When Jackson was pulled to the 'split', the chains stopped, as if
they weren't sure of his gender. His face flamed bright red, and he
gave a small tug towards the men's line, then proceeded to be
dragged along into it. Oh dear. His focus snapped for a
moment, and the roar of even more minds caused his face to go from
fiery tomato to as white as a sheet. The nearest person was now
Oliver, but for some reason his concentration snapped back to
Greyson. It was probably because he'd already visited the boy's
mind, or because Oliver had some sort of secret he'd buried down
deep, causing defenses to fall in place at the hint of prying.
Abby yelped as she was refastened to the line, and gave another
experimental tug. This time the chains barely budged, as if they'd
repaired themselves and refortified to protect themselves from her
strength. Well, it looks like I'll be here for awhile, then.
The redhead thought, walking in time with the other girls.
Drew snapped out of his trance. He looked around. He noticed that
he was dragging along the end of a chain, which was connected to
many other people he knew. Drew noticed that he was the only one
that took longer to snap out of the trance, which he was mad about.
He got up to his feet, and started to trace memories to what
happened. While he did so, he not knowingly walked to the men's
line.
"Mavet, you lead the boys to their cabins, I'll take the girls."
Mavet nodded, and beckoned the boys to follow. They started to
walk, and Grey followed.
The woman named Sarah led the girls, walking nonchalantly. Harper
followed quickly behind the girl, biting her lip.
Oliver sighed, and realized they'd made it to the cabins. "We trust
you a bit. But if you break that trust... It won't be pretty. We
have guys that can get you back get in seconds. Alright, let's go."
Mavet said, opening the men's door.
Harper blinked as they got close to the girl's cabin. It looked
big...
Jackson, bored of sifting through Greyson's thoughts, moved on to a
new subject. He hardly even noticed entering the men's cabin,
blindly walking whichever way the chains tugged. Mavet seemed like
an interesting, and powerful girl, and he was curious as to were
they where, and if there where any ways out. The brunette assumed
these where the kinds of things someone like her would know, and
proceeded to move his focus to their mind, once more quieting the
minds around him, and delving into her brain.
Abby stumbled into the ladies cabin, taking in her surroundings.
The place was huge, and the redhead quietly wondered how
many people where there. A shiver ran down her spine, and she took
into consideration what Mavet had said before entering the opposing
sex's quarters, 'we can easily get you back'. Abigail bit her lip,
brows creasing. This could be quite the predicament.
Matthew followed Mavet soundlessly, wondering about the mysterious
circus member.
Sei followed Sarah, nervous. She was uncomfortable with all these
people, and with her new powers, she was even more scared that she
would spontaneously combust. That boy who saved her last time
wasn't here now, so if she did go up in flames, Sei don't know what
to do.
Sarah grinned at the girls. They had been pulled into the main
hall, and she snapped. The chains snapped off, and fell. They
floated out the door, and Sarah grinned. The same thing happened to
the boy's chains, and they were allowed to wander. "Make yourselves
at home. I'll be back to tell you when it's curfew." Sarah left,
closing the door behind her.
Grey looked around the cabin. "Woah." He muttered. The place was
huge. Mavet left quickly, letting the boys wander. They sighed,
shutting the front door softly and scampering off to their private
cabin.
Oliver smiled, and raced upstairs. "I call a top bunkkkk!" He
yelled, and climbed up the ladder to a bunk.
Benny ran after him, "I call the bottom!" He exclaimed jumping on
the bed below Oliver's. He then climbed up the ladder onto Oliver's
bed. Pulling him into a hug, Benny whispered, "I missed hugging
you."
Taking the bottom bunk closest to the door, Sei fidgeted nervously.
She hoped that she would get a bunk mate, but she knew that no one
would like a spontaneously combusting girl right under them.
Matthew took the bottom bunk closest to the window. Opening the
window, Matthew sat on the window sill, looking at the veiw.
"Yeah I have!" Benny exclaimed, his eyes twinkling slightly but
still had a twinge of guilt. 'Why did I have to find mine out
before him!?' Wailed Benny inside. "Close your eyes and I'll show
you!" Benny whispered, and as he kissed Oliver, he reduced the
gravity, making him and Oliver float.
Harper sighed. "I don't like bottom bunks though..." She smiled at
Sei. "Hey, can I take the bunk above you?" She asked, smiling.
Oliver blinked at the kiss, and his face heated up.
'Ohmygodohmygodohmygod!!' His thoughts screamed, and he
pulled back for air. His eyes were wide, and his lipstick smeared.
