"Hi, my mom made me do gym today..."Pepper said before she saw the
gym teacher look at her, like she was the worst kid in school, "I
thought your arm was broken, so why are you taking notes with it?"
She asked, with a serious tone. "Oh, uh..." Pepper said in reply.
"Go do 30 laps around the gym, NOW!" She said to Pepper, acting
like a drill sergeant.
Andrea was running laps around the gym with the basketball in her
hand, "Oh perfect, the gym teacher telling us to do laps around the
gym now that's a laugh, I got a basketball in my hand, and I will
prove her wrong", Andrea said.
Charlotte smacked her hand down on the desk when she glanced over
to Tori and Amour, reading the title of Tori's book. "aaayyyy! I am
on that book in the series also!"
Pepper was really out of breath at 3 laps, and changed her pace
from "wonderer" to "choking slug" "I don't think I will make it,
tell my story!" Pepper joked in a real-way. Then she went back to
dragging herself.
Almost getting a heart attack from Charlotte, Tori jumped, scared.
"Um.. W-when Dobby give Harry the Gillyweed." She stuttered, her
heart hammering seriously in her chest.
"Oooooh, that was an important part." Amour stated seriously,
blinking. "I'm rereading them, but I left it in my dorm by
accident. I'm at the part where Harry and Ron are arguing."
"Hey Pepper!" Um, so I know you don't really trust me for some
reason, but I really want you to like me!" Lilly said. Only a few
people in this school wasn't fond of her, but Pepper stood out to
her. She was so popular among the geeks, and Lilly felt a
connection to her.
"You don't just say, please like me, and I will like you." Pepper
forced out of her vocal cords with her last breath. "Andrea, can
you help me, I'm choking on the perfume!" Pepper said walking to
Andrea.
"It's called Flora Diore! It has a nice floral scent!!" Lilly said,
getting quiter as Pepper walked farther away. "One day.." Lilly
thought as she started to dribble across the gym.
"Who cares!" Pepper said, running away as fast as she could, witch
was a sluggish pace. "Andrea, pleeese!" Pepper yelled trying not to
get the gym teacher to hear.
After doing 17 laps around the gym, Andrea switched hands when
using the basketball, and continued on, "Still, how am I suppose to
use the left hand to dribble the ball while running laps", then she
heard Pepper's voice and said sadly, "Pepper I'm sorry but I have
to follow the gym leader's rules".
Missy was late to gym class as usual, purple hair dye took a long
time to dry, not that it really mattered. She hadn't bothered
wearing her gym clothes instead taking the note excusing her from
participating to the teacher same as she always did. She glanced at
girl who seemed already out of breath, Pepper yes that was her
name. Oh and the faster of the two was Andrea. Missy didn't know
why she bothered memorizing anyone names, it's not like anyone
really spoke to her.
The gym teacher gave her note a nod, and off Missy went to sit on
the benches her notebook open. She hated gym class, well she hated
most classes except maybe art and music. She bit the end of her
pencil as she concentrated on her latest sketch, a fairy with dark
long wings.
Missy glanced up the noise of the basketballs was a little bit
distracting. She flicked a strand of purple hair off her shoulder
and closed her eyes. With her eyes closed the noise reminded her of
a good song beat, and she fought the urge to tap her shoes along
with it. Then digging out her CD player and headphones she turned
the volume on and went back to work. She drew the last bit of the
fairy's right foot then stared at the picture before tearing it out
of her notebook all together.
