A couple years after the events of the downfall of Team Flare, Kalos had been rebirthed.

These events came at a cost, however. The death of a young girl, the disbanding of a group that worked to save Kalos in their grief, innocent civilians crushed in Geosenge town.

Due to these events Professor Sycamore resigned out of frustration because he believed the death was caused by him, and a new professor took his place, as she worked to better the region and studied the affects of Pokémon in the wild.

However, Lysandre survived due to the power of Xerneas he had saving his life, calling his old members back.

Now, the threat of Team Flare is stronger than ever, with the Professor's discovery of Zygarde and one of it's cores being already seized by Team Flare.

The Professor called forth a group of teens to save Kalos once again. You are one of those trainers.

"Infernape! Come on, come on! We're gonna be late for the kiddos that're coming today!" A professor yelled, the huge fire monkey Pokémon appearing from behind a cupboard, berry crumbs around it's mouth. "Ugh! You've gotta be kidding! I leave you alone for 5 minutes...." She sighs, snorting, then turning to the Honchkrow behind her. "You too? Geez, what am I dealing with here? I just hope none of my other Pokémon are like this, my Arceus..."

A girl a few years younger with ginger hair jumps out her front door in Ambrette town, running down the path with her Dratini at her side. This is Tess. Tess grins at the cool sea air, something she woke up to each and every morning but felt special now.

James yawned as he walked along Route nine with his Yamask, Benny, floating beside him."Hey, B didn't the professor need us for something?"Benny looks over at his trainer and bounces a bit.Ya-Ya-Yamask."James stretches."Well then let's go B."With that, the duo turns around and makes their way back to Ambrette Town.

Tess jogs to the Pokemart inside the Pokecenter, stocking her bag with some potions and Pokeballs. She steps back out, the town dark and suspiciously empty. Dratini, who she had nicknamed Misty a while ago, stands at her side, tall even in it's first form.

"Okay... So where's the lab?"

Mira had a map of Kalos on the ground, holding it out in front of her. Her Growlithe--Char--was hanging on her shoulder. She barked and held a paw out to a city on the map. "How do you know?" She asked Char, who only shrugged in reply. "Well, that's all we have, so... Let's head there," She nodded, putting the map away and getting up.

She was currently in Ambrette Town, fresh off the ferry.

(Not sure if there is a ferry there, but oh well xD)

[@Shadow please be literate! I.e. Multiple sentences, putting a period at the end of them.]

"The Lab's in Lumiose, yeah? Gotta go there, then..." Tess said aloud, beginning to walk down route 8L. It was dangerous and she was happy to be alone, recalling Misty into her Pokeball to scale the rock formations, easily seen by far because of the contrast.

Mira walked down Route 8U. She whistled as she walked, avoiding the tall grass where possible. It was honestly quite peaceful; Char kept running ahead and forced Mira to chase her.

Jade stocked up on some pokeballs as her Zorua, Shade, bounded around the pokecenter impatiently. She whistled to let Shade know to come over and that she was done with shopping, but Shade just ran out the door and waited outside for her. Jade rolled her eye's and walked out to meet her pokemon.

James slipped into his house and notice his mom baking."Hey, mum B and I need to go to the profe..."His mom interrupts him."The Professors.I know.Be careful alright and tell her that Mrs.Dreynar said hello.She'll know who you are talking about."James frowns and walks over to his mother."Hey.I'll be alright.I promise.I'll come home."Mrs.Dreynar smiles at James and returns the hug."I know dear..I know."After a few minutes, she lets James go and goes to give him a bag."Here this is...was your sister's.I think she would want you to have it."James swallows thickly and nods before slipping it on."Be safe and B you take care of him now."Benny bobs up and down to indicate he heard her."Off you go now..have fun."James nods at his mother and walks out the door and towards Route 8L. Don't worry mom.I'll come back..I promise.

Tess, from her spot on a rock ledge, sits, feet pressed together in a butterfly stretch as she watches the sun rise a bit more. It was pretty, she let Misty out to watch as well. The girl and her Dratini, entranced by the sun.

Jade put her hands on her hips and making a annoyed face at Shade. She quickly picked up the Zorua before it could run off again and headed to the professors. Shade squirmed in Jade's arms, trying to get out of her trainers grip, but failed.

Mira smiled at the sunrise as well. She paused, now at the beginning of Route 7. Char wagged her tail and watched. "Wanna keep going?" She asked her Pokemon, who nodded, still watching however.

Tess recalls Misty, seeing someone walk down Route 8L. "Heeeey!" She yells, waving. She begins scaling the cliff down back to the small pathway.

Jade begins walking the path in route 8L and noticed two others. She tried to avoid them but Shade finally was able to wiggle out of her arms and run towards the two. crap. she thought then ran after her pokemon.

"Hey. Wake up." Axew said, tapping Drake. "Wake up." Axew said again, a bit annoyed as she taps Drake with her tusks. Axew, now annoyed, roars at Drake. "Okay! Okay! I'm up.." Drake said, as he finally got off of his bed and stood up. "Isn't today that day.." Drake stopped as he remembered that the professor needed to see him today. His eyes quickly widened as he threw anything on and began rushing down the steps. "See ya later mom!" Drake yelled to him mom rushed out the door. His mother smiled and giggled a bit. "I don't know what I'm gonna do with that kid.." She said, smiling. Drake rushes back inside to get his bag, and then quickly runs back out. "Cmon Axew keep up!" He yelled, as he now rushed towards Route 8U.

Mira turned around. Someone was coming down Route 8U. "Wanna go say hi?" She asked Char, who barked in reply, wagging her tail. "Alright, then."
