Anyone here who has completed Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky may know about Sky Gift, boxes found only at Sky Peak that can't be opened by the person who found them. Only someone who receives a Sky Gift can open it.

I thought it would be cool if you could find Sky Gifts while rumbling, and in your item bag, (like how evolution stones have the "use" option,) have the option to send it to someone. Then you can enter in the username of the receiver, or just choose to send it to a random person. (Maybe it would go to someone currently online or online within the past few days, so they won't keep piling up on users that don't go onto Pokeheroes.)

i love pretty much everything about this idea, especially the sending it to someone random idea

maybe there could be options to send it either with a name or message attached, or to send it off anonymously too, i imagine getting one of these at random would be a good way to brighten someone's day, along with the added bonus of encouraging people to be on more

the contents would ultimately be up to riako, but basically everything's pretty much laid out in the first post

a box with an item in it that's meant not for you to open, but to send to others

the general point is in the giving of gifts to someone else

I like this idea too ^^, like tina, only if it's for a random user, because people would send it to his friends and maybe would be "forever alone" users (xD), that wouldn't receive a Sky Gift

I support this completely!

Although, I would like to add, perhaps only being able to send to one person, once a day.

So if you sent one to your friend, you couldn't send any more to that person on that day. You'd have to send it to another friend, or a random person.
Depending on how often you find them and how many friends you have I'm guessing you'd still be sending them to random people more often than not.

I'm supporting this~ I never played Sky (love the mystery dungeon series, though), but this sounds like a great idea.

If it's possible, maybe there could be an option to send them to a user who recently completed their intro? So it's a new user, but some one who might stick around a bit and won't have them just pile up.

I like the idea and I want to support it. Especially the thought that you can only get it from others. :>

Nope. If you've ever played Explorers of Sky, you would know. I've tried. They're impossible to open unless someone else gives them to you.

That's a great idea! Then it would encourage people to send them to a lot of people, not just one person.

support for this idea as well! some people have a lot of friends they keep in contact with and would be sending the majority of their sky gifts to them, but others who aren't really settled into a network of friends on here (i'm guilty) would be sending them out at random, so i think it would be pretty evened out between the two different sets of people

Full support, so long as you can indeed give them to a specific person as well as random!

@Tina and KevinXDE: I disagree with the "only for a random user." In Explorers of Sky, you couldn't send them to random members - you had to choose a specific guild member. I like that this suggestion gives the option of giving them to random users, but making it exclusively for random users would be completely changing the idea from the games - not to mention that the item itself is supposed to be a "token of appreciation" in the game, and only sending them to random users completely defeats that purpose.

As for the suggestion itself, I have already made a post earlier.
