Missy had apparently skipped half the day sleeping in her dorm.
When she woke up she went to the shared mail room, before heading
outside. She tore open the pile of envenlopes in her hands talking
to herself she muttered
"Your math scores are low, this is a reminder that math test is
coming soon it will count as 20% of your grade...blah ...blah
...blah...next!"
She looked at the other letter, a letter from her mom she read
outloud, "Father and I are making a new garden. Your school called
and talked to us about your low grades. You know how important it
is to graduate this year...yada yada...yada...and last one."
The last letter was simply a lunch menu, which reminded Missy she
was hungry. She went back to her dorm and took our her already
prepared lunch from the dorms mini fridge before heading outside to
eat. She could hear a violin playing, a slow song, Missy much
preferred something with more of a beat.
Charlotte glanced to her side, noticing the mysterious female, she
believed she heard people calling her Missy?
She wasn't intimidated, more so intrigued. She wouldn't show it,
however. She was the queen bee Mega Gengar! She couldn't be seen
acting anything less than a queen should. Or at least, that is what
her peers told her.
Yet she still stared the girl down, trying to figure her out from a
distance.
She too was getting a bit bored with the slow paced music and
averted her gaze back to Lilly, a slow smile spread across her lips
as an idea formed.
Groaning hearing the violin, Tori, sweet into her room, closing it.
Taking out a CD track, she put it into her music player, putting
the volume on low before listing to more of a upbeat music in her
room.
Missy felt watched and peeked over the pile of letters and
envelopes still in her hand to see a purple cat like spiky haired
girl starring at her. She knew her name was Charlotte, and that she
seemed to be part of the popular girl lunch table. This of course
meant Missy wasn't suppose to talk to her, unless spoken to first.
That seemed to be the popular girl rule.
Missy glanced down at her feet after realizing she hadn't taken her
eyes off Charlottes purple hair.
Sitting in the shade, Andrea looked at the clouds realizing what
excitement brings for her, "I am constantly thinking about the
tryouts, I wish I can speak to one of my professor but I need to
speak to one of the students who goes to the school". So Andrea got
up and left outside to return indoors.
Though Charlotte was indeed popular, she was also goth, and she
felt a connection to Missy. So in a split second she disappeared,
reappearing behind Lilly and snatching the violin from her. She
hopped out of the female's reach before she could snatch it back
and began playing one of her favorite fast paced songs, Europe
Skies by Alexander Rybak.
Being the mischievous female she was, she hopped around Lilly in
circles in a dancing fashion, livening up the courtyard with the
beautiful song. Sunconsciously she glanced back at Missy to see if
she enjoyed the tune. After a moment she realized what she was
doing and snapped her attention back to her music.
Missy couldn't help but give a shy smile at the look of Charlotte
stealing the violin and playing a completely different tune. Missy
had noticed Charlotte's glance, and gave small approving nod. She
put down down the letters, and danced to the beat giving one final
twirl before sitting on the ground. She had forgotten about her
lunch, so Missy opened her bento box, and ate while listening to
the music Charlotte now played.
Charlotte grinned at Missy's approval, though her smile naturally
came out as a smirk, it was genuine none the less. The female's
large purple ears twitched each time she concentrated on something,
this case being correctly playing the song. After that song faded,
she warped it into Lindsey Stirling's Moon Trance, now in extreme
concentration.
The bushy eared Charlotte did however, feel bad for taking Lilly's
violin. So after this song finished she planned to give her the
violin back, and any money thay she was given for the two songs she
had played.
(OOC: I have to go eat lunch in real life, but I'll be back later
tonight. I'm eastern time zone. See you later!)
Missy enjoyed both songs that Charlotte played, and was sorry it
had to end. She gave a small wave at Charlotte as well as a $5.00
tip catching her eyes for just a moment whispering "thank you".
Then turned and walked towards the dorm hallways. Missy didn't care
about her grades but she knew her parents did. This means she
actually had to study for that Math test.
A dark red blush spread across her cheeks as Missy thanked her
unexpectedly, catching her off guard. "Y-you're welcome.."
