"Like I said, it was a bad dream." Kain said quietly, he then got up quickly pulling out his knife. "Someone's here." he said. "Show yourself." his voice boomed across the house, walking away from the couch, unsheathing his knife.

Espy yelped, cowering at the end of the couch. She wasn't good around people, her father gave her a terrible impression of them. Kain and her mother were the only ones she'd ever gotten close to, and one of them was dead. She looked around, terror visible in her jade eyes.

"Tch.." Kain spat, he heard something. It was so slight, it sounded like a cat meowing "I found you." he walked towards Stella, knife in hand. "You know.. it's quite rude to barge into someone's house.." he stared at Stella, a murderous look in his eyes.

Kain picked up Stella by her scruff, holding the knife up to her neck "What're you doing here?" he asked, looking into her pure white eyes. What an unusual fur pattern. Well, if I do kill her, she'd make a pretty good scarf. he thought.

I... I don't even know... she meowed. If only I could be understood by non-mind readers... she thought. She knew she was too scared to turn into a human right now, so she didn't bother.
