I...have absolutely no idea where to start with your two characters, yes :'D
Major things:
* Poses
* Expression
* Colour scheme (if you guys have them, that is)
Minor:
* Accessoriess
* Background/Setting/other props (ie, they're in a cave or a jungle, they carry a sword or some other weapon with them, and so on)

Color scheme) In her description it says that Melez's skin is a reddish color. Like this sort of a color. Her wings are a darker red, like this color. Her horns are just a shade or two lighter than her wings.
Accessories/Other props) She has a leather strap that goes over her shoulder and around her waist that she has a dagger tipped whip on (it's on the waist part), and some throwing daggers on the part that goes over her chest. Looks like this minus the large buckle on the waist.
Background) Well, they could be in a field or perhaps in Eona's cave? Maybe they found a back room that hadn't been excavated yet and it has some gems sticking out of the walls?
What do you two think?

Pose) I love what Char said, I can see that. I think he'd definitely have his hands on her hips. Or one hand cupping her cheek. He'd be smiling, thrilled to be in her presence. A mischievous glint in those cat eyes of his.
Color scheme) Azazeal's colors are black and silver. Or very dark blue. His eyes are green, dark emerald colored. His skin is paler, not deathly pale, but very fair, kind of porcelain.
Props/ Accessories) He'd be wearing a shirt with billowing sleeves and collar but more form fitting at the torso. Kind of like this but definitely not the skinny jeans. More dress slacks. Or if you think he'd be better or if it'd be easer in a dress jacket, more this style. And nice black dress shoes. I can see him wearing a bit of red in the shirt if you want that pop of color. He does have a glass vial necklace. It's on a obsidian colored chain and the vial changes color depending on the souls locked inside. So I'll leave that color up to you, Argentis. Unless we should have it that green color, Char?
Background) I love the idea of them in the cave, in a unexcavated room, Char. The fact the dragons trust them to back there is really big. Perhaps there could be glowing gems? If that isn't too outlandish. Like in avatar when they are in the Secret love tunnel. The one where Aang and Kartara almost kiss in but then the gems start glowing? Or the underground caves in Ba sing se?

The vial could just be a swirl of various colors, or we could leave it up to Argentis's artistic abilities.

Are you both still looking for the lineless art style? (I feel like we've gone back and forth on that a bit, between Aurora and I) Or would you both prefer the other styles?
