"That's... an interesting way to get here... But there is a way to
find out.. Just, don't, like, start taking this in a
different way, if you catch my meaning..." he said, reaching
towards her throat to brush some of her hair away from it.
Bella scrambled back, sobbing. She clutched herself, shaking and
crying. She couldn't loose Evelyn. No... She could live without
Eveyln. Her teeth chattered and she felt Evelyn's blood on her
cheek in a handprint.
Max was asleep, looking disturbed. Due to his connection with Bella
and Evelyn, even in his sleep he knew something was very wrong.
He dropped his hand as he didn't see the scar. "Hmm.. Seems you
were born one. Forgive me if this is a rather personal, um,
question, but.. how old are you? As far as I can tell,
transformations start as young as five and as old as fifteen..."
Alica scooped up Max and held him as he slept. "I'm so sorry I let
you get hurt."
Camila started to talk in a foreign language. Evelyn's wound
disappearing and reappearing on Camila. Camila grunted as the deed
was finally done in 5 minutes. She pulled out a bottle of strange
red liquid and drank it. The wound began to heal a bit.
"Hmm. ...I do wonder which side you got it from.. in the long past
war... or sides... and the clans... or maybe outsiders... seeing as
you weren't trained and started as late as you could... then you
could have been abandoned..." he continued on quietly, a murmur
that was nearly inaudible.
,,Well i am orphan so..I guess you are right.." she looked down. The
fact she was abandoned was making her hate herself because her
parents didn't want her.
“Please. Heal Bella next.” Lance muttered. “I’ll survive for
another good while.” The adrenalin flooded wore off, as Lance
slowly shifted back to his normal human self. “Hey Lance.” His
other self whispered. “Don’t you dare die. One day, I’ll come after
you myself.” Chuckling darkly, his other self fell silent, as Lance
said nothing, looking at the ground blankly.
Camila motioned both of them to come to her she was still in pain
so she couldn't walk. "Please trust me."
"Aw common I know you love me now Raven. You can't escape me now."
Sammy said teasingly
"But being born to outsiders doesn't mean they just straight up
abandoned you because they dislikes you! Outsiders are some of the
hardest workers and best parents, they just can't raise a kid,
since for the first years of a werecat's life, it needs constant
supervision, lest something... happen..." he said, then stopped,
remembering his little sibling's... blood... on HIS paws... when
his parents found out.. when... everyone found out...
“I-no. I can’t.” Lance shook his head. “I don’t know what wound I
got anyways.” Lifting his hand away, Lance looked at the gaping
hole in his abdomen. “Besides, I hurt you. I can’t forgive myself
for that.”
