Marrow huffs. "Don't you see? You'll literally KILL HER FASTER!" Marrow shakes her head, unfolds her wings, motions with her tail for him to follow, and flies back to the library.

Vicky glances up at them as Marrow clicks her teeth together. She drops the book on her lap and sits on the arm of the chair. She points at Ricky, then the book, then up at the ceiling with a snort.

"O-oh? Explain?" Vicky asks.

Marrow nods.

Marrow flips open the book to a certain page with her tail.

"O-oh! Their main source of energy and power comes from love. They feed off it, using physical contact. Without some sort of friendship, their powers fade and die, and so do they." Vicky glances at the dragon. "Why is this important?"

Marrow taps the book.

"U-uh, it's not just love, it's companionship. Families are kept close and siblings feed off each others presence. However, if lost or separated, they can survive for a few years without companionship. See, Galaxy's in no danger."

Marrow taps the book again, as if telling her to keep reading.

"Ah, the signs of them being low on companionship is their eye color fading and a more tired personality. Negative energy can..." Vicky trails off, staring at the book.

"Negative energy can quicken it, not by much, but can shorten it. But Galaxy has only been without Jaxin for a month, she can't be dying already, right?" Vicky says.

"Faded eyes." Marrow replies.

"Oh stars, what must have happened? How could someone generate that much negative energy to kill someone that fast?"