She cringed at her own unbecoming nervousness. After regaining her
posure she took an exaggerated bow to the rest of the students
before handing the violin back to Lilly and pushing the total of
$20 into her hands that she had made. She gave another smirk before
disappearing again.
A little later she reappeared in her dorm, sighing heavily and
resting on her giant bean bag in the corner. She made a
personalized corner with white Christmas lights, a bean bag, and
three bookshelves to inclose her in. She always had to climb over
them to get to her special spot.
She then opened her science book and, begrudgingly, began to study.
After a frustrating long time, Tori finally got her score up to
2000, but was still second. Throwing her DS onto her bed, she
grabbed her textbook, aimlessly flipping through them. "I know
that, and that, mmhm, that too...." sighing, she reached for her
history text book, mentally preparing herself for the onslaught of
dates.
"Thanks..." Lilly said, kind of intimidated. She had known the tune
Charlotte was playing, and suddenly realized the song she had
played was a bit on the boring side. So, she decided to go with a
more dark and existing song, like "Telemann Solo". After playing
that for a bit, Lilly decided to see Charlotte, and complement her
violin skills. Lilly was determined to find her.
Charlotte's room was in the west wing, easy to find due to her door
being dark royal purple. It took a lot of convincing, and..
Manipulation.. To get the principle to allow this.
The female smacked her face into the science book and let out a
prolonged grunt of disgust, muttering to herself "we all know
mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell! How am I possibly going
to use this in real life?! Ugh!!"
Andrea returned inside, then walked to find a school counselor, "I
don't know if it have to do my schedule because I have so many
spares and that shouldn't happen". Andrea walked to the office.
After wondering for a bit, Lilly found a purple door that read "Get
out." On the front, in a dark crimson. "Yep, that's Charlottes dorm
alright." Lilly thought with a chuckle. Lilly did have some doubts,
and some fear, but she brushed it off, claiming somebody 2 inches
shorter then her can't do more damage then she can. Lilly then
knocked without hesitation. While waiting for an answer, she
straightened her posture, and fluffed her foe fur beanie she was
wearing with a long lace sweater, and black tee tucked under some
jeans.
"Oh, I need to go to the Berry shop, Window shop, and the paint
shop." She said with a grin. "And the woodworking store." She said
to herself. The list was very complicated, so she wanted to get
more than enough of what she needed just in case.
Charlotte's ears perked up at the sound of the knock, she certainly
wasn't used to people getting the nerve to seek her out. Maybe it
was a mistake? The female stood up in her tight black jeans which
had a tinted purple shine to them, patting the wrinkles out of her
tight purple "always keep fighting" campaign shirt. She attempted
to crawl over her bookshelves, shouting out "one moment!!"
After she got ontop of the bookshelves she lost balance and slammed
to the floor, groaning "dammit!.." The female stood up, now with a
few bruises, and opened the door to see Lilly standing there with a
confident expression on her face. Charlotte stared her down.
"...yes?"
"Umm" Lilly lost all of her confidence instantly, but didn't want
to show it. "I just thought that your really good at violin, and I
hope we can play together sometime." Lilly said, trying to seem
confident. "If your not busy, do you want to come to my dorm for a
sleepover tonight?" Its a Saturday night! We can draw, and play
violin, and make..." Lilly's voice trailed off from there. "So what
do ya say?" Lilly asked, getting existed.
The female stared blankly at Lilly as she rambled on,
subconsciously shielding her room from the girl's eyes so she
couldn't see all of her guilty pleasures. She had to put on a fake
face after all.
Once Lilly finished talking, Charlotte remained silent for nearly a
minute, just staring at her. "....."
"You... Want to hang out.. With ME?" She clearly seemed confused,
as most people were afraid of Charlotte by nature. Personally she
thought the Dark types would be more frightening than her, that's
not to say she was though. She looked up to the dark types.
Snapping back to attention, she spoke again. ".. You sure you have
the right dorm? You want to chill with me?"
