"Well, we could, but...it seems scary...but maybe we could get help from the guild members!" Manty says, and magically knows the location where Grassy Plateau is. He left Terra Town with Edelwise, and both walked to Grassy Plateaus.

"Of course it's scary Manty! That's what makes it fun!" She exclaimed, following him out of Terra Town and to where she now knew the Grassy Plateaus to be.

Once they had reached the area designated, Edelwise looked to Manty, bouncing excitedly from paw to paw. "Well, lead the way." She offered, partially because she didn't know where to go.

Manty was reading a paper. "Um, acording to the Official Exploration Guide, the main objective of dungeons are to climb on grey stairs to go to the next floor." Manty then looks foward: A gray stairs. He walks after it "Oh boy!" he ends up stumbling on a seed. Violent Seed "Hm..." he used a lens on the seed. Apparently, this seed made a Pokemon violent "Uh...lets just continue." Manty says, going to the next floor.

To climb gray stairs? Alright! She followed Manty up the stairs, not really paying attention to where they were going. She ran straight into the Mantyke when he stopped because of this. The force pushed her down with an "oomf" as Manty studied something called a Violent Seed. She stood up quickly, peering at the seed that Manty had passed over. She shrugged, picking it up while hiding it from her teammate who was already climbing. Maybe it would help later. She quickly followed the Mantyke to the next floor.

(Since I forgot to give levels to us, Edelwise and Manty gets 2 Levels)
(Oh, and this dungeon has 10 Floors)

After getting some berries and seeds, Manty and Edelwise finally found themselfs with the first battle: against a Level 5 Wild Skiddo. It used Tackle on Edelwise.

"Oh-my!" Manty used Supersonic on Skiddo. It missed.

(I'm just gonna make a personal note then that Edelwise is level 7 now.)

After climbing some more stairs and gathering more seeds and other things, they finally reached the fourth floor or so. She had pretty much lost track after the second floor.

Edelwise was not ready for a wild Pokemon to attack and Skiddo's tackle caught her completely off guard. The Electrike quickly bounced back to her feet and used Thunder Wave on the Skiddo. The Thunder Wave hit its target and paralyzed their opponent.

Skiddo was paralyzed! After a few tackles and attacks from Edelwise and Manty, Skiddo was defeated.

(Im just gonna jump all the boring floors and boring battles, if thats ok with you)

As they grabbed seeds and finally reached the last floor, a scream could be heard

"NO!!!" a voice said

"If we can't get your loyalt by good, then we're gonna do bad!" another voice says

Looking further, it was 3 Rattatas and 1 Shellder and 1 fainted Cubchoo with a thing on its head. Two of the Rattatas were grabbing the Shellder and the other one was with a weird device. The deviced Rattata was about to put the device, however the Shellder used its tongue to throw it away.

"Ugh, we've never found any stubborn Pokemon to brainwash than you!" a Rattata says, and looks over to the thrown device. It then looked at Manty and Edelwise "Heh, more rare Pokemon, eh?" Rattata asks

the two Rattata grabbing Shellder let off him, and grabbed one more device each. The Shellder ran directly to the fainted Cubchoo, removing the device from his head.

"Uh...um...I've got blast seeds!" Manty says

"And they're full of rare items!" Rattata says

"Oh god." Manty says

(Violent Seeds! Yesh! Watch out, here I come! Hey, do we get levels for beating that Skiddo?)

Edelwise grinned as the Skiddo was finally defeated. It felt good to have won her first battle. Their first battle. However, now that meant climbing more stairs. Silently sighing to herself, Edelwise followed Manty as they continued floor to floor.

As they reached the top floor, Edelwise felt a rush of emotions. Fear and excitement mingled together as she heard the scream and watched the scene play out. They got to fight bad guys after all.

The Rattata finally noticed she and Manty hiding in the corner and by this time she knew a battle was unavoidable. She quickly ate one of the Violent Seeds she had picked up without Manty noticing and instantly she felt stronger. She immediately rushed in to use tackle on the Rattata that had first spotted them.

(nope, I think that the mechanic of activity is fair enough)

Manty grabbed a Blast Seed out of their bags, and throwed it at a Rattata. It blasted the Rattata away, and took half of his HP. Rattata 2 used Quick Attack on Edelwise! Rattata 3 used Quick Attack on Edelwise!

"Hey! Don't hurt her!" Manty used Supersonic on Rattata 2. Rattata 2 became confused!

(Alright, just making sure. Don't want to overshoot and use the wrong moves ^.^')

Edelwise was unaware of her surroundings. All she cared about was attacking these fiends. She heard Manty call out somewhere in the distance and she turned to see two of the Rattata rushing at her. One was caught by Manty's supersonic, but the other kept coming. Edelwise smirked as she allowed the Rattata to get close and then used Thunder Wave, hoping to stop it while it was running.

