"You don't understand, do you. No one ever liked me. I had no
friends. I still don't. No one can stand me. I was hoping I could
find someone in you. But then you just immediately you go on with
all girls. it's torture for me. Goodbye. I'm not going to the ball
- I'm resigning myself from the school."
"You don't act like it." She said quietly. "You can't dance with
every girl in the school, Chase. You must decide on one. And that
one is not going to be me. I'm still resigning myself. "
Chase smiled. "I really don't know how to be friendly, sense I was
friendless for 8 years and still counting. But There is more than
one song. And I want to dance with you first."
She shook her head. "There is more then friendship Chase. More then
friendship." Her words echoed around the room. She went out of the
music room and changed to a short, tight dress and high-heels. She
took her bag and went to the director. After a long while she
returned. "Goodbye, you all."
Coal looked at Lacsita, in an almost upset way. She didn't say
anything, Simply shook her head again and rubbed her eyes, walking
back towards her dorm. She ignored Chase.
"I don't know how, but you'll see me again. Soon." She said
quietly. She stepped out of the school. I wonder if they'll
guess that I'm just going to be the gardener's helper.
