"Sorry if I scared you." He murmured as he shrug his shoulders ans smiled awkwardly.
As they both got outside the dormbuilding, Leo drew a deep breath, tasting the outdoors in his lungs once again. It seemed to calm him down a little. He glanced up to Mitch backhead.
"Im slow, you know." Leo smirked a little, trying to make the situation a little less chilly.
"Sort of.." He murmured into his scarf a little embarassed again about the bad joke. He didn't look at Mitch at all, instead to the left, locating signs on a pole, each of them pointing in different directions.
"Town is that way." Leo pointed in the same direction as the sign saying 'Little Ramsay downtown'. He was actually not super excited about the town. It would probably be like any other small town. Maybe a mall if they were lucky, probably alot of cafeterias, a bookstore and a small park. He glanced at Mitch again before smiling a little.
"What do you want to do when we get there?" He asked softly, with a thin voice.
Hearing about the window shopping took him out of his bubble. Checking Mitch empty wallet, and then hearing about getting a job, made him giggle a little. He couldn't help but thinking Mitch laugh were cute. His whole face was cute when he laughed. Mitch was really a funny guy, Leo didn't know about himself. He often used to laugh at his own jokes when nobody else did.
"We should exchange numbers." Leo smiled softly with a small blush over his cheek and nose, hoping he didn't seem clingy or something. Looking at Mitch a few seconds more, he then pulled out his mobile from his left front-pocket in his jeans. But wait, what if Mitch didn't want to? LEONARD LAMB, get yourself together and stop thinking that way.
"Have you been waiting long?" He asked, with a soft, yet suspicious voice. He looked at the book, then Emmas face.
As he was about to swing the door open, few pieces of paper were slipped through the letterbox on the door. Still keeping his hands in his pockets, Colt leaned his upper body down to squint at what they said. They were apparently their schedules. He didn't bother picking his up, instead he just straightened himself again and stepped over the papers to open the door. They'd still be there on the floor when they got back.
Once in the hall, on the way outside, Colt took a glance at Napoleon. "Anywhere specific you wanna go by the way?" Might as well ask since he didn't have any actual plans.
Sirnef had given up trying to find the park by randomly wandering, he picked his map out from his bag, having himself look a bit silly trying to pick a fry with one hand. He put his map back in his bag, just realizing that his dog had been rubbing his head on his leg from a lack of snacks. He threw a nugget down, muttering silly dog, while his dog wildly charged straight at if. He continued walking, this time in the right direction, and managed to run out of his fries before running out of chicken nuggets. He reached the park and managed to find a quiet bench somewhere that seemed near the corner, where he finally finished his chicken nuggets, well his dog did, but close enough. He cleaned up his hands with some tissue, and threw away his trash, and sat down in mostly silence.
Once they got outside, Colt came to a stop as he took a look around. Which way to go first? He'd probably get to see plenty of the school itself and the dining hall very soon so perhaps he shouldn't spent his time on that now. Oh, he could see a forest a bit further away. And then he got an idea that was possibly a bad one.
With a grin, Colt pointed a thumb at his red jacket. "How about I play Little Red Hiding Hood. And you-" He then pointed his index finger at Napoleon's chest. "-You can be the grandma." Then Colt was off, heading towards the forest. "Let's go find ourselves a wolf!" he exclaimed with determination. Going off into a strange forest dressed kind of lightly in February most likely wasn't a very good idea.
But good ideas are boring anyway.
When his roommate suggested the plan, he mostly just stood there, confused at what his roommate had just said. He wondered what his roommate was doing, going straight into the forest, wait, he was serious about finding a wolf was he. This probably wasn't going to end well was it, eh, whatever, he's handled worse…probably. He followed behind his roommate, going rather slowly, having a feeling that he hadn't realized something. Until it hit him "wait a munite, I'm not a grandma!" He shouted, suddenly chasing after his roommate "get back here and take that back!"
"wait a minute, I'm not a grandma!" Following the shout, Colt glanced over his shoulder to look at Napoleon who started running towards him. "get back here and take that back!"
Grinning wide, Colt also broke into a run. "You gotta catch me first!" He yelled defiantly, his eyes still on his roommate. Which is why he wasn't really looking where he was going and bumped his shoulder into some student holding a pile of papers beside a bench with a pretty frail looking girl. "Sorry! On the run from an enraged grandma!" Colt yelled after himself as he continued running, not bothering to stop to check if he'd done any damage.
No, no it wasn't like he didn't bother checking on the poor paper-student. He couldn't. His very life was on the line, dammit. Angry grandmas were not to be trifled with.