Rattata 1 was paralyzed! Rattata 2 used Quick Attack on Rattata 3! "Ouch! Stupid rodent!" Rattata 3 used Quick Attack on Rattata 2!

Manty used Bubble Beam on Rattata 1! Rattata 1 fainted!

Edelwise had a grin on her face as she watched the two Rattata attack each other. It couldn't take too much longer for them to be down. Edelwise decided to use Tackle once more. She aimed for the obviously confused Rattata and used Tackle.

Tacking the Tackle from Edelwise, and a Quick Attack from the other Rattata, Rattata 2 fainted!

Manty used Bubblebeam on Rattata 3!

Immediately after the second Rattata fainted, the small Electrike turned to the last one standing. It was still standing after a Bubblebeam from Manty so Edelwise once again attempted to use Tackle. She could feel the Violent seed wearing off, but hopefully it would last long enough to finish this battle.

Rattata 3 used Quick Attack on Edelwise!

"Alright, two more attacks, and he is down!" Manty says, using Bubblebeam on Rattata 3.

The Rattata's Quick Attack definitely caught her off guard. The unexpected force of the impact sent her a little ways, but she quickly picked herself back up, growling at the last opponent. She heard Manty's words and nodded subconsciously before using Tackle once more.

Rattata 3 fainted!

-End of battle-

"Uuugh...I can't belive we got defeated..." Rattata 1 says

"Thanks to the newbie!" Rattata 3 says

"Its not my fault! It caught me off-guard!" Rattata 2 says

"At least we know which kind of Pokemon we are dealing with now!" Rattata 1 says, picking up a badge. It was a purple-black upside down triangle with neon blue bat wings. It shined, and all the three Rattatas were teletransported away.

Manty noticed that the devide that Shellder throwed away was forgotten by the Rattatas. He picked it up. It was a circular device with a glowly orb on the middle, that changed from grey to pink, and 4, small "legs". Based on Rattata's quote, it seems to control Pokemons.

After removing the device from Cubchoo, Shellder woke him up "Thank you soo much! Now, mind if you teleport us back to the guild with your custom explorer badge?" Shellder asks

"Our...badge?" Manty then looked inside their bag. There was a explorer badge. He showed it to Shellder, and Shellder and Cubchoo were teleported away. Manty picked up the bag, 2 of those devices and teleported back to the guild with Edelwise.

Edelwise grinned as the last Rattata fainted. "Yay! We did it!" She cried out, prancing in small circles to celebrate until she remembered the Shellder and Cubchoo.

She turned so that she was able to see them and Manty. The two Pokemon seemed to be fine and the Cubchoo was at least awake now. She didn't have time to talk to them though because they were suddenly teleported away. She turned to look at the badge Manty held, curiously eyeing it before they too were transported back.

After they all 4 were back at the guild, Shellder and Cubchoo gave Edelwise and Manty their rewards

"Please take our Persim Band. It will be really helpfull if you engage on a dungeon full of Zubats! Trust us, we have already felt that pain..." Shellder says, giving them a Persim Band, and some Pokedollars.

"By the way, I noticed that your explorer badge is the regular one. A team of a Mantyke and a Electrike...I can only imagine how creative a badge would be!" Cubchoo says, showing their explorer badges. "See, our badge is a snowflake with soft wings, representing our ice-types!" Cubchoo says

"You can get your own explorer badges with Smeargle the Desinger, at the mall." Shellder says, climbing out of the guild with Cubchoo.

Pikipek, who was flying by, noticed Manty and Edelwise "Oh my stars! I forgot to guide you on your first mission...well, judging by the smiles on your faces, I can tell it was great. We don't see exploration teams like that everyday. Sadly, since youre part of the guild..." Pikipek got half of their PD "You will have to share your Pokedollar as well. Keep up the goodwork, and dinner will be ready in two more hours!" Pikipek says, going to Clefable's room.

"Oh boy! The first adventure without guidance of Team Blue Lighting was great! Although, Im wondering about the badge thing..." Manty says

Edelwise grinned at the two Pokemon in front of them. They were all back at the guild now and the two Ice-types were giving them a reward for saving them from the Rattata. She wasn't complaining at all.

They mentioned being able to make a custom badge and fairly quickly, the Electrike drew up some mental designs. It would be cool to have a badge that was only for them.

Soon after the two ice types left, Pikipek flew by. The bird Pokemon mentioned something about not guiding them on their first mission and then flew off with their money. Well then...

"That was awesome Manty! Although, I thought we were helping a lost Oddish. Not stopping plotting Rattata. I'm not complaining because that was awesome, but I'm kind of confused." She muttered, glancing the direction Pikipek had flown absentmindedly. "About the badges though, we definitely need to check that out. It would be amazing to have a badge special to Team Blue Lightning!"
