There's nothing but an empty black void around you, and you seem to be floating in it. Before you can speak, or even fully process what is happening, a faint voice is heard.
"Hello, hero."
The soft words come from nowhere, there's no one around you for it to come from.
"I'm so sorry to have to do this. It shouldn't have been this way, but I am getting desperate. You must find the Celestials with the secret, and you must convince them to help. The Others are getting out of control, I can't handle it anymore. We can't handle it anymore. I will make you one of them, they won't hurt their own kind, but you can't tell them you're not a Celestial, and you can't tell them about me. Some wouldn't hesitate to kill you. Please, if you succeed, I will make you human again, I promise.
And if you don't, well, the Others will kill you along with everyone else..."
There's a pause, as if the voice is considering something. You can't find your tongue, rendering you unable to say anything, if you even wanted to.
"I suppose... I should tell you. I will be turning you into an angel or a demon, since they are the two main breeds of Celestials. Please, hero, I can't do it myself. You must succeed. Remember what I have said to you, and go now. Convince them, or we will all die...

Jax is odd and he accepts that. He's kinda laid-back, and enjoys his free time, but is in no way lazy. He keeps the other Demons and Angels in check most of the time, being the oldest there, but he's not particularly strict in any sense. Course, Jax isn't always the most polite either, and he honestly doesn't care unless it concerns him, one of his siblings, or one of the various animals around the house. In fact, he usually cares more for the creatures they call pets then the others he's supposed to look after. He can be very loyal, if he likes you enough, and he's incredibly creative, usually spending his time drawing or writing. He's very touchy about his height, and can hold a serious grudge, but rarely does anything more than the occasional little trick. Occasionally, he can also act very feminine.

Cas is often considered the most beautiful Demon, or Angel, that's ever lived. She's tall and slim, with a perfect hourglass shape and long legs. Her hair falls to the middle of her back in a glossy black wave, a startlingly gorgeous contrast to her alabaster skin. In fact, most of her seems to be very monochrome, especially with her dark brown eyes, almost the same color as her hair. Her horns aren't very big, maybe 9 inches long, and appear to be black from far away. They're actually very dark gray, but there are odd symbols and patterns in the color they're often mistaken for spiraled across them. Her tail is somewhere between scale and skin, long, skinny, and tipped with feathers at the end, which is something unique to her. Following the same idea as her horns, it's actually very dark gray, and scattered with different shapes and such in black, barely noticable. With her graceful features and overall stunning appearance, it seems she should give off an air of sophistication and coldness, but she doesn't. The only thing that could possibly lessen her beauty is the impossibly white scar against her already pale skin, running across her eye. It doesn't seem to have caused any damage to the mysteriously dark orb, and it even makes her seem a little more pretty in a unique way. Cas dresses very casually, in dark skinny jeans or leggings and similarly colored t-shirts, although not always so consistent with the latter. Her shirts can range from Harry Potter, to Supernatural, to Fall Out Boy, and she usually wears a thin flannel button-up over it that's not actually buttoned. Sometimes she swaps it out with a hoodie or light jacket, but she prefers flannel for some odd reason, and the loose shirts actually look really good on her. Cas will alternate between black flats and converse of the same color, but one thing is always a constant for her. She will always wear a pair of black ear buds, often having just one in or letting them hang around her neck, but if she's alone or in need of noise, she will put both in.

Despite her good looks, Cas is easy-going, and not stuck up at all. She tends to shrug off compliments with a simple "thanks". Out of all the Angels and Demons, she's the most caught up on everything modern, listening to P!ATD, reading Warriors, even watching Supernatural and Doctor Who (though she refuses to listen to any spoilers for the former). She can be very quiet, often lost in a book or her own thoughts, but when she does talk it's usually to make a joke (sometimes tease) or give helpful information. Jax swears she can be friendly, you just have to get past all the daydreaming and unfocused gazing. However, Cas is very loyal to her family, to all Angels and Demons, and is second in charge, but really doesn't act like it. She tends to have little chats instead of enforcing the rules, and in many ways, she's similar to Jax.

Her eyes are almost tan, with a hint of hazel, and she's thin, but not in a I'm-just-naturally-this-skinny way, more in a I-workout-to-be-this-skinny kinda way. In fact, she has muscles under her spotless skin, in her legs and her arms. Zia prefers to dress in ragged shorts and tank tops, sneakers, and usually has her hair pulled back into a ponytail. She's not a jewelry kind of person, but she does have a metal charm carved to look like a rose, minus the stem and leaves, on a thin cord around her neck. Her wings are a warm brown color, and definitely not as big as some of the other Angel's wings. She's good-looking, but certainly not the prettiest.

Zia isn't quiet, and certainly not as creative as Jax or Cas. She's very active, you can usually find her spiraling around in the sky or on a run, and can be really serious and cold. Some Angels and Demons joke that if she was in charge, everything would be more orderly and less chaotic. She hates being ignored, and can be really rude if she's in a bad mood. With a short temper and fierce personality, it's easy to see her being friendless, but she's actually very social. Zia has a whole group of friends, and they enjoy playing games or just aimlessly chatting. She's basically a whole other person when she's not around Cas and Jax, and few really know why.

Appearance: Posi has green eyes and brown hair that reaches down to her waist that's always tied into low pigtails as well as pale skin. She's mostly wearing a jacket, plain shirt and skirt when outside in public but secretly wears a school uniform when no one's around. Standing at 5'1, she isn't very tall but likes her height because "the short characters are always the strongest in battle when you pick on them for their height".
She has small horns and a regular devil tail after she became a demon.
Personality: Posi does not follow the standard cliches of a demon at all. In fact, she doesn't even follow any expectations of a demon. Before she became a demon, she was actually a shut-in from Earth and didn't talk as much to people which resulted in her being a bit socially awkward. Other than being a past shut-in, she's actually a kind and optimistic girl but sometimes oblivious (she's trying her best though). She's somewhat good at being comic relief too.

Personality: Rhetta is super annoying, and takes glee of pestering others and being a nuisance. She is also very tricky, and likes to trick people, especially those who are naive. She also makes jokes, and is very quick. She also says "Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock" often, giving her her nickname.

Nobody's perfect of course and Rory has a share of darker sides to deal with too. His somewhat short temper poses plenty of problems and beyond what people are willing to deal with.
