The wolf spread his wings, making Draco's flying going a little
sloppy. He let go of Draco, kicking him away. "You on me." He
hissed, his claws twitching slightly in rage. "You're all so
desperate to find out your pasts, shame your parents HATED you." He
teased, snarling.
"I honestly don't care." Draco bluntly said and grabbed the wolf's
wings and started tearing them off his body. Draco grunted in pain
as he continued to bleed but he continued to rip off the wolf's
wings.
"H-How an you be this strong?!" The wolf screamed, his eyes wide
with pain. The wolf scratched at Draco's face, catching his cheek
and just above his eye. His quickly spin around and kicked him
away, flying away as fast has he could, the other surviving wolf
further in front of him.
Draco landed back down on the ground and flew in through the
window. Draco was covering his eye with his hand. Draco helped
Storm stand up with his other hand, "You ok?" he asked
"Y-Yeah... I'm--" She began. "What happened to your..." She gently
brushed his hand aside and saw what the wolf had done to him. She
covered her mouth with her hands. "Draco... What the heck happened
out there?" She gasped, highly concerned. "At least he didn't catch
your eye..." She murmured.
"It's not as bad as it seems." Draco said. "My vision is just a
little bit blurry but he just scratched me a little bit. So don't
worry, I'll be fine."
"At least let me wipe most of the blood away!" She pleaded, feeling
guilty for all that he'd done for her. "I'm sorry I didn't help, I
feel like such a fool..." She muttered, gritting her teeth,
clenching her fists.
"I'm sorry... We are just all like a family... And doing stuff for
each other is what I think a family is like, you know? Being there
for one another. I just want to feel like I actually have a family,
even if you aren't actually my brother genetically." She explained,
smiling a little. "But if you're such, Mister Independent, then go
ahead and take care of yourself." She teased, chuckling.
"Well... I am younger... And actually pretty shorter than most of
us..." She sighed. "Alright then, you win. You have a point. But
age of not, I can still look after you if I want to." She admitted.
Storm grinned. "Draco? Smiling? That's not something you see
everyday..." She thought. "That's not something I get out of
you, usually. You near to never smile." She gave him a friendly
nudge. "But you gotta admit, I'm usually acting like the older one
when it comes to the teasing." She added, trying to gain a little
more authority back.
"You're not even going to fire any kinda of teasing or insult back
at me? Dang, you are really a cool guy aren't you? You're so
calm..." She replied. "How do you do it?" She asked quietly. "It's
so hard with the life we have. Always on edge with the wolves,
curious about our pasts, tying to be there for each other..."
"It would be a cool ability to have. But, I don't think I can do
that." She replied. "And no wonder your mind's like that. You're
always petty blunt and you rarely smile. But it's nice when you're
a little different." She replied.
