Missy clapped at the announcement, and then smiled wondering how the new boy, she believed was named Jackson, was going to dance with three girls at once. It was a funny image.

She glanced at Charlotte acting guilty and felt guilty. Missy was her date after all and didn't want her date to be unhappy. She put a reassuring hand over Charlotte's hand.

Charlotte grumbled from the corner "I vote for Pepper still."
She glanced over at Missy with a soft smile. The whole prom situation put her in a bad mood with the queen and king situation and other things. She patted Missy's shoulder with a short "I'm fine, don't worry." She moved over to a table and sat down in exhaustion.

Missy took one of the voting slips of paper and put it into the box for the tie breaker. Then whispered to Charlotte "I'm glad you are okay."
