It would be kinda cool that in Gem collector if there was a way to
trade an extra pokemon that you have for gems. just choose a
pokemon that you don't need and trade it for gems. kinda like how
you trade gems for pokemon eggs in the Gem collector.
For example: i'm going to do a Shiny Mega Sableye hunt here when i
get enough gems. i have some extra ghost type pokemon. it'd be cool
if i could exchange them for gems say i'd get maybe 10 gems from
the pokemon.
dragon gems should be limited just because it would make it easier
for people to get dragon gems and the price would go down.
like say you wanted to trade a Gible for ground and dragon gems.
You'd get 10 ground gems and 2 dragon or so on.
Its not good I think, then its just to hunt pokemon to get dragon
gems and everything would be too easy and everyone could get rich
fast and easy = NOT funny to play this game then
could make it harder to obtain dragon gems or other more rare gems.
just lower the amount of gems you get. but say you put a harder
legendary pokemon into it. you'd get more gems. the rarity would
determine what you get in gem currency.
Much like giving gems to Get pokemon eggs you could give Pokemon to
Get Gems.
I see nothing wrong with it. And it's a good suggestion. Though
others might see it as un-needed.
Really though, this would be something awesome to Add-On. And quite
useful instead of trying to buy gems and not get any luck in that
department. xP
Support for the most part, but two suggestions for this
suggestion:
1: Limit the amount of Pokémon you can trade per day, to prevent
the mass production of rarer gems.
2: In regards to Dragon Gems, they need to be more limited than "A
Gible gives you two Dragon Gems". A Gible is around 7K PD and
Dragon Gems are 50K a pop, so... unbalanced. I'd say maybe if you
traded "12x Dragon Type Pokémon" It would give you one Dragon Gem.
In conjunction with my first suggestion, it would work well ^^
I think this is a good idea, but I can see it being easily abused.
You are doing a shiny mega hunt, you're going to have a lot of
unneeded, non-shiny, Sableye. You could easily just trade these in
and get more gems for the hunt. What I'm saying is that this may
unbalance somethings and it would have to be implemented in a
controlled way.
(1)A fix to this potential problem would be something like how
Emera Beach changes it's offers every day, the gem collector may
only want one type of pokemon or a pokemon with a mixed typing like
the ground/dragon typed Gibble you mentioned.
(2)Another fix would be to have individual pokemon worth less or
force you to turn in multiple of the same kind/type of pokemon to
even things out. Perhaps this may change based on pokemon rarity
you may need a "large" number of easy pokemon to receive so many
gems but for the same number of gems you may only need to turn in
one or two rare pokemon.
(3) A final option would be to only allow people to receive so many
gems in total per day. You could turn in what you wanted but only
receive a max number of gems.
I think that this is a great idea, so long as, as everyone who
supports it, or thinks with some adjustments it would be great, it
got some fine-tuning to it. I think almost all of the given changes
would work well, but I could be wrong. It would be interesting for
the gems to flow easier, for any reasons. It sounds like something
cool, especially for me, since I almost always have an over-flow of
Pokemon, and want to start making things in the cauldron for other
people as a small trade, just like I do occasionally with my
Starter Pokemon. Support! Definitely supported by me!
Just remember: You can't prove God didn't crawl out of the ocean.
I like this idea but yeah people would abuse. So I thought there
would be a max of 3-7 random Pokémon chose by the gem collector.
Also the amount of gems given out depend on the rarity of the
pokemon. So then it would be harder for people to abuse if someone
gets 20 rock and ground gems.
To make it extra hard we can randomize the amount of gems you get
of each type so then it's a bit risky to do it.
Ex. Kyogre - 50 water gems one time then 1000 water gems to someone
else.
