"...If you want me to let it go Esp, fine.." he sighed, then shot a dagger like glance at Stella "But if I catch you messing with Esp, I'll make your life a living hell. You can count on that." he dropped Stella onto the ground.

"It won't mess with me, so don't worry." Espy said, giving Kain a reassuring smile. She knelt down and ran her hand over the galaxy patterned fur of the cat. She smiled at it, scratching in between the ears of the kitty.

Stella's heart was beating faster than a roller coaster. I'm safe. I'm safe. she thought, trying to calm herself. When one of the people petted her, she purred. Maybe I should try and return to a human... she thought. But a little more petting would be nice.

"It will, cats are evil. Spawns of Satan, kind of like Mosquitoes." Kain told Espy "Don't touch it, it might have Rabies." he warned. He's always had a bad feeling about cats, every since he was a little boy. "I'm watching you." he told Stella.

Nighthope dove down and sniffed the tree, the followed the scent and found a scavenger den with two scavengers and Stella as a cat.

[Scavenger is the Wings of Fire term for humans.]

"Chill, Kain. It's fine." Espy said, continuing to run her fingers along the purring cat. She loved animals, cats included. She giggled, a pretty smile on her lips. She sighed, rolling onto her bum and continued to stroke the beautiful pelt of the cat.

When Stella saw the knife, she shrunk back a little. No, I have to. Before that guy kills me... she thought. She closed her eyes, turned into a human, and braced herself for the worst.

Espy reeled backwards, letting out a fearful yelp. She saw that the once adorable cat was now a human. She felt her eyes widen and she blushed a light grey.

Kain was furiously cutting up vegetables in the kitchen for a soup. "They think I'm crazy.. I'm not crazy.." he muttered. "I showed them, ha! 'It's a human' I said, but nobody listens to little ol' me.." he continued to mutter, cutting up the vegetables faster. He continued to mutter to himself, but then he ran out of vegetable to slice, cutting his own hand by accident. "Goddammit!" he yelled. "I'm such an idiot." he spat, his wound recovering at an astonishing rate.

Espy was about to say something when she heard someone shout a profanity. She jumped up, racing into the kitchen. "Kain? Kain, are you alright?" She asked, walking over to him. Her voice was dripping with worry.

"I just cut myself with a knife, of course I'm alright." he said, the wound was recovering. But he forgot to remove the knife from his hand "Whoops." he yanked the kitchen utensil from his hand, reopening the wound. "God hates me." he muttered, the wound recovering as usual.
