Fire burns in the distance from the destroyed lab where all of us came from. Our "home" as some may call it but home it is no more. This war we were made for has been happening for a year now. Mutants humans pokemon all fighting to survive.
Our goal: To find the origional and kill it. Thats what we were made for and why we keep going.
We are taking our fist steps towards making a better world.

Kyoto looked outside the shack, he thought of his cousin, who had gone off on a mission, "I wonder what it's like, being a Freelancer." Wesley had gone off a few months ago, leaving Kyoto this shack, his other cousin, Cody, and Wesley's girlfriend, who he'd never met, decided to hold down the other safe zone a few miles north of Mount Moon. "Hey, Lucario, what was it like, being with Wesley, back then?"
"He was a nice kid, much like you, always willing to protect, he was brave, a little reckless, but he always had a plan." Lucario smiled, looking out at the beach.

(Could I ask where the lab is located in? As in, Is it in a forest?)

Fin quietly padded across the slightly burnt ground, Looking around cautiously. "Nothing left of this place.. Not the most ideal situation." Grumbling, The Absol continued to walk away from his previous shelter.

The lights had dimmed a bit noticeably, Trying to blend in to the surroundings around him. Fin was looking for other Pokemon, Where were they? Most wouldn't even have a scratch from this fire, Had they already ran away?

Kyoto turned on the radio, and music was playing, calming music, stuff that hadn't been heard in ages. "This is new..." He looked at the calendar, "This couldn't be a dream, April 15, 2075. I'm still in today." He looked outside, things seemed normal, nothing changed. "Aye, probably losing my mind." He looked at Lucario, who was napping on the rocking chair. "It's nothing..."
