Kiyotaka Ishimaru. He was
grieving over his dead boyfriend Mondo and had
basically finally gotten over it when he was killed. His killer got
killed by another killer so was it worth it? n o

-Zack's death in FFVII crisis core. I
thought I was prepared..but I wasn't. I knew it was coming, but
still..so heartbreaking. I cried so much, Pein thought in the first moment
some familymember died. ;A;
-The scene in VII when Red XIII learns the truth about his father.
-Tidus disappearing in FFX and the whole FFX ending. ;_;
-same with the FFIX ending

Various characters from the previous
two games appear in Inquisition. At one point, you get to have the
player character (Hawke) from the second game and a companion
(Alistair) from the first game in your party. (Or possibly either
of two other characters instead of Alistair depending on choices
you made in the first game. But I had Alistair.) Which was
absolutely great and I love those characters since I had become
quite emotionally attached to them during the first two games.
However... The story eventually lead me to a terrible decision: I had to leave either Hawke or Alistair behind to die. That was very much not okay. >:,[

And I also remember Mass Effect 3 being a particularly big source of all kinds of feels among other miscellaneous feelsy moments in games.
Edit: Oh, I just remembered another terri-horri-bad feelsy moment I had playing KotOR 2.

I grew quite fond of Atton, one of the
companions, and I quite enjoyed twisting him to the dark side on my
first playthrough. I was rather happy with the epilogue I got where
it's stated that he continues being an evil sith after the events
of the game.
Then, due to my brother's recommendation, I got the mod that restores the cut content to the game and then had my second playthrough on the light side. Atton ended up dying in a terrible heartbreaking way. I was so not prepared for that. :,[

When Porom and Palom sacrifice
themselves by turning themselves into stone to save you.
They're fine later in the game, but you don't know that until later.

So Okami gets me kind of happy-sad? No
one really dies and everything's ok BUT STILL Ammy leaves. Also the
cut scene in the Yami fight where everyone throughout the game
helps Ammy become Shiranui aaaahhhhh
Okamiden is just strait up sad hhhh. Kurow was my favourite partnerI love the moon tribe characters and Chibi and Kuni having
to kill him to defeat Akuro was just the WORST. And learning that
that was his only purpose all along; to die. Also, I really liked
Waka in the first game and now here he is creating child vessels to
house evil spirits and giving them just enough time to live
before oh butt, 'kid you gotta die with that spirit, that's your
purpose'.
I get why some wouldn't like Kurow, but it's still so sad ;;

Jade, Jax, Kabal, Kitana, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Nightwolf, Smoke, Stryker and heck, even Sub-Zero are all dead. Only Raiden, Johnny Cage, Scorpion and Sonya have survived the game.

Sarah's death was pretty sad, but I
had a complete breakdown when Tess died. It was way too real for
me.

This game is a train wreck but I love
it. I also broke down in tears listening to Jean's story. Call me
what you will, but a 6 year old should not have to go through
that.

It's been years, but I'll never get
over the baby sacrificing itself for you. That final fight was
filled with a level of deep, emotional hate I've never seen before
or since. Yeah, maybe it hit me a little harder than was perhaps
reasonable, but it meant something to me.

Basically, as soon as I saw that
Lillie was leaving for Kanto (I wasn't spoiled on this), I was just
quietly repeating "nonono" over and over again, pretty much. I
think I only shed a single tear that day.
Tales of Xillia 2's ending (ALL OF THEM ;A; All the endings are sad in a way, even the "True Ending")
Final Fantasy X 's ending - well mostly that, there were quite a few sad scenes I think.

After the Leviathan part when Ignis
lost his eye sight and the level that followed where you walked
around with him and he's trying to fight and stuff -- ;A;;; . Also
that part in that chapter where you play just Noct for the most
part (Chapter 12? idk, I forgot the chapter number), this chapter
was annoying, I played it before it was updated and the level
wasn't sad. what I actually found sad was finding Prompto and
seeing him make that really sad face, that broke my heart tbh
Persona 3's ending was very sad hh, I will never get over that;;

The entire ending
First, Buddy tells Brad that she knows he's a failure, breaking Brad and starting his mutation. Then,you make it to the final battle, where Rando speaks and comforts Buddy, to the surprise of his army. Then, your party at the moment betrays you, then Brad takes on- and wins, against Rando's army, saying he's been dead for 35 years and now he lives, as he begins to become a joy mutant
Then, you battle Rando, who says he does not want to fight a horribly wounded Brad, but Brad is too gone to care. At Rando's third phase, his mask breaks, revealing his horribly scarred face and his name changes to broken man. After that, you go to Buddy, where Brad begs for her to hug him. Then, you make the last choice of the game as Buddy- hugging Brad or leaving him to die.
That entire ending was a ride of tears. And if you did joyless or pain mode, you get a new ending on top of the one you got to rub the salt in

Rando's death
Near the end, you see Rando tied up with barbed wire. Bolo comes out of nowhere, and Rando reveals he was part of the plan to kidnap Buddy. No matter what choice you choose, Rando will die.
This entire moment made me not play the DLC for a bit, it was that sad for me.

And there's also the credits of Nuclear Throne and a scene after you do something secret. I'm not even going to talk about it, it's best you see it yourself
