Bert followed Oliver through-out the diner. "Hey, you did a pretty
good job on the decorations!" I say, as I look at all the
decorations all around the diner, neatly placed.
Merinn had been walking around the town for quite the time now and
had just landed in a, for her, less known part of it. She was also
really craving a cup of coffee, so she was already scanning the
streets for café's. That's when she saw the sign with "Salt 'n
Pepper Diner" written on it. "Perfect", she thought to herself, and
she went inside.
Lola giggled. "Sorry! But you gotta admit, you kinda liked
it!" She said over her shoulder. Lola skated to the door. She
greeted Merrin. "Welcome to the Salt 'n' Pepper Diner! Do you want
a booth or counter seat?" she asked friendlily.
¨Sure thing, sweetie!¨ Lola said in her Irish brouge. She led
Merrin to a booth. ¨I'm Lola, and I'll be your waitress! Now, do
you know what you want or do you want to look over the menu?¨ she
asked cheerily.
"Um, I'll just take a seat then..." Bert shivered. Why was he not
responding? Does he have something that he forgot, and trying to
remember? Or was it a mental disorder?
elizabeth got back up after taking a little break and went back to
the girl she had seated.
''alright miss, have you decided or do you need some more time?''
she asked, looking at shadow and holding up her little notepad to
take an order.
