Just a few questions to get some ideas rolling:
1) Is this RP going to be focused on the Avatar, and if so, which tribe are they from?
2) Post-series or pre-series?

Ah, but is bending a necessity for this RP? Idk about you guys, but Sokka, Suki and Asami were pretty kick-ass (though, I guess they had to be to be considered protags lol)
Idk which tribe I'd belong to tbh, maybe water since my sign's Aquarius, but I feel like that's a cheap answer haha
Maybe someone messed with the Spirit world again and this group of several avatars are looking into it?

Ok, so maybe we should stay away from the original story, i'd say go as far as it having never happened. That would make things simpler. I personally want to have two characters, one bending and one not. Nobody else would have to do that though, I just like having multiple angles XD
Also would you guys want to have the "Specialty Bending" (i.e. Metal, Lighting, Blood, Plants, etc.) as their own separate tribe styles?

If we're going AU-style for this RP, I don't see why not. But would they be welcomed or hated by the "main" tribes that can't attain that elite level of badass skill?? Might differ from tribe to tribe haha
But Aurora, how would you have a Kiyoshi warrior if avatar Kiyoshi never existed?

The world is before the first series at least. Before Korra too? How far back are we going?
Is the Fire Nation still being a butt and trying to conquer everyone? Or have they succeeded and have control over each smaller nation?
Are we doing the multiple avatars? (Perhaps a dumb idea) If we are, and everyone picks something other than a fire bender to start with, someone could have a non avatar character that's a fire bender that could team up with the group so that they can teach the others fire bending...
Perhaps the bad guy (anyone volunteer?) could be trying to tamper with something in the spirit realm to gain more power and this group has to stop them. For instance drinking from a particular pool there grants power, or there's a creature that, if caught, grants wishes or powers?

2) See above, I'd reckon. We could have all the tribes at war with one another, having territory disputes, but no tribe has "officially" conquered more than what can be wrestled away from again?
Like they'll have a giant piece of their nation land, and then there's invaded land, but the invaded land of another tribe's isn't permanent because of the changing war-front (not sure if this is a good idea, it kinda makes the setting rather depressing)
3) That's a good question. If they were all at different stages of their different element learning (ie, one has mastered 3, one has mastered 2, another has only their primary, no one has all 4), it could prove an interesting dynamic within their group

2) I like this idea. I believe that not all of a given nations people are totally against another though. So that there are groups trying to bring the world together in peace.
3) Oh! I like that idea! Or, and I really kind of like this idea, a set of twins? So, for an idea I had, the avatar soul was split in two and inhabits two bodies? If these seems too weird, go ahead and let me know.

2) Perhaps there would be two working together, probably not opposites though (fire and water working together doesn't fit right).
3) That's brilliant! Maybe that's a side effect of the tampering in the spirit world? And because of the splitting of the avatar spirit, the avatars could only master two or three of the four?

2) I think that it'd be more likely earth and fire would team up or earth and water, then have the opposites, like earth and air cooperation just pop up less often?
3.) Aright, now I'm really excited to make twin avatars! Everyone would be chill with that, right? I don't want to take over if someone else would like to have ultimate power too XD

2) Good point. For instance if earth crept up on the water boarder near the fire border then fire might help water, however unlikely that situation might be.
3) I'd be fine with someone having a pair of twin avatars. (Give them each opposite powers, twin 1 has fire and earth, twin 2 has water and air XD)
