The Age of Solitude
Forum-Index → Roleplay → The Age of SolitudeWhile waiting for her reacción, she was already with another customer.
"Yeah, of course" Amelia said trying to not disturbe her "but do you mind to wait a bit? This place is crowded with people and I will hate to take your time while you could be getting deals" she explained.
"By the way, my name is Amelia, nice to meet you. I'll be nearby for when you have spare time"

She sat on a nearby fountain, choosing carefully a dry spot on the borders, and picked again the old book from her sack.
She would kill a bit of time trying to figure how to read it.

"You asked about the story of this flute and how it reached my hands" she said to her when she was enough nearby. "The truth is that I don't know the full story of the flute, but let me tell you what I know"
"Believe it or not, this flute was made by a fire seraph and a earth one who worked together and it was made on a bet. A wind seraph challenged two of his friends to make the best wind instrument they could. He was a really cocky and arrogant seraph, and threatened the other two to do it. The earth seraph dug on the most sacred mountain of the land and got the purest piece of silver, the fire seraph melted it and both worked to give it form. They worked for a lot of years and finally completed the flute, but when they went to the wind seraph he was already dead".
Amelia did a long pause before continuing.
"I don't know what happened next, the flute just changed owner a lot of times, but after hundreds of years, it reached my master" she added in a low voice: "He was a wind seraph too, just like you are, I am wrong?"

"I suppose I am a wind seraph.." Ryu replied, interested in the story. "Interesting. So I suppose you grew upu with a wind seraph, which explains how you can also sense that I'm a seraph, correct?"
"I don't know if I was a bastard or a child of a poor family, but the truth is that I knew I was an unwanted child. So, they abandoned me on the mountains, to die when I was a newborn. But in the mountains, there was a old and forgotten temple where a single wind seraph lived. He heard my cries and took me under his care, raising me... aaaaand that's how I got the flute", she said ending her story.

She couldn't identify until it crashed (thanks to her interlocutor) in the water of the fountain. It was a fine and pretty arrow, which probably would have hit her if she were alone.
Feeling unease, she took her own bow from her back and assembled an arrow on it, almost ready to open fire just in case it were an attack.
"Actually" Amelia said "It's this bow. It's supposed to be charged with ice arts arrows, but I can't do that"

Looking at Amelia's bow, Ryu frowned. "I certainly do sense ice seraphic arts from it, but how is it supposed to work? Perhaps you might need a Ice seraph to show you how to pull the maximum power from it."
She didn't sense any type of hostility, so she dismounted the arrow from the bow and put both back on their place on her back.
"So, meanwhile, I just have to stick to normal arrows"
