"No, I understand. You two would just be unhappy trapped down
there. The RUINS are very small once you get used to them. It would
not be right for you two to grow up in a place like this. My
expectations... My loneliness... My fear... For you, my children...
I will put them aside." Toriel told them.
The world brightened around them as Toriel ended the fight.
"If both of you truly wish to leave the RUINS, I will not stop you.
However, when you leave," she turned around and sadly looked Lilly
and Liecht in the eye. "Please do not come back. I hope both of you
understand." She gave Lilly and Liecht a hug.
"Goodbye, my children." Toriel gave them a warm, sad smile before
walking off, disappearing into the darkness.
Lilly opened the second door and went inside. She saw Flowey
there.
"Clever. Verrrryyy clever. You think you're really smart, don't
you? In this world, it's kill or be killed. So you were able to
play by your own rules." Flowey's face changed. "You spared the
life of a single person. Hee hee hee... I bet you feel really
great. You didn't kill anybody this time." His face went back to
normal. "But what will you do if you meet a relentless killer?
You'll die and you'll die and you'll die. Until you tire of trying.
What will you do then?" Flowey had a creepy face. "Will you kill
out of frustration? Or will you give up entirely on this world...
and let ME inherit the power to control it?"
He looked at them with a grin. "I am the prince of this world's
future. Don't worry, my little monarchs, my plan isn't regicide.
This is SO much more interesting." Flowey laughed and then went
underground.
