestions to be noticed as the threads will be kicked off the list of newest posts immediately because of some RP posts.
So i support, yea.
It is same as how feeds become trending when some people comment on them again and again, but with reason in case of RPs. If those feeds aren’t removed from trending, I don’t see why RPs should be removed from most active threads.
So no support from me currently.
Good point, but the thing is that RPs aren't really discussions to be considered important.
I personally think that actual discussions should be able to hold the "Most Discussed" title as they're pretty much more important than a bunch of RPs that half of the community doesn't care about at all.
Like I said earlier, PH allows trending feeds which became trending only due to a few users and are often of no importance. I'm sure RPs are considered much more important in the community than those feeds. It comes off as a sort of double standard to me regarding what's 'important' and what's not.
Also, if you'd notice, I think RPs should be excluded from newest posts. This action would give much more visibility to newer posts.
Just my two cents.
Otherwise, I don't have much support for this. Speaking as an RPer myself, I may be a bit biased, but I almost always find new RPs in the 'newest posts' or 'most active' section. It almost seems unfair to those actually making the RPs, as I think that is how most other people discover new roleplays as well.
